Score from 41 reviews Wonderful
The location is brilliant, very central without being on a main road. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. The people are wonderful. We will definitely be going back.
The room and beds were very comfortable and we had a quiet night's sleep. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard, reading and writing. There is a washing machine that we REALLY appreciated using. Kitchen facilities were minimal but fine. Good restaurants an wine bars very close. T'was several blocks and across the river to get to the Tower, but we enjoy walking, and sight-seeing along the way!
Very good location and very nice stuff. Comfortable clean rooms and nice garden. Nearby you can buy everything necessary for breakfast and the kitchen is well equiped, free tea and coffee :) so it's no problem. Nice bars and restaurants not far away! 5-10min walk from the central station and around the same distance to the tower! Worth a stay!
The owners were wonderful and also went out of their way to help us. Location is great with only a few minutes walk to the train station and a lovely walk to the leaning tower. Overall the B&B was very clean and it almost felt like home. Would love to be back.
- staff is non professional - no optional (you have to bring the soap!) - nopossibility to have breakfast, even if it is a B&B
I booked one bed room apartment but was offered with two bed room apartment without additional fee. That's amazing service, Anna is very nice guy and always provide with good service and take care. It is nicely to come back if I have an opportunity.
Quite difficult to find if you do not have a map, a bit far away from main walking street, but it is still not too bad and compensate with quiet.
We were very happy with our clean spacious room. The price was very reasonable and we enjoyed the location. This house and garden are very nice with historic Pisa only a short walk away.
Location and staff.
Difficult to find late at night.
staff is warm
no breakfast no English speaking
We had a lovely time staying at La Dimora. The apartment is a 15 minutes walk to the duomo area and 5 Minutes to the train station, plus it is very close to a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants and the main shopping street! The apartment is just perfect and it wasn´t noisy at all in the night-time. The host on the other hand is very accommodating and is always available online when you need her. she provided instructions on how to reach the apartment easily. She even gave tips on where to find the best restaurants and cheap eats in Pisa. Highly recommended! Thank you so much! :)
Great place. Really. (Just don't forget to turn on the light if you want to charge your mobile :) )
Staff was extremely helpful, kept our luggage, restaurant recommendations, and other help that we needed. Really great people!
Really did not have any dislikes.
The location was very good. Very close to the train station. To go to pisa, we had to walk for 20-25 mins, which is not to bad.
Wifi was not working which is ashamed. It would be better if the staff can pick us up at the train station, because we were tricked by the taxi driver when we went there from the train station. He charged us for a good 10 euro when the meter clearly showed 5 euro.
The location is great, good size rooms, great outdoor area. Anna was very helpful on showing us restaurants and shops, etc.
The bathrooms were small, but clean. We were family of five, and we requested extra towels in an email, but never got them and was no way to get anyone at night, so we had to use wet towels. But overall, we were happy with the stay.
The location is fantastic, easy walk to the station, city center and attractions. We were pleasantly introduced to the city by friendly staff and the shared courtyard is very nice and comfortable. We had no problem accessing the bathrooms and were happy with the kitchen and bedroom.
Severe lack of natural light. When you turn off the light switch in the room the powerpoints also turn off which means you can't charge your phone overnight.
Poor communications. No speak english staff
Location is great, only a few steps from the main street. Hosts were great, very nice and accommodating. There is also a nice courtyard outside the rooms. The room itself is fine and sufficient. Washer in the apartment is a pleasant surprise, although the drying part doesn't work. There is a sufficient kitchen that we used minimally.
The only complaint I had was that in general Pisa is pretty noisy (church bells, street conversations, piazza music). Walls are very thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were doing. If you wake up before your neighbors, everything is great. Otherwise you are guaranteed to wake up when you neighbors start roaming around.
Patio. Available Kitchen. Nice Italian peple that had birthday party when we arrived invited us and gave us plate with food.
No typical reception. Need to arrange arrival time with sms.
Location, garden and clean
The rooms are noisy
Wifi was not working Credit card was not working
Overall very Italian and charming property. Loved the garden a great place to relax and our room was charming with comfortable beds.
One small annoying thing was you had to have the lights on to use electrical sockets so even to charge your phone when you might be in the garden!
Great location, good price, very easy to find from Termini, breakfast included.
Room was a bit bare (but it did still look very nice!)
Initially the hotel looked lovely; and it was quite well located. The garden area was nice and a pleasant space to be. There is a kitchenette available (but not well equipped)
There were no staff on site so no one to ask about the problem that arose. I have emailed the owner directly about a cleanliness issue and do not feel it necessary to repeat our concern in this review. We were also very disappointed because we were meeting friends and had asked to be co-located if possible. Although they had an empty room next to them that was taken up the same day as we arrived, it was not to us which was disappointing since I had specifically asked to be in adjoining rooms. The worst bit was the noise, both from outside - to be expected a bit since it is located in the centre and we did stay on a Saturday night. But also from noise within the hotel. There were two bathrooms shared between 3 rooms which sounds ok; except it was between 8 people. During the afternoon when we tried to rest one room was constantly opening and shutting the doors to an unnecessarily large number of times - very inconsiderate of other guests which is not within the control of the owners. Had there been someone on site they may have been able to ask them to be a bit quieter. In total there were 8 guests using the facilities and none of the doors opened or closed quietly. Good for the owners to have a full hotel but we did not sleep well at all and would not recommend this to others during busy holiday times. It is probably wonderful when quiet
Friendly and helpful staff good facilities including decent sized well equipped kitchen and pleasant garden. Close to train station and city centre with restaurants and bars nearby.
Free wi-fi available but rather unreliable.
