Score from 110 reviews Excellent
The hotel and its open areas, the fantastic views and surroundings, the delicious breakfast on the terrace, the loveley staff, the location... I could go on and on on great things about this hotel
The parking facility, but I understand its impossible to get to the hotel in our own car.
Loved the place. Nice, friendly, cool factor comfortable
Too hard beds Any noise from the corridor slips pass through the door No Aircon
The room with space and view. The interior decor was excellent. Every breakfast was a delight.
I had expected spa facilities open to everyone who is staying at this hotel, because of the hotel name, but actually only some rooms had spa facilities inside.
We had a suite which was excellent . Restaurant very good. Staff very helpful.
Wi fi not good
Location Ambience Food Staff It really was a perfect hotel
It was impossible to fault
Not good value for money. In fact, very over rated. The spa is just one room, no relaxing area or plunge pool (the brochure needs to be updated). Staff are professional but impersonal. We would not stay here again.
Beautiful and quirky design- rooms very individual. Great location within beautiful ostunia
Lack of facilities for a so called 5 star hotel - no gym or pool and spa out of action during our stay. I wouldn't really class it as 5 star, more a boutique 4 star. Staff helpful but not particularly friendly. Breakfast OK but not great.
Restaurant food and service was outstanding. We would certainly return for dinner, but would probably stay somewhere else.
We had no hot water at all in our bathroom on the evening we arrived and barely any the following morning. Our bedside phone didn't work either and after going down to reception several times to explain we would like at least a lukewarm shower before dinner, we had neither a solution or even an apology. This is not what we would expect at a hotel charging the prices it does.
Doesn't have a swimming pool
Tout était parfait. On ne peut demander mieux.
The breakfast in the garden was excellent It was very peaceful
We were sad to see that the small plunge pool was filled in and not available One day our room had not been cleaned and we had returned early evening and the cleaner came to do the room whilst we were getting ready which was annoying.
Wifi was terrible, it is unacceptable to have to login every 5 min with a username and password impossible to remember. The signal was also very poor in the room...
Everything, we stayed in Room 3 and it was amazing. Staff is excellent.
Nothing, it was perfect
The location is unique with an astonishing view on the bay. The design of the room is excellent.
Advice from the staff to organize activities could be improved
Being picked up from somewhere in town &being taken up to the hotel in the piaggio ape. Food - gorgeous & only 65 euros for the taster menu in the michelin starred restaurant . Relaxing on the loungers drinking g&t eating the accompanying nibbles !
I thought there was a pool , which has obviously been filled in ..however we didn't miss it .
Loved the rooms, amazing views and great food in restuarant.
Wifi was poor...
Loved location Room #1 was ample Staff helpful Nice breakfast
Poor wifi connection Few choices at restaurant for dinner
The airconditioning was not working in our room (which was with no proper window)-despite our several complains to 3 different persons at the reception nothing was done and they did not care much. It was not almost unbreathable and we had to sleep with the door of our room open and the door to the outside terrasse open to get a bit of air - and we were in May! The restaurant was disappointing (no real taste of Italian cuisine) - does not deserve one star. Decoration is nice but overall disappointing.
In the middle of wonderful historic Ostuni yet away of the crowds and noise. Beautiful setting in old stone houses overlooking the valley and some of the town. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and bathroom. Large and nice room. Lot of corners (inside and outside) to sit, lie and/or relax.
We missed a window or a way of getting fresh air in our grotto. Wifi in the room did not work at all and no wire or alternative could be made to work
Location, view, meals, staff - all excellent!
Amazing view from room. The breakfast room was lovely. The terrace was very relaxing. The room itself was fantastic.
We had to wait 50 minutes for someone to meet us to show us the car park ...Even though it was five minutes from where we were parked. Not a good first impression!! After this all was brilliant.
We liked the location. The architecture of the hotel, the quietness, the staff, the service and most of all the Food. Excellent gourmet food prepared by 1 Michelin star cook Sebastian. We have been to several 1 michelin star restaurant but Sebastian topped them all. And wonderful personality as well. Well done! We are looking forward already to our next trip to la Sommita Relais
Best hotel I've ever stayed in!
Nothing. It was perfect.
Round nomerous corners on the top of Centro Storico you will find the hotel. From the beginning to the end of the stay of 4 nights you were treated royaly. Individual decorated room, vaulted sandstone ceilings and cleverly designed bathroom. Parking is at the fot of the village and the hotel offers a very efficient and reliable shuttle sevice.
One draw back shared with the majority of hotels is the locaton of the safe. One has to kneel every time
It is simply lovely, light, airy & very comfortable..
The attractive bed platform protrudes at least 12" & I tripped on it in the middle of the night. Fortunately, I was able to regain my balance, but it could be dangerous.
