La Residenza Dell'Orafo  

Výborný personál, velmi nápomocný při orientaci ve městě, při parkování. Domácí prostředí, velmi útulné a čisté. Potěšil wellcome drink s ovocem a sušenkami, zdarma káva a čaj na pokoji, možno uschovat zavazadla i po opuštění pokoje.

Vzhledem k umístění hotelu v centru obtížné parkování, ale to asi nelze považovat za negativum hotelu (personál ochotně zajistí odparkování vozu a jeho zpětné doručení - za poplatek). Rušnější okolí, ale to je nejspíše daň za bydlení v centru.

Great B&B near SMN Station, excellent staff and welcome. Clean and well appointed rooms, excellent bathroom and plenty of hot water. Welcome fruit basket and daily pastry provided. On arrival the lovely receptionist provided a map and recommendations of places to eat. The breakfast is at a nearby cafe with a choice of juice and coffee/tea and either a small sandwich and pastry or pastry and fruit salad or sandwich and fruit salad. Very clean and friendly cafe and great service. I recommend La Residenza Dell'Orafo to any one travelling to Firenze. Excellent.

Staff is very nice and introduced spots, restaurants to us when we checked in. Location is very close to the train station and walking distance to all spots. The room is clean.There will be drink, crossant and fruits when check in.

Excellent location close to train station and Duomo. Large 4 person room was wonderful.

Close proximity to the Santa Maria Novella railway station was very convenient. Lady at the reception Raphaella, was most helpful during check- in. She provided a map with shopping and sightseeing attractions highlighted. Room was cosy and pleasant.

There was outside noise nearby during the evenings. Windows were definitely not soundproofed as mentioned on their website. Breakfast was not on-site and at a nearby cafe. It would have been great if breakfast was actually served in the rooms.

A spotless room with excellent facilities. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent all round. We would recommend a stay to anyone.

Loved the location, the hotel itself and all that comes with it. Didn't have a balcony, I'd change that, but that's just a minor thing. They have an agreement with a nearby cafe for breakfasts, which is great. So you get a breakfast card with 3 menus of choice and just exchange it there for the actual food. Very near, like 50 meters.

Just one thing. It's very expensive. We got a great last minute deal, so it was perfect. But even though the place was very beautiful, I probably wouldn't pay their normal rate for it.

The hotel is on the first floor of a building. We were booked in nt Rafaella who was wonderful. Arranged for our car to be collected and garaged then gave lots of info to help us with our sightseeing and dining. The room was comfortable and the bed the best we have had so far in Italy. Well situated with just a short stroll to the Duomo and other sights. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. Also lots of shopping close by if you choose. Highly recommended

the place is very well located and the reception was fantastic. as it was our honeymoon, we were greeted with a bed full of petals and other details that made the place even more special.

the breakfast was the only bad point as it is done in a close coffee where there is not variety nor can eat as much as you want.

The location and clean room. Stayed with 10 and 13 year old kids and my wife and it was spacious enough for all of us. Simply the best. less than 5 min walk from the train station SMN Firenze. & Right next to a very good supermarket.

If you are very sensitive to noise then you might not like the buzzing sound from the fuse box at night. Also the supermarket will stock their new stuff around 5:00-6:00AM and we could hear the cart going back and forth from our room. We were under jetlag so it wasn't a major problem but another minus if you are sensitive to noise. Other than this, nothing to complain.

The location is just 3 mins walk from train station, very convenient for a short stay if you need to take train to Pisa or other places very often. it is also a walking distance to other Firenze attractions and shopping area. no need to take any transportation within the city. anyway, it is quiet even close to the train station and busy street, the window with double-glazed and soundproof wall (it is mentioned by the hotel). our room with two large windows facing the street, it is good. although we spend not much time in the hotel unless we back to sleep. with free wifi in the room, that is important for travelling in Italy, since most restaurant do not provide wifi there is a Chinese restaurant just next to the building of the hotel, it maybe a good choice for Chinese people.

The heating is not quite enough. Although the receptionist told us that we need to turn on the air-conditioner at about 30 degree for long time to make the room warm, but it is still a little bit cool even when we wake up. luckily, the weather is not so cold during the days we stay. that's fine and acceptable.
