We realy liked the location although note it is not an easy drive. You are rewarded with a great view and a relaxing and a stylish hotel which some have said needs remodelling but we really liked the ambience. This hotel bests serves those looking for a get-away, relaxing few days. We had to go to Monaco for business and this proved very time consuming and probably false economy as it turned out. The meals were overpriced and not especially good - but you are a captive audience there. Awful coffee, if that's improtant. Overall we liked it but it was not the best choice for us at that time. The coffee. Meals not great. Distance/drive to get anywhere more difficult than we anticipated.

We liked the location despite the hairy ride up and down - decided not to go back down to find a restaurant and ate in the hotel which was good. Staff were more than helpful and courteous at all times. The hotel was tired and very old fashioned but charming. Being family run we suspect it needed significant investment to bring it to a more internationally recognised standard.

The view was stunning! The restaurant was excellent, good wine too. The pool was great, even though the weather wasn't the greatest when we arrived. We stayed 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The road to the hotel was exciting, we had to back up 3 times to let other oncoming cars go by. Not for everyone, but we enjoyed it.

The suite was magnificent. Very spacious room and extremely clean. We had 3 balconies and we up on top of a mountain. The only thing we didn't like was that the day we were there the top of the mountain had a cloud over it, so it was a bit cool and damp for mid August. The breakfast could have been better.

Excellent location with mountain & sea-view, extremely helpful and very friendly staff. Excellent food quality in rather large quantities (also in half board, worthwhile though !) at a very romantic place. Excellent facilities, except for internet. (one PC) Difficult to reach; only taxi from railway station (6 miles, 18 Euros) or sometimes free shuttle from the hotel, at limited times. (Not during lunch or dinnertime, as whole staff (hotelfamily) is serving and working for the guests) Responsiveness from staff during could be improved, as it took a rather long time after the main course before someone showed up for dessert and/or coffee afterwards.

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht von Ventimiglia.Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich aber es lohnt sich.Das Hotelpersonal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Im Restaurant kann man gediegen essen. Unser Zimmer war sehr großzügig und sauber. Alles in Allem etwas verblichener Glanz aber auch reizvoll.Wir waren zufrieden und würden wieder kommen.

Traumhafte Lage und schönes Ambiente. Hotelmitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hotelparkplatz ist vorhanden und steht gratis zur Verfügung. Die Zufahrtswege von Ventimiglia sind sehr schmal, vor allem eine Zufahrt ist seht steil und abenteuerlich und für pkw nicht zu empfehlen. Essen und Getränke sind sehr teuer.

приятная домашняя атмосфера, душевный персонал, уютный ресторан, ухоженная зеленая территория, а главное, чудесный вид на море! общее ощущение - как на даче у хороших друзей, где все можно и ты никому не в тягость. мы были не самыми беспроблемными гостями - приехали с тремя собаками, вставали ни свет ни заря, чтобы успеть в очередной город на очередную выставку (и нас каждый вечер спрашивали, когда мы хотим позавтракать, и в любую рань накрывали для нас стол и готовили вкусный капучино - спасибо, влади!), и возвращались затемно (и нас дожидались, чтобы поздравить с успехами и накормить отличным ужином). и никто ни разу не сказал, что собаки могли бы вести себя потише и что кухне не положено работать ни в 5 утра, ни в 10 вечера... это не про отель, это про то, как до него добираться. упражнение не для слабонервных! ни здесь на букинге, ни на сайте отеля (но это-то понятно, для лигурийца езда по горным дорогам проблемы не составляет) не было ни намека на то, как трудно с непривычки преодолеть несколько километров по узкому серпантину, где справа обрыв, все повороты закрытые и со встречной машиной разъехаться почти нереально, даже если ты успел заметить ее в зеркало, висящее на скале... нам это упражнение приходилось проделывать ежедневно, утром вниз, вечером наверх, и каждый раз это был хороший стресс, особенно учитывая, что машина была не "родная", а арендованная. поэтому останавливаться в "ла ризерва" я бы с чистой совестью посоветовала только тем, кто либо на 100% уверен в своих водительских навыках, либо собирается отдыхать именно здесь, а не активно кататься по окрестностям, либо не ездит за рулем вообще, а пользуется услугами такси.

Das schon etwas in die Jahre gekommene Hotel, seid Generationen in Familienbesitz, hat durchaus Charme – und eine fantastische Aussicht in ruhiger Lage. Das Morgenbüffet lässt kaum Wünsche offen, die Leute waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Den Pool konnten wir nicht geniessen, dazu war es noch zu kalt. Schöne Begrünung um das Haus. Die steile Anfahrt über eine enge Strasse auf einen Anhöhe oberhalb Ventimiglia Alta könnte Besucher aus Belgien Alptäume bescheren;)

Bonjour Si cet hôtel est tout à fait agréable... ...j'aurais souhaité savoir par avance qu'une des deux routes y conduisant est dangereuse car trés abrupte. J'aurais évité de la prendre ! et c'est la seule indiquée par mon GPS!

Excellent hotel place sur un site exceptionnelle ideal pour les amoureux, La vue a 360 degres est vraiment un atout quand a l hotel tout est comparable a un palace la seule chose qui nous a deplus ce sont les tableaux dans les couloirs . un peu trop triste a notre gout Nous y retournerons avec un grand plaisir

Die tolle Lage, die Größe des Hotels, Terasse mit Pool. Sehr gutes Abendessen. Frühstück könnte für diese Kategorie etwas umfangreicher sein. Obwohl das Hotel bei unserem Aufenthalt nur ca. Zu 20 % ausgebucht war, war es nicht möglich, auch über Booking-Com die Zimmerbuchung zu reduzieren. Anstatt mit 5 Personen reisten wir mit 4 Personen an. Da sollte es möglich sein, die Auswahl der zuerst bestellten Zimmer zu verändern.

L'accueil des propriétaires tres chaleureux, leur disponibité pour renseigner sur tout sujet. La qualité de service du personnel. La qualité des repas et petits dejeuners. La situation geographique de l'hotel avec vue panoramique exceptionnelle, tres calme et reposant. La qualité de l'amenagement de l'hotel interieur et exterieur. L'accés par la route depuis Vintimille, tres 'surprenante'.

Nous avons aimé l,accueil,le personnel du restaurant très serviable,le cachet et la vue depuis La Riserva,la proximité de ville comme Monte Carlo Monaco tout cela est appréciable Le manque d,isolation du a l,age de l,établissement bien sur, mais certaines personnes qui ne s,en rendent pas comptes prennent des bains a minuit et mettent les bulles et là vaut mieux mettre des bouchons dans les oreilles, mais ma foi on ne peu pas tout avoir
