Good warm cottage brake with good scenery. Open fire is fantastic.. Completely private house for also families.
A bit far from main road, very cold in winter..
Great location, has a big outdoor space for young children to run around.
- quiet & calm place - big bedrooms, - big living room with fireplace and fully equipped, - lovely staff, - delicious breakfast, - and much more
- there is no possibility to complain ! ... maybe only that you have to leave this place
perfect！Nice， friendly host. Good location with fantastic view. It's a pity only stay for on night. Strongly recommend!
Quiet, beautiful scenery
We had a hard time finding it but had to do more with Italy roads not marked well and GPS in car not working
It was very clean and decorated well. It has a great view of the Tuscan Hills. Breakfast was great. I would recommend this place.
The bed was not comfortable.
Beautiful location. Decor of rooms lovely. Owner superb hostess.
Wine Accommodation Host -thanks Sonia! Food Easy to find
Only the bed a little too soft for my liking.
The owners are fabulous hosts, large rooms, pleasant and quiet country setting, good breakfast, reasonably close to historical sites (but, you need a car)...highly recommend
Small shower (but typical for Italian lodgings)
La Pievins is a Tuscan oasis perched on a hill where you can take in the views, including the large flock of sheep that graze below each day. This place is ideal for anyone wanting to visit the hill towns, but relax at night in a quiet spot where you can watch the sunset from your room. You'll wake to the distant crowing of a rooster and a generous, delicious breakfast of local meats and cheese and homemade granola, fruit tarts (crostatas) and coffee cakes (tortas). Sonia is a lovely, gracious host who speaks little English, but will patiently decipher what little Italian you can muster.
sometimes the facilities are much less important than the humain contact
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Sonya was the best host that a person could ask for, the breakfasts were great, the cottage apartment we lived in was comfortable and well maintained. I have mixed feeling about given it such an excellent rating, because I know it will be harder for me to get a reservation there the next time I am in Italy. It was truly wonderful.
the kitchen and the location.....but be sure to have your own car.
Breakfast is good Room is clean and spacious Beautiful view In the heart of Tuscany
No swimming pool No pepper in kitchen
Its a charming place with very nice people - especially owner Sonia, who (as we could see) loves her job and makes everything with love (as small details: fresh roses in the bed, fresh flowers, etc.). She and her family were really friendly and hospitable. If you want to explore the wonder of Toscana and enjoy the beautiful nature I definetely recommend this place!
Roxana, Romania - Excellent! Quite an experience! Whoever plans to visit the area should consider spending at least one night there,
I would have liked to spend more time there!
Sonia runs a very nice B & B. We were so happy to have found her! On our trip through Paris, Switzerland and Italy, this was my favorite stay!
Beautiful peaceful place on the Montepulciano hills, easy to reach and not far from the centre! Sonia is a very kind host and we enjoy every minute of our stay! Highly recommended!
it is an ideal location with a beautiful view and attention to every detail. We loved our stay and how welcome we felt by its owners. Absolutely reccomend it!
Sonia is very helpful and friendly person. It´s fantastic place for relax
Sonya, her son and granny were very hospitable. The views are more than great. Sonya, your chocolate cake for breakfast is fantastic! We were with a one year old boy and he liked your cat and other animals a lot) Thank you!
Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful room. Lovely rural location short drive from Montepulciano. Great staff; even better home-made vino nobile!
No wifi. Hard to find in the dark (and a violent thunderstorm) even with GPS - no sign indicating that you have reached the right place.
View and location Host was very nice
said to be on a farm with some activities. Not really true Host did not speak much English which was not easy
'5 star' accommodation for a fraction of the price. Stunning views over the valley. Beautifully decorated and very comfy room. Idyllic spot for lots of peace and quiet. Sonia over-reaches herself to make everyone very welcome, and so does Tiago the family dog. The vinyards vino Nobile tastes even better at sunset. Close enough to Montepulciano centre by car (or 2/3km by foot if you feel less lazy). Il Covo restaurant close to turning for Via Totona provides all culinary needs at good prices.
Any noisy guests. Having to leave.
Space, own facilities. So relaxing! Highlight of our trip. View was breathtaking.
