Very friendly people, also taxi well organised and clean. Loved the quietness of the place and also the reception desk people was very good and friendly - i will stay there again. I did not like the breakfast arrangements - much rather have my own kettle and tea and coffee in the room.

Perfect location in Centro Storico and close to Vatican city. Staff is helpful and friendly. Apartment is modern, in good shape while being in a traditional building. Windows are facing a calm street or a courtyard and therefore it is quiet.

A location is great, I didn't use buses at all to get to any historical site or anywhere. Around the hotel there are several restaurants, pizzas and a Carrefour. It's not written, but in the room they have a fan and shampoo. WiFi is pretty good, enough for watching moves on-line. A bad is really comfortable, and the whole place is really nice. Maybe it was the problem of my room only but the heater didn't work, it was very cold at night (I was staying at the beginning of February). But an additional blanket can help. And the neighbours, you hear everything they say, but perhaps mine were just to noisy :)

clean rooms, it is on the second floor in one old residential apartment, that makes you feel like you actually live in Rome:-) very poor internet connection. i do not know if that was only in my room or the whole hotel. i will not recommend this hotel for business use. also the walls are very thin, you can hear pretty much everything from next door and the hallway( it didnot bother me so much since all the guests were quiet and polite during my stay)

It's located a short walk from Plaza Navona and not too far from most of the attractions of ancient Rome. The price was economical The place is run part time by people who obviously have another job so there is no one around at the front desk. While they give numbers of the 3 partners to call, this is inconvenient since most of us are from out of town and it means a long distance call and significant roaming charges. I think if you want to run a business you should hire someone to run it if you cant be there all the time. I wanted to settle my bill for 3 nights stay upfront but was told to settle it the following day (not sure why). I stated that my itinerary for the 2.5 days in Rome was planned tightly with tours booked in advance and I'd be leaving early and returning late, so I was prepared to setlle the bill upfront. But they wanted to settle it on the 3rd morning of my stay. Yet on the pre-arranged time the person was not around and I already had plans for a tour booked in advance and did not want to be late. I called someone and he had trouble speaking English, thus making a short conversation last lomger as I had to repeat myself (incurring long distance charges). I was then called by someone later, and had to arrange another time to pay. On the day I was to check out, I had to wait for someone to show up to pay. He was 15min late and I had to have breakfast and catch mu flight. All this was avoidable if the bill could have been settled ahead of time. They also did not wish to issue breakfast ticket for 3 days, but stated they would pass it to me the next day. Why should this be? After all, it is a B&B and the second B is "breakast". As it is, I had no ticket for the second day since he failed to meet us at the pre-arramged time before my tour The mattress was not very comfortable, hence the first B in was also just passable. Staying in a B&B, I dont expect concierge services and hotel-like facilities. But it is frustrating having to call someone and wait fruitlessly for something as basic as settling my bill. Tourists come to Rome to see the sites, not wait around

Perfect location close to Castel dell'Angelo, Vatican city and historic centre. Thanks to double windows no noise of city, clean, modern. It is like an apartment, therefore no facilities like a hotel and breakfast is served in a bar around the corner, simple but good cafe as usual in italy.

Excellent location Comfortable, reasonably sized, clean room. Good sized bathroom with large shower cubicle. Breakfast poor. We stayed 7 nights and had the same breakfast every day. Reception was not manned although we were given telephone numbers to call if we needed anything. We called once and Carlos responded very quickly but our request for a receipt was ignored.

Indeed, I liked only the location and nothing more! Actually many things: 1- Room area is so small that two persons can't pass at a time in the path 2- No Refrigirator in the room! 3- No water heater or cups to have a morning drink! 4- No soup or shampo provided!! 5- Room rate is 100Euro per night which is so expensive! 6- Breakfast is provided 100meters away from hotel and includes only: one juice cup! One hot drink cup! One croissant piece! One tast with jam piece! This is not a breakfast!!!

Carlo and Allesandro were excellent hosts. My luggage didn't make it to Italy and they both helped me get it back from the airport. They were very friendly and helpful with dinner ideas and what to do in Roma. The room was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and well appointed. The location is fantastic. We walked everywhere...to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and surrounding sites, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc. This place was amazing for the price. The wireless routor wasn't the best...I Had to sit in the hallway right next to the router to get reception.

The owners (Carlo & Carlo) were so helpful and speak good english. They gave us good advises and helped us with arranging transportation to the train station. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Wi-fi is free and available all the time. Location is great for tourists. First, we were shocked with the entrance of the building but then it turns our that the room itself is much more nicer. The breakfast is served outside the hotel but in a nice café nearby, so it’s not a big issue. Few missing things in the rooms like, fridge, glasses…

The hotel was in a central location and within easy reach of all the main sites in Rome, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. It was a special birthday for me and the staff were very kind with helping to organize a booking at a select restaurant for a special evening meal and even organized a taxi for us. They spoke very good English and nothing was ever a problem for them. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family

Allesandro looked after us and was the perfect host and gave us some good local tips. The location was great, near regular buses and within walking distance to many areas. Room was clean, comfy and nicely appointed. We were all in together, but the room was large enough and good value for money. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The only thing missing was a fridge and kettle to make tea/coffee, otherwise I would give it top marks.

Carlo a very nice young man, one of the owners corresponded with me from booking to arrival and greeted us once we arrived and saw us into the room and settled. The room had comfortable beds and an extra folding bed brought in was also fairly comfortable. The decor was neutral which more hoteliers should embrace and had good air conditioning which was needed as Rome was hot during our stay. The bathroom was good and overall the space felt homey. Since the walls are over a foot thick and solid it was quiet but that also limited the wifi and my girls settled in the hallway between the bath and bed on chairs to get good connections. I found Rome to be a difficult city to book a hotel in and would certainly stay here again but a few touches to the room would add greatly to the comforts of future guests. A small cafe table, seating for four and a small hot water pot and cups for tea would have made the stay more enjoyable. Another aside would be for hosts to have a list of needed traveller wants, cleaners, groceries, etc. since most correspond by email it could just be an attachment. Rome is amazing and the location of the hotel was perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see in a fairly short three days. It is closest to the river and Castel Sant Angelo and the Vatican, but we walked within a half hour to the ruins.

Chosen for it's location, as I am not very mobile. It allowed me to see what I wanted , without having to walk too far. The room was good, the shower etc and towels good. Breakfast around the corner was not exciting, but I was always late arriving, so my choice was limited. There was no resident staff, so when help was needed, it was not easy to make contact. I had help with my luggage when arriving, but there was no-one available when I was leaving, and I had to get a passerby to call a taxi for me. The place was good, but more suitable for at least a couple of travellers.

The apartment was clean, modern and well kept. It was excellent value for money, given that the hostels in Rome were only slightly cheaper. The staff were friendly and very helpful. While it was close to the Vatican, it was a little bit far to walk to other parts of Rome if you wanted to see a lot within the one day.

La Residenca provides decent accommodation. Owners are very responsive to requests. Before we arrived we mailed them couple of questions and received prompt replies. Location is very good, close to Vatican and the Angel Castle. City center can be reached on foot in approximately 20 minutes. City bus station is very close as it is one of stops for sitibus from the airport. Owners should do something about breakfast. Breakfast is not served within accommodation. Instead, you are given vouchers to get breakfast in the bar around the corner. That is fine. But information at the Residence's website is misleading. It mentions that breakfast include croissant, cookies, sliced bread, butter, jam, nutella, yogurt and fruit juices, and a choice between milk, coffee, tea and cappuccino). Everything is fine with drinks. But for others: on the first day we were offered croissant, jam, butter and crackers. On the second day we were offered croissant, jam and crackers. On the third day we were offered croissant. I do not care what contract owners of the residence have with bar but they should make sure that guests do not feel to be fooled. Bar should offer what is on the list without being asked by guests.

I enjoyed a great time at La Residenza dell Angelo at April. The hotel is located by 5 minutes walking from the Castelo de San Angelo, and close to the Vatican; great location, isn´it? The room was very comfortable, spacious and silent, with modern furniture, was kept very clean all day, and Wi-Fi runs perfect. It is located at the first floor, with elevator. The staff was very kindness, Carlo and Carlo Maria, making feel me very comfortable at Easter; these kind of things make a great difference!! Highly recommendable. The breakfast, taken at a café near the hotel; those people would need to improve a little their service.

This b&b was located directly across the river from the Castel St Angelo and was within easy walking distance of every major site you would want to see in Rome. Carlo and Alessandro were very helpful, even to the point of printing and delivering our online tickets to the Vatican from their off-site office. Alessandro even helped us carry our bags to the bus (only a block away) to catch our train to Venice. The room was large, light-filled, clean and comfortable. An excellent choice in Rome! The only two minor downsides: internet service in the room was sporadic, although we could always connect in the small lobby outside our door. The breakfast is not onsite, but in a very close restaurant around the corner. It was just coffee, juice and sweet pastries, but good to start the day.
