Less than half a mile from Ottaviano and Lepanto Metro stops, Iulia Guest House is in central Rome. It offers stylish rooms with design furniture, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Score from 220 reviews Excellent
The staff Matteo and Marco are very friendly and helpful every time during the day. The room is full equiped and the breakfast had all goods. Also, we had access to the breakfast room all day. Everyday, we used the bus (46 and 49) to arrive to city center. Moreover, the metro station Cipro, is very close to the hotel (10min walk) and we used it only the last day in order to arrive easier and faster to the airport.
Clean, gozy room, bathroom & kitchen Walking distance from Vatican Free home made cake in kitchen. Quite extensive breakfast (prepacked croissants, toast, sweets, cake, cornflakes, coffee, thee, milk) TV (but just Italian stations)
Quite small room, bathroom & kitchen (but gozy) Not easy to find (we got wrong explanation to go left from bus 49, but you must go right when exit the bus ;-) No fresh (brown) bread or fruit served at breakfast (seems typical Italian breakfast, mainly with lot's of sweets)
Good location. Beautiful interior in the rooms. Atmosphere like at home. Tasty breakfasts. Rooms are very clean;many thanks for special decorations because of our wedding; moreover my husband had a birthday and the householders organized a delicious cake with candles for him;
The welcome and breakfast was 1st class and very helpful
Cleaness and family-oriented accomondation For location: To hotel Option 1 : directly take taxi from main train station or airport to hotel . Option 2 : take bus no. 64 from train station to P.za Venezia from where you can change bus no. 46 which take you to direction of staz.ne monte Mario , you have to get off at the stop of Aurelia which is just near the intersection then, you just turn left walk down the slope and find the no. 190 of via Aurellia .
I was surprised by the room. I stayed in the Newport. The rooms are newly renovated. Lots of attention to details. Loved it. Even the bathrooms. Thank God they had air condition. Free wifi and breakfast. No noise and I felt safe. 6-10mins walk to the Vatican and bus stop. Take bus 64/49 to the center where colosseum etc. 5mins away from Trastevere great area to eat. I felt like I was home coming far away from Jamaica. The staff Marco and Matteo were helpful and speak English.
Excellent location, stuff and facilities. Cosy atmosphere. You can access the San Pietro Square and the other tourist attractions in the neighbourhood without having to wait too long for the means of transport. I highly recommnend this location to other tourists travelling with their family. Special thanks to the owner Marco. Elena, Iulia and Haralambie from Romania.
No such problems.
We like that there is coffee and tea facilities, which makes it very convenient for up to make milk for the baby. We had enough privacy there.
The shower was very small, and the ventilation of the room was not very good so it makes it hot in June.
Marco was awesome in helping us with our needs, including picking us up in his car from the metro stop when we got lost. The location is a 15 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and a ten minute walk to St. Peter's Square. Our room was perfect and immaculately clean. Air conditioning was great! Our private breakfast room was so nice so we could eat in our pajamas and enjoy a relaxed meal. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the craziness of city center.
The closest metro stations are 10-15 minutes away and not easy to walk with luggage, though there are two bus lines available right outside the B&B.
We did not stay at this Hotel, but were booked in next door at Casa Riz. A guy with the name Orlando helped us checking in at this place. He was very keen to help us and go out of his way to make sure we have a pleasant stay. He also make us breakfast very early the next morning. If not for Orlando, this booking would be a disaster. Thanks Orlando, you are a very good person.
We can not rate this hotel as we did not stay here. They took our payment and hand us over to guy next door without asking or explaining. This place is also very difficult to find as there are no name indications on street. We have to walk in the area pointed out by the GPS and luckily we saw a sign as big as my two hands in a porch nearby. I will definitely not recommend this place to anybody.
In a quiet location. A/c and wi-fi worked great
Shower was tiny
Location is near the Vatican City.
The bathroom is too small.
Our host, Marco, was very friendly and helpfull. The location was very near the Vatican and convent to bus 46. The room was comfortable and always kept clean. We had a balcony in our room. Breakfast was good.
Nothing to dislike. We will stay again when in Rome.
Great location! Everything is neat and tidy--immaculate. Appears to be new!
The shower is small. Great water pressure--just small in size.
Privacy. We were left to do our own thing. The place was spotless. The owners were charming.
We would have liked tea facilities in the room. We never got the hang of drying our wet towels overnight
Cozy n comfortable stay
Need a click in room pls. Emg number to be given out at booking. Visible presence at breakfast time
Wifi is slow
We were very pleased to have been met by car at the station. The breakfasts were good and we liked the bright colours in our room.
It was a lovely quiet location within easy walking distance to the Vatican, as well as all the other wonderful historical sites that Rome has to offer.
