Excellent location Friendly and devoted staff
NOT VERRY CLEAN, SMALL ROMS
The hotel is well located for Colosseum, Palatino and Roman Ruins and easy access to public transport. It is on the 3rd floor but there is also a lift. It is not a luxury place but served my purpose which was somewhere to sleep and easy access to return during the day. Breakfast is basic but suited me fine. Was able to store my luggage.
WIFI didn't always work in the room but I could get in the lobby so no real biggie.
- The location of the hotel is excellent. - Rooms are big. - Staff was good and helping. - You have a big choice of breakfast and it was delicious.
- As the hotel is in the center of Rome - it is noisy. - The towels in the hotel are kinda bad. - The shower and the toilet was not so good (in my room).
Location Location Location Cool quiet interiors, " traditional" feel , clean and perfectly suited for what is - tourist base in heart of the ancient area of Rome. Its position on 3rd floor of a " real" building and behind a massive door straight off street does make it feel very " real and local "
Not a huge issue - but could be for some, room was straight off the reception area on entering - so every time someone came in the ( old traditional grocery shop style ) bell rung and would have woken us up...if we were not so tired from all that sightseeing.. Breakfast is traditional " sweet" breakfast - served on tray into your room . Given that not too keen on all that cake and sugar it would have been good to get a room only rate and grab a breakfast ourselves at the many local cafes instead.
location is great!! easy to go anywhere. especially for me, as a photographer, it's so convenient to take pictures for colosseo in early morning or at late night.
Location is perfect, great value for money. Room with all basic facilities of an hotel. Breakfast included. Wifi included (not availiable in every room but it was mentionned). What else would you need when paying this sort of price!
Not exactly an hotel (it could be mentionned).
Cheap and Cheerful. Right next to the colosseum
Cheap and Cheerful....
Excellent Location, nice atention and good price.
The staff were very friendly and so helpful. This hotel is a little gem when visiting Rome and location is great for using all public transport.
All services were excellent and couldn't be faulted for value for money and location.
Very good location, very good atmosphere in the room, nice breakfast
As far as location goes, Hotel Labelle was perfect. We were .4 miles from the coliseum as well we from it's metro stop. In the heart of the ruins, hotel labelle was perfect in location. Breakfast was included which was a nice touch, though it included mediocre coffee and a semi stale croissant. The hotel was very quiet which made it easy to sleep, since the outside was bustling with tourists. The bathroom was stocked with towels and soaps and the shower was very clean.
As advertised on the website, the desk staff was said to have spoken English. The desk was manned by one, who did not speak a word of English nor did he attempt to understand any of our questions or concerns. though this may be no fault of his, communication became very difficult anytime a question or concern arose from me or my two travel companions. There was also a vending machine in the "lobby" that would eat our change and never give us our waters. Small things, but they started to add up by the end of our stay. The wifi in the rooms was also nonexistent. Would recommend this accommodation for location and security only, but not for comfort or customer service, as those were minimal.
La ubicación cerca del coliseo muy buena
La cama tenía los resortes salidos
Good location and value for money
No internet connection for my daughter's phone
Good location, nice and very helpfull stuff, very convenient to have breakfast in the room ( you can adjust it to your own needs by buying extra food in the closest supermarket- opposite Santa Maria Maggiorne basilic , in the UPIM store-15 min walk). They let us leave the luggage after check-out time, also we allowed to print the tickets.
Some sockets didn t work-we couldn t use bedside lamps, the street was a bit noisy, but its Rome...
Staff was nice, breakfast included was ok. Super B location, just next to the colosseo!
Most of the staff has troubles to speak any other language than italian
The place is a walking distance to most of the tourist attraction of rome like the colosseum.
The Hotel was in a fantastically convenient location for sightseeing, with loads of really great local restaurants in the backstreets nearby. Also its walkable from Termini station, straight down the Via Cavour. The Manageress was really friendly with good English. Our bedroom was quite basic but it was clean with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable.
The location is extremly noisy. The first night, we had a room backing onto the back street behind the hotel where there is a bar opposite the building, and there were large groups of people laughing and talking loudly outside till 5am. We then moved rooms, but this was to the front of the hotel looking out onto Via Cavour which is a busy main road, where we had traffic noise all night! So in three days we got very little sleep. Also there was no hot water in the bathroom on the third morning, so we had to have freezing cold showers.
Hello, We stayed in hotel Labelle with my boyfriend for 3 nights. Beautiful place, spacious room, very high ceilings, we could see few historical buildings right from the window. Room was warm with a big bed. Location is absolutely amazing. Colosseo around the corner, we literally walked everywhere (even returned from Vatican by foot ). Breakfast was brought into the room on your selected time. We really enjoyed to stay there. If I go to Rome again I'll stay there again.
Pillows were not too soft. Street is a little bit noisy bit it's not too horrible since hotel is on 3rd floor.
Excellent location near the old city center and all commerce.
Very little to eat for breakfast.
very good location, nothing else of positive to say Only beauty of Roma and going out could calm my state of mind after these terribly noisy nights
very noisy!!!! impossible to sleep, roads one side, pub another side stranger service of breakfast, why booking com did not inform that breakfast is prepared in very strange conditions by staff and brought dircetly to the room, Was it real breakfast and coffee, well, I would not say that for the price I paid
Breakfast was perfect and great coffee. Staff was very accommodating.
