The Royal Continental is right on Naples' seafront promenade, in a quiet neighborhood. It features a stunning rooftop pool, with panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo.
Score from 1787 reviews Very good
Grand Hotel Riviera is on a cliff top looking out over the Gulf of Naples. Take the elevator down to its secluded private beach or swim in panoramic pools.
Score from 82 reviews Wonderful
Right across from Sorrento Harbour, the Marina Piccola 73 is just 215 yards from Sorrento’s main square Piazza Tasso. The rooms are elegant and decorated with pastel colors. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Ensure you make this a stop on your travel plans, you wont be disappointed!!
Beautiful view of harbor from lovely terraces. Lovely accommodations and quality breakfast.
Long, long way down to the beach (elevator through rock) but the view from top is what it is all about.
We loved the view from our balcony which was immediately outside our room.It was well worth paying the extra to have this type of accommodation.
The noise of the plumbing system during the night i.e when using the toilet .It was also quite noisy when residents were moving around and slamming doors.
Loved the bath, views, breakfast and nice private beach with a lift!
Great location on the hill peak with unforgettable view. This is the quite place with it's own beach and clear sea between the rocks. The best place to get rest and relax after noisy big cities. With the excellent stuff you can feel yourself here like at home. Thanks to stuff for hospitality. Best regards to Christine for attention and help! This is our second time here but not the last.
This hotel hangs over a cliff and has spectacular views! Our room was, we were told, the nicest in the hotel, so our judgment may be skewed, but this was truly a remarkable place in terms of views, comfort and privacy. The outdoor shower was a treat. I have to say that the place could use a decor overhaul— natural canvas slipcovers over all of the chairs would update the place in short order. The daybed on the terrace needs a new mattress and should be hosed down from time to time. Still, what a lovely visit we had! True elegance that is rare these days!
Facilities need to be updated, especially beds. Not say it is very poor. Just feel not deserve paying that much.
We spent two nights in this hotel during our 10-day vacation in Italy, which turned out to be the right decision. This hotel offers you a panoramic view of Sorrento coast line and is on the perfect location to reach the town. The restaurant is excellent and suitable for Michelin Awards. The lobby is quite relaxing in the morning. Service-minded staffs are quite impressive.
Room with a fantastic terrace made our stay very special. Also a bonus being just a bit out of town center. Everything can be reached by a not too long and interesting walk. Marina Grande is a great place for dinner or a stroll for a bit of change from the busiest part of Sorrento. Highly recommend the hotel.
The views from anywhere on the property are incredible. We took wine and a quick bite on the terrace to soak it in. View from our room was incredible. View from balcony overlooking the bay for dinner was fantastic. La Tonnarella is quiet and peaceful, which is very important to me. It is situated on a high point above Sorrento. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We greatly enjoyed our time here.
The decor was not my preferred style. Too much blue and gold tile for me. But with the views, and the sea air I really didn't care.
The staff were outstanding. The receptionist was so helpful and answered all our questions enthusiastically. The waiter in the dining room at dinner and at breakfast was charming.
location, friendly staff
The view was great. We had a room with a balcony.
The bed was not very comfortable.
Friendly helpful staff. Stunning views of the bay. Interesting private beach. Good breakfast.
Our room didn't have a view, even though we had requested one. However it did have a good terrace, but close to the road.
From the moment we arrived Luigi took our car & our holiday began. Lovely friendly staff at breakfast & down on the private beach. Nothing was too much for the staff to do for you.
Balcony type windows looked out upon other verandas, so it was not very private for all concerned.
Beautiful views, friendly staff
Walls were "thin". Heard people in other rooms
Old villa in desperate need for renovations. Water sipped into the room after it rained. We got a lame excuse.
View Location Beach Parking Big Rooms Romantic
Didn't replace towels next day. There are no queen/king beds. Instead there are two single beds joined together.
Our a suite of rooms had 2 balconies with stunning views. Two bathrooms, one of which had a jacuzzi with a view over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples! Surreal. We had our own private garden with sunbeds.Staff were friendly and helpful.Food was good.Public areas of hotel tasteful and full of character. Quiet and relaxing hotel.
Would have liked beach towels to be provided.
Views, room and balcony excellent
Beach, rocks, cost of beach chair hire
The view from the hotel and the cleanliness is great. Also, short walking distance to the old town centre, touristic area. Breakfast is really good for Italian standards. Excellent but expensive restaurant. Very quiet area despite close to street.
- No view from room - Beds only 1.9m x 0.7m - Terrace not served - Beach is dirty, with broken glass - Beach towels and sunbeds need to be paid extra - Parking is very limited and way to hotel very narrow -Overpriced, overrated
This hotel has an excellent location and the view from our room was stunning! The breakfast was good with many options.
The wi-Fi strength was poor. The carpets could have used a good cleaning. The shower head was at knee height and was not very strong.
Amazing location, wonderful smallish family-run hotel. A real treat.
The room, the decor, the view!!! Everything was amazing! Great place to stay!
