The Hotel La Floridiana is very well located and the view is spetacular. Everything is very clean and bright. The room chosen by us was ver noise, because was close to the elevator/stairs. |

maybe some view through the terrace.... I think this hotel needs some updates. The lobby and hall ways are 4star quality, but rooms are probably 3star at best. The breakfast was not good. We had milk with out of date. I guess you pay what you get at capri. Be aware of the star rating. |

Beautiful hotel within easy walking distance of Capri. The staff were very friendly and helpful - buffet breakfast was great. For a small fee, we upgraded to a seaview room - well worht the extra dollars.. |

Cleanness of our room. It was on the top floor. We moved from the triple room in the lower floor. We paid 30 Euro for the upgrade. Worth it. Location is good. View is great. Breakfast is not as good. |

Location is nice. The view from the breakfast room is wonderful. Very noisy hotel. Prepare to wake up at 6:30 to all sort of clatter noise. The breakfast is not too fancy, would expect better in 4 star hotel. |

Very good location, although you need to contract the service for carrying the luggages. It is far to carry by yourself. Good breakfast. The room is big with nice view. |

The accommodations were lovely, clean and spacious (for Italy). Reception staff was well informed about excursions and getting around the island. Would have liked directions prior to getting there, since it was a hike from the port. They should let you know cars cannot go there, as our taxi dropped us in a square with all the luggage, a good 10 minutes' walk from hotel. There was no pool and hotel is very far from the beaches. It is, however, close to the main square, shopping and some dining. |

Overall, the hotel was nice. It provided a beautiful view of the sea. The continental breakfast included in the price was also a good surprise. The front desk staff could have been a little nicer. The woman that checked us in was less than friendly, and always seemed annoyed when we had questions. The room was acceptable with a large bathroom, but the bedspread was not clean, with several noticeable stains. Based on the location of the hotel, upon reservation, the confirmation notice should include explicit directions as to what to do with luggage when disembarking the boat at Capri. We carried all of our luggage to the hotel, and I was traveling with an elderly woman so this was no small task. Never having been to Capri, directions from the hotel prior to arrival would have been most helpful. |

Overall a very good experience. We loved the reception whop spoke very good english and were extremelly welcoming, accomodating and helpfull in so many ways. Speakingwith friends who took a standard room, we were very glad we spent the extra money for a room on higher level and enjoyed the view / sea breeze as well as updated bathroom. Restaurant atmosphere and furniture is not as nice, comfortable or as the bright and modern lobby and large patio doors don't work so no sea air. Beds very hard, but this may be a consistent factor in Europe. A bit hard to find and get heavy luggage to on your own (not knowing serviceis available). |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Floridiana. The staff were amazing, very helpful and attentive and the best service we have experienced. Location is good and coudn't fault it. It was my fiancees 30th birthday and they arranged for a bottle of chmpagne to be delivered to the room. We were utterly thrilled with the stay Only thing to mention is it would nice to have a pool. |

The staff at reception were very helpful. We had the option to upgrade our room to a seaview. It was very beautiful. The restaurant and hiking recommendations by the staff were greatly appreciated and suited to our preferences. The description was "town view." What our view would have been was other hotels/homes. We thought town view meant the shopping/restaurant area. The hotel was nice and quiet, however. |

Quiet location, spacious room, but you must be ready to spend 150€, whatever the site says. The room booked had nothing to do with the photos on the web. At no time it was mentionned clearly what I booked. I had to pay an extra 35€ to get something decent! Terrace is too small to be useful. |
