The bed was so comfy. The room had a magnificent view of the sea and the edge of the town with over hanging red bougainvillea. The complimentary bottle of red wine was an added bonus while we watched the sunset. An excellent choice as it was easy to find and a bit away from the noise, but still within walking distance of everything.
We like it all.
breakfast on the verandah by the ocean was sublime
our driver organised by the hotel left us stranded at Naples Train Station for two and a half hours. They were unsympathetic, blamed the limo company or perhaps us but never owned the problem, stood up for us or sympathised
Excellent service. Great breakfast on the balcony.
Bed too hard for a good nights sleep
Great staff and service, great location…
Hotel signage wasn't good..
Small family run hotel. Away from the bustle of the main town and very comfortable. Family very helpful and hospitable .We loved it.
Great location, lovely friendly staff and so helpful, rooms so clean and lovely bed linen. Breakfast delivered to room to eat on balcony with great views. Real value for money.
Nothing not like
The views, breakfast at room. It is near the bus station.
The stairs to reach the hotel. Thanks god we have only carry-on and there is no one to help you.
Clean simplicity of hotel. Courtesy of staff. Convenient, quiet location. Lovely breakfast on the balcony. Nice but not fabulous view of the water.
All mattresses and pillow in Italy are too hard for us soft Americans
Quiet convenient location. Lovely and cool retreat. Enjoy best of Positano without being caught in the tourist glitz of Spiaggia Grande Wonderful private balcony to have breakfast, enjoy sea view from Praiano to Torre de Fornillo to and sunbake if you did not want to walk down the steps to Spiaggia Fornillo
The place is run extremely well by what are probably family members. Very clean and quiet with nice towels, furnishings and accessories. A decent continental breakfast brought to your balcony each day, is a real treat.
A little tough to get the bags there but porters are available.
Location Scenery Friendliness of staff Breakfast
Simply beautiful rooms with balcony overlooking the sea Breakfast served every morning on private balcony Friendly helpfull staff really go the extra mile.
There are some stairs to this property but it's part of the fun
Great staff - nice and clean- comfortable bed
On the OUTDOOR porch ant's ant's and more ant's...It made sitting on the outside porch not so pleasant. If they can control that the place would be a perfect 10
Great location, room was clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Breakfast on the balcony was really nice.
Breakfast on the balcony is delightful - simple but very tasty. The view - wonderful! The staff is very welcoming and helpfull, with lots of smiles and happy faces. The property is situated closer to spiaggia Fornilo, which is the more quiet beach than the central one.
The property should provide a more detailed map on how to reach them.
Breakfast at Balcony is cool! close to the restaurants.. good sea view rooms...
wrong content of breakfast service... car park not close to the hotel but there is Positano and it's understandable
Great place in a great location
Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Having breakfast overlooking the ocean was the perfect way to start the day. Room is very spacious and fresh, clean and comfortable.
Friendly helpful staff in spotless family run hotel with spacious room with knockout view A little away from port and beach but plenty of great restaurants nearby
Breakfast a little plain and after six nights was very monotonous but view from balcony made up for it.
As a girl travelling alone - I was made to feel very welcomed by the staff. They were easily approachable to ask any questions I had. Breakfast on the balcony brought to your room was a highlight with a beautiful view.
I loved the view, the quiet location, the nicely appointed room, and the large balcony. I emailed the day before because my friends were leaving Positano so I was changing locations and asked if I could drop my luggage early. They answered immediately and were ready for me in the morning and even had my room ready (at 9am no less!). Down Via Fornillo about 50 steps (they carried luggage back up for me in the morning), but I loved being right above Fornillo beach, my favorite. (405 steps down to Fornillo beach) Just so you know, via Fornillo is not a street, but a cool path of steps with many villas, homes, hotels, and B & B's along the way down.
While close to a few good restaurants, just make sure you realize its a 10-20 minute walk down and back up from the waterfront. I usually went up the 50 steps and walked down along the main street-lots of shops, a convenient little grocery, and lots of restaurants on the way down.
The location and the staff.
Electric cable directly in front of our view and the cement roof parly blocking our view.
Homely, friendly & excellent central Positano location. Could not be better
It was quite isolated from other things. Shopping was a 45 minute bus-ride into the town of Amalfi. It takes steps and hills to get anywhere. Don't go if you new stroller or wheelchair access
Everything!! The view from our balcony was breathtaking!! Morning breakfasts on the balcony were delightful. The entire family were so happy and helpful. And the shower was fantastic! And location, location, location!!
Nothing to dislike.
