We couldn't manage to switch on air conditioner in our room. Likely it was not very hot outside. Train is going very close to the hotel and often. You can hear and feel it each and every time.

The location is right in Isola Bella. You can literally swim to the island. The hotel is just below the main centre of Taormina and the bus station, the standard cost by taxi is 15 euro otherwise you can go up the 100m steps and take the cablecar for 3 euros one way. The hotel is very modern in style, the views are unbelievable. The hotel has a private beach so you dont need to pay for umbrella and sun bed rental. The hotel has a beach bar which serves food and drinks all day. On the beach there are other casual restaurants which serve great food at lower price. They have life guards and beach service.The deluxe room is spacious and clean, beautiful bathroom with many toiletries and strong hair dryer. Amazing view from the deluxe room which has a small private garden with sunbed. The hotel staff were very kind, in particular Guiseppe helped with dinner reservations and Rosario upgraded our room from bungalow to Deluxe room. Breakfast is served outdoors with beach view and indoors.

The garden bungalow is more like a very small hut, the ac is very weak and there are no windows which can be left open. (Regardless in August it is too hot to open a window and many mosquitos) Once the shower is used the bungalow fills with humidity leaving the bed damp and uncomfortable. After much effort to stay in the bungalow I requested a room change becuase I was finding it difficult to sleep due to the lack of air circulation. We got upgraded to a deluxe room which was wonderful in comparison. (The deluxe room is exactly what you would expect from La Plage unlike the bungalow) The rooms have Sky tv however they do not have all the channels which can be translated into English only very few. The hotel has no swimming pool. The spa does not offer many services. The beach has large pebbles so please be prepared and buy the appropriate swimming shoes. Regardless of the issues I faced, I would still book at the La Plage, the hotel has a lot of potential and as long as you book the deluxe room you'll have a great time.

This is by far the best location in Taormina , Right on the beach. The staff were very helpful and English was well understood by reception and Beach staff. We were given an up grade to a Superior room.

WiFi is very patchy in the Bungalows, but was ok in the superior rooms and on the beach. Everything in the Hotel is expensive from the rooms to room service. Our shower in the Bungalow needed a good clean.Breakfast was average ..no muesli and other cereals were basic. No green tea unless you wanted mint flavour and fruits were very basic compared to what was available in the market. The resort is good but very expensive because of the location

- Beautifull view!!! Isola Bella island is in front of the hotel. - Fusion Restaurant is excelent! Food and service are very good. - Breakfast is delicious and beautifull view. - Staff is friendly. - Wiff FREE in public areas and beach.

- *****(5) starts without swimming pool. - Rooms are too small. - Don't have Wifi service in rooms. - Location is not very good. To go to Cable car need to walk for a unsafe street or take a taxi to Taormina ( 15 Euro one way). - Food, drinks and service in the beach bar is very bad. -

Location is probably the best in the whole of Taormina. Close to the beach, and close to the cbale car to the town.

If you pay over 300 euros for a room, I find it...unexpected to pay 6 euros for a pack of candy hardly worth 50 cents...

The staff was excellent, they tried to always assist patrons with what they needed. The housekeeping staff must work all day because no matter when we left the room they were available to refresh the room. The beach and location is perfection! It's very difficult to find modern style amenities and comfort in Sicily, but La Plage offers it. Overall stay for the price and the amenities was excellently relaxing!!

The staff works very hard and I think that if the management could hire in a few more bodies the multi-tasking staff would be better able to focus on excellence. There was one day when the water wouldn't get hot for about 2hrs. The room thermostat is not sufficient, but the ocean breeze offers all the coolness one needs. Overall this is the most budget friendly best location in Taormina. Modern amenities are hard to find, and the beds are very comfortable!!

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft, super freundlicher Empfang mit Sekt, tagsüber gibt es viele nette kleine Aufmerksamkeiten im Hotel. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Das Frühstück war klasse!

plage de galets, assez loin du centre, le bungalow réservé avec vue partielle mer avait vue sur les toitures des bungalows du devant, chambre et salle de bain petite, avec un confort moyen pou cette catégorie d'hôtel

. La situation idyllique . la serviabilité du staff, notamment à la réception mais également au restaurant . le concept en général (bungalows avec jacuzzi et vue sur une crique sublime, juste le rêve !) . la cuisine (des gnocchi à se damner !) En bref, beaucoup plus de points positifs qu'à améliorer, ces derniers sont mis histoire de dire et d'être constructif. On a adoré notre séjour !

. Le manque de clarté sur le concept du petit déjeuner : il y a bien une carte mais où ne figurent que les oeufs. Tout peut visiblement être servi mais il faut le deviner... Et le commander. Un buffet serait idéal. . la liaison wi-fi un peu instable dans les bungalows, mais très bonne sur les transats ! . une piscine complèterait parfaitement le tableau, en avant-saison où la mer est très froide.
