La Villa Del Patrizio

A short walk to the train station for Rome and also into the wonderful ancient Roman remains of Ostia Antica. A cost-effective way of seeing Rome; manager/owner was friendly. Free wifi with a good signal. Good standard of cleanliness throughout.

The write-up on the website was almost totally a work of fiction. No hairdrier, no slippers, no minibar, no balcony. At least one of the photos published was clearly of the grill-restaurant next door, the rest misleading. In spite of being asked to reserve "private parking on site", the only parking was public, unreserved at the next-door cafe- bar. We had to park on the road on our last night there. It is not a hotel but a lodging house occupying the first floor of a building with a commercial bakery on the ground floor - hence machinery noise and loud talking from the small hours onward. It is situated on a dirty, litter- strewn road down which traffic hurtles, making the walk to the station an unpleasant experience. The locality is pretty horrible with scrap- metal yards and run-down developments.The room was inadequately furnished and the bathroom rather shambolic: hot water from a tank above the bath gave inadequate hot water for two adults to shower, which was difficult anyway given no shower curtain or screen on the bath. Some evidence of mouldy grouting on the tiles. The "attraction" of breakfast served in the room was because there was no dining space whatsoever in the house, except for a shabby patio outside the front door, overlooking roofs on two sides and the public dustbins and the scrap yard on the third. Breakfast arrived on a tray perched on a dusty bar stool - we had to sit on the bed to eat it given two low, uncomfortable garden chairs were the only other seats. The meal consisted of juice in plastic cups, coffee and 3 pastries to be shared between 2. a thoroughly disappointing and unpleasant experience.

Max and Barbara were wonderful, friendly and helpful,always ready with a smile.

Air conditioners were tempermental. Started fine, but shut off before the room was cool.

Good location. A 30 minute walk to the Tower. Decent continental breakfast. Good air conditioning.

Rooms are rustic but have all the amenities. Tv did not work. Weak WiFi.

That was the most horrible place I've ever been in Italy!

Close to airport

Breakfast is stingy, noise from bakery next door, road hotel is situated on is very busy with little facilities and much industry - this is not apparant from details

We chose the accomodation due to nearness to airport, 17 euros taxi to the hotel. Staff very helpful. Next day a short walk to the station and then into Rome.

Clear and large room.

Location and everything other.

Room was plain but clean.

While the hotel may have been only 500m from the train station as claimed, it could only be reached by walking on the shoulder of busy roads. The airport shuttle that is mentioned is just the local taxi service and is not included in the price. The price was too high for a simple room at a location that wasn't great.

Massima libertà con Max e posto gradevole. Colazione con ottimi cornetti caldi.

Simpatia del personale, veramente consiglio anche perché è vicino a Ostia antica, bel posto da visitare.

Cortesia dello staff, camera ampia , pulita e bagno privato. Profumi di pasticceria tutto il giorno e la notte.

Purtroppo il televisore nella stanza "a " faceva un rumore fastidioso anche con il volume a 0...... La connessione gratuita ad internet l'ultima sera del mio soggiorno non funzionava..comunque alla fine niente di grave.

Желающим остановиться в отеле следует сразу понять, что это крайне маленький "bed and breakfast", к тому расположен отель в промышленной зоне, прямо возле дороги и АЗС, и не имеет никакой своей территории. К тому же, в части "bed" сильно мешают звуки дороги и каких-то погрузочных работ, и запахи пекарни по соседству. Звукоизоляция очень слабая. Мебель старая и частично поломанная. Сантихника - самый минимум. От станции до отеля идти достаточно далеко и по обочине оживленной дороги. По завтраку вопросов нет - по-итальянски завтрак это кофе, сок и булочка, так и есть. Фотографии на сайте принадлежат какому-то фокуснику - это действительно то место, но реальность, открывающаяся взору гостя отеля, гораздо суровее. Это не подходящее место для продолжительной остановки путешественников.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, de kamers zijn uitgerust met Wfi en schoon. Naast het hotel is een 24 uurs bakkerij.

L'accueil, la propreté,et la bonne odeur de gâteau qui émane de la patisserie près de l'hôtel.

La pulizia e l'educazione dello staff sempre estremamente disponibile sono indubbiamente i punti di forza de la villa del Patrizio.

Ottimo Bed...

Большая, уютная комната, ванная тоже довольно большая. Есть ванна. Отличный капучино на завтрак. Есть терраса. Вокруг экзотические кактусы. Стоял бы отель на берегу моря, цены бы ему не было.

Ночью не спали: под нами круглосуточная кондитерская пекла, что-то там разгружали, привозили, увозили. На завтрак только сладкие плюшки.
