Beautiful Villa Ambrosina is in a hilltop location south of Florence, one mile from the Firenze Impruneta exit on the A1 highway. You will appreciate the panorama and quiet surroundings.

Kind and generous hosts! Nice to be a little away from tourist spots and easily walkable to all sites.
Very cosy b&b, we loved listening to opera during breakfast. :) The accommodation is easy to approach by car, but still pretty close to the historical center. The hosts are super friendly and helpful with finding your way around.
The walls are a bit thin so be prepared to wake up with other (noisy) guests.
I came to Firenze on business. The location was convenient, within 200m. The landlady was very helpful and friendly. The place is on port romana and is close to bus stops. the city centre is a 20 minute walk away. ponte vecchio is about 10 minutes and there is a good choice of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk
My husband and I enjoyed 10 days here, lovely hosts, very quiet, easy walk into Florence.
There was nothing to dislike.
We had such a good time with Barbara and Luigi. Their home is like an art gallery, and artists should be right at home here. Love to you both from London! J & K x x
Everything was great, the host, room, terrace, location, touristic bus stop 100m. Forget 5stars hotels, this kind of B&B gives you the home feeling and personal care, the owners will care about you personaly way. Recomendations: 1/ use the Segways in front of Pallazo Pitti, you will see the nice corners of Firenze 2/ 200 from the B&B is Pizzeria Antica Porta. Excelent Tuscany Food and great Pizza.
the house owner was very warmhearted to show us the map, restraurant, transportation.... the decoration was the style i like, with many paintings, beautiful balcony for breakfast, really nice stay.
The room was spaceful and the hotel had a great sense of style and aristocrasy! The most significant apart from the owners was the beautiful terrace! Great memory!
Nice to stay somewhere thats not a big hotel chain. Friendly, and very helpful service Nothing too much trouble and really attentive Great place Aircon...33 degrees outside Impressive outside door ;o) Nice breakfast
What lovely people host this hidden gem, located in the better part of Florence. We really enjoyed the 3 nights we have spend here. Especially the vinyl records played during breakfast, with original Italian music from singers like Mina. Next to that we followed up on all tips we got and never were disappointed. We highly recommend staying at La Terrazza
Purely from a 'standard tourist' point of view, the 25 minute walk into the touristy part of town was slightly too long. If you want to get to know the 'real city of Florence' don't hesitate to book a room here
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, great selection of breakfast, the room was large and comfortable, good area, we walked to the central tourist area in about 15 minutes although you could take a bus there too, I highly recommend. They also allowed me to hang around in the lounge after check out as my flight wasn't until the afternoon which I really appreciated.
Like your home on the road. Simply perfect for body and soul.
In a historical building, so sophisticated, quite and elegant apartment. Feels really like the guests of the owners since it's their house.
Barbara and Luigi made our stay extremely enjoyable. They were very helpful with suggestions of places to go and were very warm and inviting. Their lovely home was very close to everything. Loved our stay there:-)
Barbara and Luigi delightful and very helpful - felt very much at home - unique family run hotel - good location in quiet area - balcony/terrace seating area after day out welcome - definitely recommend to try - won't be disappointed.
-The managers of La Terraza Su Boboli are incredibly warm and accommodating. They'll go out of their way to help you, call a taxi or set up breakfast early. -Facilities: very cozy, spacious and clean. Love the decor, particularly the photos from Nepal! -Location: Not located in the heart of Florence's touristy parts, but this bed & breakfast is still very accessible by bus and placed in a safe area. Located right next to some very famous gardens in Florence. -Breakfast buffet has a nice array of options for even the pickiest of eaters. -All in all: I highly recommend staying at La Terraza Su Boboli for your next trip to Florence!
-Not too many affordable restaurants nearby, and the ones that were there close inconveniently early. -The managers don't speak a ton of English, but with patience, you'll be able to communicate well enough to get directions and ask questions.
Loved the feel of the apartment, with high ceilings, bright and airy atmosphere, and lovely balcony - and lots of books. Trees and historic city gate as view from bedroom window also lovely. Barbara and Luigi very warm and welcoming and helpful
Barbara and Luigi were great hosts. They go out of their way to be hospitable to their guests. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the morning eating a wonderful breakfast, and in the evening with a glass of wine, talking to the other guests. The room was spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned, and had a beautiful painted high ceiling. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very nice. All in all, a great and memorable stay.
The location was a bit of a walk in the heat, but doable. The Bed and Breakfast occupies part of a floor of a large building, and the entrance to the building and stairs up to the Bed and Breakfast could have been nicer, but once you enter the Bed and Breakfast, it is all very nice.
Barbara and Luigi, were our hosts with the mostest! Very welcoming couple. Room with got was number 5, huge space with high ceilings and clean modern bath! Location right next door to Boboli Gardens which cost €10 to enter. Walking to Ponte Vecchio only takes 15 minutes.
nice location, friendly staff! good but simple breakfast!
Parking is little bit far -60 eur for 3 nts
Barbara and Luigi were wonderful hosts, we were made to feel very welcome. They are both very warm and lovely people. During our stay they gave us lots of helpful advice and information. Our room was lovely, breakfast excellent and they always found time to sit and chat with us. We really did enjoy our time there! I would fully recommend anyone visiting Florence to stay with Barbara & Luigi in their beautiful home.
Very friendly couple staff, good breakfast, clean facilities, which mean great value for money.
All good for me.
Good location, nice breakfast, and peaceful accommodations with a nice outdoor terrace. Barbara and Luigi are welcoming and solicitous. You are just outside the Boboli Garden. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio (depending on how distracted you are by the shops along the way) or you can take a bus. Altogether, this was a very comfortable accommodation.
Barbara and luigi were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. We were even provided breakfast "to go" when we had an early excursion. The room was spacious, clean and well kept. There was a huge variety of food choices for breakfast, which we looked forward to daily. The hotel was right off a main bus line, only ten minutes from train station.
Everything was perfect.
