Hotel La Venere  

Location is good. Room was clean although very small. Breakfast above average.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable with springs poking you in the back. Room full of mosquitos, shower blocked and flooded. Room very noisy as it is close to reception. Previous reviews by other travellers left me somewhat let down when I arrived at the hotel.

The location is great just a 2 minutes walk from The Duomo.

The hotel is really old and they really need to change their dirty bed covering with a quilt. The breakfast is OK when compared with the price but do not have high expectations.

Location: 600 m from the Duomo. Good breakfast; fresh eggs and even the German rye bread. Friendly staff.

Close to the city centre and railway station SMN, nice design (girls will like it), nice staff

The bathrooms are quite compact and the breakfast is not airconditioned

Hotel's location is great, in 2 minutes you are at the Duomo. Personnel is friendly and they did their best to accommodate our wishes.

Hotel room is very small and cramped, but as we were mainly out visiting Florence we did not mind this very much. The bed however was very bad and we could not really sleep well, even after long days of visiting sites in Florence... The hotel has a very good value for the money however, and it is so ideally located that we did not mind the size of the room and the quality of bed.

elevator toilet in the room was bad (water doesnt go easily when showering...)

Very nice small hotel, occupying one floor of the period building, close to the city center (just a couple of minutes walk to the Dome). Helpful reception, rooms recently renovated and quite charming. Welcoming water and some cookies provided.

A 300 mètres du Duomo, seul avantage de l'hotel

Malgré un prix raisonable, la chambre triple qui nous a été accordée était très petite, environ 20 mètres carrés avec une salle de bain de 4 mètres carrés, très humide, sentant le moisi, le chauffage était stoppé depuis fin mars et il faisait plus chaud dehors ! La déco n'était pas florentine mais de chez ikéa 1999... Les serviettes de bain étaient des draps en tissus simple, et non pas éponge, le petit déjeuner était plutôt limite ! a éviter !

Excelente la decoracion interior, muy calido, confortable y cerca de todo! El desayuno es super completo, la atencion muy buena y el personal muy amable. Lo recomiendo sobre todo por la cercania a los principales lugares de interes de Florencia! Supero las expecativas!

Ninguna, todo mas que acorde al precio pagado!

The hotel was very recently rennovated so everything was fantastic. The furniture, the bathroom etc were brand new. It is centrally located, 2 minutes walk from Duomo, Uffici gallery and so on. Very close to Santa Maria train station so our excursions to Pisa and Siena were a piece of cake!! The staff was friendly and helpfool.The breakfast was very nice. The walls, though were so thin you could hear everything.Thank god, we didn't bother because everyone was in bed by 11 o' clock and we could get some rest for the next day.Finally, great value for money!

Stanza piccola ma accogliente e pulita. Personale gentile. Insolito, per un tre stelle, il vassoio di benvenuto con acqua, cracker, biscotti e cioccolatini. Posizione centrale, molto comoda per raggiungere a piedi le principali attrazioni di Firenze.

Unica nota stonata il bagno troppo piccolo, ma per tre giorni ci si può adattare.
