Hotel La Torre  

The willing and helpful proprietor got our stay off to a very good start. We were provided with a car park slot 20m from the hotel. Whilst there is only a b/fast room, the recommendation of a local restaurant was first rate. We hope we can return to this wonderful location in the near future.

Great, great location. But that's about it. The staff is very friendly -- until you need or want something. If you want to stay right in the middle of a midieival village - this could be it. But check out the other hotels, too. Staff made great restaurant referral. Room on the front street was nice since I could open windows and listen to lilting Italian down below.

Room was quite dusty; bathroom very worn out - including old discolored plastic drinking cup (really; disposable cups are easy). Breakfast was served in a small room on pre-packaged trays -- I've stayed in much less expensive Italian hotels with much better breakfasts. When I asked for a hard boiled egg, they responded that I would have to order that a day in advance. When I asked why their prices listed on the back of the door were lower than Booking.com, they said they had to have higher rates for online, since they have to pay -- "sorry, that's how you booked it." More, when I had to leave past the checkout time, they were downright rude in basically chasing me out of the room - claiming they needed it immediatley for another guest. Long story short: I ended up leaving some items in the room and had to drive more than 100 k the next day to get then. The room had been empty; there had been no need to rush me. No apology. When I asked to use their bathroom before getting back on the road, they begrudingly agreed. Also, no views of lake.

Great location inside medieval castle-like town, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Nice spacious rooms overlooking romantic little streets.

La Torre is a nice hotel. Located just on middle of a pedestrian area/street. The surroundings is safe and relaxed. Even at the midnight there is families with a small children there around. The stuff is helpful and kind. Breakfast looks good on the table, however consist mainly sweet things and we did skip it. There is a stair to climb in the hotel until you reach your room (same to go down to the breakfast room, which could accept 8 people at a time, only). Good place to stay for day or two. There is a restorant nearby - Mona Lisa, which offers good Italian food.

Parking is nearby, not at the hotel. Only an issue if you are not able to walk far. We did not have a problem with this.

It is close to Mona Lisa restaurant that is highly rated. It is an excellent restaurant. Must not be missed if in the area which is beautiful. Highly recommend a visit.

The poor attitude of manager. Rarely do we encouter someone who really should not be in hospitaly. Spooky our stay.

Right in the centre of the historic old town. Really beautiful.

Consiglio caldamente questo piccolo Hotel, i proprietari, fratello e sorella, sono di una cordialità di altri tempi, l'Hotel è in pieno centro di Castiglione quindi comodissimo, il parcheggio è pubblico, gratuito a neanche 100 mt ma sicuro e tranquillo, l'albergo ha tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno di relax o di lavoro.

Il soggiorno presso l'Hotel La Torre è stato molto piacevole. Il personale cordiale e disponibile a dare informazioni rispetto al luogo e alle zone limitrofe. Buona la posizione rispetto ai paesi vicini, a meno di un'ora di macchina da Perugia. L'albergo è nel centro del borgo, zona pedonale ma i parcheggi liberi sono molto vicini e gratuiti. Zona molto tranquilla.

Personale molto gentile

Ho soggiornato per una notte all'Hotel La Torre con la mia famiglia in una camera quadrupla ampia, pulita e silenziosa. Colazione abbondante (anche troppo) e proprietario cortese e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione. Posizione centralissima in area ztl con possibilità di scarico/carico bagagli attraverso autorizzazione temporanea fornita dall'Hotel.

L'hotel è davvero molto carino, il personale è delizioso, gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. La posizione vicino al lago merita veramente di far visitare questo posto incantevole. La colazione poi è squisita, preparata con cura e amore. Insomma lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!

Troppo piccola la sala breakfast

Freundlicher Empfang. Reichhaltiges Frühstücks-Buffet mit aufmerksamer Bedienung.

Tutto ottimo, camere spaziose e pulitissime, personale gentile e colazione veramente buona. Da provare anche per la bellezza del paese e dei dintorni. Ci torneremo.

Staff, pulizia e confort.

L'albergo e' nel centro storico di castiglione, e' possibile parcheggiare gratuitamente nelle vicinanze. Lo staff si distingue per spirito di accoglienza, cortesia e cordialita'. Le camere sono pulite e ampie. E al mattino vi aspetta una ricca e buonissima colazione oltre ad una piacevole chiacchierata con Roberto.

La tranquillità e la possibilità di girare tra varie località vicine tutte ricche di storia, natura e...buona cucina!
