Hotel La Floridiana  

The hotel is really cozy, in a great location and the staff is incredibly polite and welcoming. A perfect place with really afordable prices in one of the most beautiful places in the world - Capri.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good (the croissants are excellent!) Great views for the seaview room. Overall it was a very nice hotel and excellent value for the money.

The hotel is a few steps out off the main part of town, but the views and the helpful staff make it well worth the few extra steps.

Poor breakfast (they were using plastic cups). We booked a matrimonial bed and the room had two twins. If you have luggage book assistance to carry your bags.

Staff very helpful. We were upgraded to a 'seaview room' without requesting it, which was very nice. Room bright and spacious. Bathroom clean (with some signs of use and tear). Breakfast room is lovely, bright and spacious with nice views. Good selection of breakfast with attentive staff. Located a short walk (5-6 min) from the piazzetta in a peaceful street, no noises, very quiet.

Cotbed for baby only had the thin mattress, the ones used for travel cots, rather that a proper mattress.

I was disappointed that I was charged for two rooms because of my error in reserving a room through booking.com I only needed one room and made a mistake in how I navigated the website and the hotel held me to paying for both rooms. I was able to negotiate an extra night for free, but that was not really fair. It leaves a very bad impression with me. I can afford it but it was not handled in an ethical way. The service while we were there was very good but the core issue I described leaves a bad impression of your company, the region and frankly all of Italy. I have a large family of 25 people and I really would consider bringing all of them to the Isle, but not to one of your properties. It is really funny how such a small mistake can cost a company. We stayed in low season (mid January)and the hotel was essentially kept open for us. It was difficult to find restaurants and open businesses. No issues with crowding, the walking trails were empty. We felt welcome and comfortably alone.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing, upon arrival we got upgraded to a seaside view from the city view we originally booked.

Do not travel with a lot of luggage is staying at this hotel. As there is a steap walk to the hotel.

I just liked the location and I choose it because I did not find a 5 star hotel

I asked for iron and they told me that they only have laundry service. The sea view doesnt worth that value of money. I asked them also to carry my luggages to the port and they told me you must bring them at least 1 hour before the ferry time.

Nice breakfast with great coffee.

The room was smelly - I think from lack of ventilation in the bathroom.

The staff all spoke very good English and were very helpful. The breakfast, which was included, was continental style with a very good selection.

We booked a double room at the hotel, which we knew wouldn't represent great value for money as everything on Capri is overpriced, but the room was terrible. Upon first entering the smell that greeted us can only be described as musty, and to say it was spacious would be a huge exaggeration. There was literally only space for the bed (which was made of 2 singles and had 2 sets of sheets unlike the double we expected), a small wardrobe and the tv / minibar. Thankfully we were only staying here for 1 night as any longer would have been difficult to tolerate. The bathroom door made a horrible wood-on-wood shrieking grind to open and close. The shower head was broken and the shower curtain not long enough, which resulted in the bathroom completely flooding when we showered. Their website doesn't claim any frills for this type of room (classic double) but doesn't mention that the rooms are barely big enough to actually fit 2 people with their luggage, let alone have some degree of comfort. The city view bit was a bit misleading too, oweing to the fact we were in the basement and the balcony was more of a walled terrace, mostly taken up by an air conditioning unit.

The building was nice, and room was spacious with nice view.

The hotel was poorly maintained.
