Would thoroughly recommend this b & b which was only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Official check in is not until 2pm but Alessandro, our host, was happy to let us leave our luggage at reception while we started our sightseeing. Our room (no 106) was quiet as it overlooked the central courtyard rather than the street. It was really well equipped – down to slippers, supplies of tea/coffee/water/juice which were replaced daily. The shower room was small but again very well equipped with hairdryer, shampoo, soap and spare toothbrushes! Breakfast was a croissant and a hot drink at the small sandwich bar two doors down. Perfectly adequate. Alessandro, was very helpful and equipped us with a map of Florence and recommendations for meals out. One, I’Brincello, about 50 yards down the street, we used every night as it was so good.
The room is wide.
Wi-Fi system is slow.
Very clean. Good location. Friendly host. I would stay here again.
Breakfast was a bit weak IMO.
The room is equipped with everything you could have in a star hotel. Coffee, tee, cookies, slippers and shampoo, really beyond my expectation. Very clean, quiet and good location. Breakfast in a bar downstairs, nice coffee and croissant
Reception is only open till 8 pm
Cleanliness, value for money, location, kindness of the staff
Every thing ! nice place ,nice couple staff! and they will give you some opinions eg. which place you should go, which restaurant is better etc.
no! no! no!
The hosts were outstanding with concern to directions and sights to see. Room was modern and clean. Location was only a 5 minute walk to most of the sights.
Breakfast included was only a coffee and a dry croissant in a small café 2 doors down the road. Rooms are small but typical of Europe.
Bathroom tea and coffee making facilities heating
Dog in reception no real breakfast in the bed and breakfast
Alessandro was truly an excellent host. He recommended not so expensive restaurants but serving very good Tuscan food. He taught us how to tour the main attractions in Florence in one day. Room was large and tastefully decorated. A short leisurely ten minute walk to the train station.
The heater in the room did'nt work well during our first night. The temperature was 3 degrees outside and it felt around 10 degrees inside the room. It was fixed promptly on the following day.
I liked everything. Host, politeness, room, bathroom… WiFi is good, room is very nice, warm with mini-fridge (with free drinks!), very good shower and bathroom has some ‘cave’ style which I like. Clean, express check in, very reasonable price for the place in center of florence. Just 200m from train station, close to market place, supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars with very reasonable prices. Bed is very good and pillows as well, room is actually very big, but because of composition of the building is a bit too long in one dimension. TV, tea pot, biscuits, extra blankets, anti-mosquito device, plugs for electricity everywhere, mini-fridge, WiFi and good room-service are enough to recommend this B&B to other potential guests.
only missing some desk or something like that in the bathroom
lovely room, good staff
breakfast, only croasans and coffee, tea
Located close to main train station and close to markets and main tourist attractions. Easy walking distance. Helpful staff on reception - English speaking. Gave us a map and advice on what to see in our short stay. Room clean and comfortable. Good value.
Helpful and informative staff Easy access to trains/ rental cars/ Florence highlights
No hooks in the bathroom and no reading light
Alessandro was very helpful to ensure that our stay in Florence was excellent. Very well situated, close to the attraction and the train station was at a walking distance
Everything here is good. Attractions, restaurants and train station are just around the corner. The room is new, modern & clean. If i were to come back to florence that will me my number one choice.
- My room was very comfortable and roomy. Nice big bed! The bathroom was hands down the best in all my stay in Europe. Extremely clean and very big relatively speaking. The bathroom was located away from the room so it definitely lends for privacy if you're not traveling alone. - Included in room was free snacks and water! Huge bonus after a tired day of walking around. Also included was a coffee pot (rare from my experience). - located a couple blocks from the Train station; walking distance to practically every major attraction; tons of shopping and restaurants close by; couldn't ask for better location. - Alessandro was very helpful in providing information about getting around and where to go. Kudos! - My room was located in the back so I did not experience much noise at all. - Free WIFI that worked very well and lots of outlets to charge your devices. - I would definitely stay here again my next visit to Florence!
- You have to go next door for breakfast; the owner of the Bar is very friendly and super nice guy. The free breakfast is one croissant and coffee. I had to buy additional croissant because my tummy needed more lol. - hotel was a bit tricky to find; small sign on the wall and you have to ring a bell to get in initially. Look for big brown doors located just before the Bar.
Would recommend to all. Lovely staff, very helpful tips and a great location close enough but not on top of the action.
Helpful and very accommodating, Alessandro has helped to arrange for some of our museum tours and provided a lot of local info in going around Firenze. The room is very clean and cozy.
Sounds of vehicle, sometimes even in the early morning hour
Excellent location. Price was fair given that a Florence is a tourist magnet. Lovely bathroom.
Nice location of the B&B between the train station and the city centre. Very clean rooms with big toillete and free things in mini bar. We stayed 3 nights and everything was beautiful.
The breakfast was little poor with only a coffee and a croissant in the next door small bar, but it is not a big problem
very good location. the owner couple were friendly. room is nice
price was a bit higher than usual when I booked....
No american express
Angela was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's easy access to San Maria Novella station and other great sites around Florence made it the perfect stay for me. Recommend to couples and solo travellers but not family friendly
The location was very good, I needed a single night in Florence before catching flight back to the states, the staff gave me good ideas for dinner and shopping close by
Loud party carrying on outside the back alley until about 2 AM. Not the fault of the B&B, but don't expect quiet necessarily
I had asked for a quiet room and got one fortunately, because it is on a busy road. Very convenient for the train and bus stations and airport bus. Friendly owners and staff. All complementary toiletries, teas, etc. very nice. Kettle in room.
