A great little hotel just steps away from the Ponte Vecchio. The rooftop restaurant has delicious food with at great view of Florence.
There are lots of stairs which may be a problem for some people.
Amazing views across the city. Lots of steps throughout the hotel so it keeps you fit. Superb location. Very helpful staff. We stayed 1 night in a 3 bed room. Nice and sunny in October.
Very small lift!
Location is good, near Ponte Vecchio. Museums, restaurants, shops in close proximity. Nice old building with lovely terrace on top, with nice view over Florence in general plus Santa Maria del Fiore. Hotel seems to be refurbished not long ago.
Water was barely warm most of the time. But we didn't contact the presonnel of hotel regarding this problem before departure. So can't say honestly how they would handle it. Sleeping quality: doors are very thin. Used earplugs. But still was difficult to sleep when the hall/other rooms close were cleaned. Reception is situated on the last floor and not downstairs as usual. A little disadvantage.
Wonderful Location Great Breakfast for 10eu
To many stairs - up and down Very hard to find. You have to go through the LTZ to get there and one way streets are difficult.
Modern yet quaint hotel situated walking distance from the main attractions and restaurants. Clean comfortable rooms. Amazing views from rooftop bar. Great food at the restaurant!! Should have eaten there every night! Friendly, helpful staff.
The location is wonderful - in the Altrarno, and nice and quiet at night. Easy walk to almost everything. The family suite was perfect for our family of 5, nice large bathrooms.
Well located near the river, easy walk to everything. Staff are great and helpful, happy to assist. The roof top restaurant is the best view of the city.
Not much, Weak wifi. Wish we had more time.
The Blue Room was wonderful. Plenty of room. Comfortable bed. Facing inner courtyard so no street noise at all. Located on the ground floor made it convenient. Shower was fantastic and lots of variety!
Staff very helpful. Was particularly usefull that they reserved a time for us to go to the Uffizi Gallery in advance thus avoiding queues. Our room had seperate entrance with 1 flight stairs up.Excellent location for all places of interest.
Was quite hard to find our way around hotel.Reception and Breakfast 5 floors up from ground. on 1 day was no hot water in jacuzzi as next room was occupied.
Enjoyed to feel of the hotel overall, Great location with easy access to everything. Would stay there again and recommend it to other travellers.
Didn't like the fact that the entrance of the hotel isn't where the address states it is. A bit hard to find. Lots of stairs and very small elevator. But guess that's part of the charm...
Convenience and location were superb - close to Pitti Palace and 2 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The roof top restaurant has a spectacular view of the Duomo and city.
The room was two flights of stairs below the reception with no elevator nor other route out - concerns regarding fire escapes
The room set up was unusual, but worked very well. Having a USB port was a nice surprise! Why doesn't everyone do this. Nice big shower with good pressure. If you go, be sure to take in the view from the rooftop bar and the even higher terrace, especially at night! Staff was exceptionally helpful.
The Location and the Staff was very good
Too many stairs
Perfectly located near downtown but without being in the most crowded and noisy areas. The breakfast room, in warn seasons, is great with a fantastic view on the city.
Il prezzo è un pò alto, anche con lo sconto di Booking.com, visto la dimensione della stanza ed i servizi.
The staff were warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable, there were three of us and we enjoyed our stay very much. We were so close to Ponte Vecchio and easy walking distance to great shopping. Highly recommend a stay here.
The lift was extremely small so we needed to send luggage up with one person and the other two had to use the stairs.
Located just at the end of ponta vecchio. loved the terrace and had a glass of wine every evening enjoying the beautiful view of Florence. Did not have the break fast or any dinners there. Close to great restaurants in San Spitito Plaza
The location and the view from the rooftop lounge.
The size of the lift.
Amazing location . Loved every bit of stay
The elevator holds one person and one piece of luggage. What fun! Isn't that why we travel? Great rooftop restaurant. Professional, trained staff.
Stairs, of course are everywhere. With the small elevator and multi levels to get down to street level, there was often a small wait for the lift.
The hotel has an excellent location and a good adaptation of an historic building. Staff very helpful in providing information and services. Breakfast is a good value compared to prices in the caffes. We were impressed by the hotel's energy conservation efforts. Overall a goid value in Florence.
Nice place to stay.
It is like we are in the maze to find a room as it is an old building, but funny.
The location and the beautiful enormous bathroom. The tub with jets was lovely.
From 7 am to 11 pm there was noise directly above our room. #27. Not sure what exactly. Sounded like either thunder, fireworks, herd of elephants... probably children. Also a fire detector battery was low (I assume) and there was regular beeping all night long.
This hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing in Florence . Friendly staff , clean and comfortable.
unsuitable for infirm / disabled. The hotel is in a very old building with reception on the 3rd floor, via a 2 person lift . roof terrace also only accessible via stairs.
The location is awesome.
Nothing bad to say about this hotel .
The terrace where breakfast was served has a stunning view of Florence's jewels, and the location of the hotel just south of the Ponte Vecchio was really nice.
The rooms were decent sized, clean and comfortable but I felt like for the price we paid we could have had a slightly more luxurious accommodations -- a bath tub, nicer soap, robes, etc.
