Set on a side street just behind the cathedral, Hotel De Lanzi is near the shops and main monuments of the historic center of Florence. The simply furnished rooms have private bathrooms.
Score from 688 reviews Very good
Hotel Martelli is housed in an elegant, historic building, which once belonged to Florentine nobles. Both the cathedral and Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station are 650 ft away.
Score from 514 reviews Good
Hotel Caravaggio is in Florence’s Piazza Indipendenza, a 10 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Station. Its attentive 24-hour staff provide a tour desk and serve drinks in the peaceful garden.
Score from 602 reviews Very good
With a unique view of the cathedral, Hotel Panorama is in a 19th-century building completed when Florence was capital of Italy. The rooms have an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi.

Location.Close to train and in city centre. Helpful staff.
Carpets old and unclean. No elevator. No screens on windows. No free Wi Fi.
Very good location. Nice and frendly personal.
-Room near hotel very loud and if your room will have windows at this side - you will no be able to sleep with open windows. -Breakfast is very poor.
Great hotel in perfect position to city centre. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Breakfast included was very limited and tasteless.
Few minutes walk to the Florence Cathedral, about 10 to the Accademia, and Uffizi galleries. It rained one morning (down pour) and the staff let us borrow an umbrella so we didn't have to spend 5 euro for something we'd use once or twice. Breakfast was okay; croissants, cereal, jams and butter, coffee and juice. Bathroom was clean.
Our room was hot and the A/C didn't work too well
Only good thing to say bout this hotel is it is centrally located to both the train stations and the city centre
Everything about the hotel was an awful experience, no lifts, the rooms were small in particular the bathrooms, if you were tall you would have no chance of sitting down on the toilet, very cramped. The breakfast was the worst we have ever come across, with cheese melting as you took the wrappers off, the meat was the cheapest I've ever seen on offer. Very limited choice al together. Would not go back to this hotel ever again and could not honestly recommend it even on price.
Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were specious and clean, location is perfect and it is near the train station.
Breakfast was poor, not much to choose from.
Staff very helpful
Breakfast very limited... watched... and no fork allowed, so that you can'rt eat more than allowed.
The staff is amazing, they are helpful and very nice.
The A/C was not working properly, it was a very old unit that had no controls so if you plugged it in it was on, if you unplugged it it was off. Since it was very hot the A/C temperature was too warm and we woke up sweating during the night. If it rained during the night temperature was okay. The unit should have been replaced years ago. There is no elevators so climbing the stairs to the top floor with luggage is challenging. The hotel is in desperate need of repairs. We do not recommend it.
No lift, no working AC, no working tv, poor breakfast.
We were driving a larger vehicle and they were great getting us parked. Central location and generous breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Four flights of stairs with luggage -yikes.
i dont advice definitely all you!!! otel was very bad and miss ? was very rude!!
Too many stairs
staff and the toilet
without elevator and free wi-fi
We stayed for 10 days. And definitely will choose this hotel again. It's good value for money. Fantastic location for the historic center of Florence and shopping. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, open to any request and custom-fitted service which is rare fo a 3star hotels. The bed linen was changed daily.
The breakfast a bit boring, no diversity.
Great location. Comfortable rooms. Close to main parts of city and train station
No lift so had to take bags up quite a few flights of stairs
Location is good
It is not 3 star hotel. Room was poor quality.
Fantastic location! Breakfast was pretty good of a morning also
Didn't like that there was no elevator and we had to hike up 3 flights of stairs to reach our room every day. Front desk staff could've been a bit happier too
The staff friendliness and safety ( found and loss)
A/c not working poor breakfast variety - unavailability of normal cheese or yogurt - only processed cheese.
Very bad Hotel, it smells very bad!!!!No lift, very dirty!!!is this Hotel 3 stars or minus 3 stars??WiFi very expensive, nothing good!!!....
The price of wifi is just to much !!! 5€ for 1 hour!
Great having a bathroom in room. Friendly staff and awesome location.
The noise from the street side was almost unbearable and we had a lot of trouble sleeping through it. Would have been nice to include real Italian coffee with breakfast rather than a American coffee pot style.
Location was great...close to train and the heart of Florence, which turned out to be our absolute favourite town. We found the male owner very helpful.
We do love old European buildings but this hotel really needs some maintenance work. It's generally shabby and delapidated by comparison with other similarly rated hotels we stayed in, and you can see that some patch up repairs have been done on the cheap. On check-out we tried to let the female owner know that the shower head was cracked and sprayed water everywhere, and that the exhaust fan made a terrible groaning noise (when it worked), but her face froze over and she didn't seem at all interested in hearing it. So we didn't even bother mentioning that the toilet seat was broken and tended to slide off during use (very disconcerting), or that the stair railing was dangerously loose, or the other multitide of other things things we noticed needed attention. Breakfast was very limited and unappetising ... we even suspected it might have been designed to ensure people wouldn't eat much. We didn't even bother on our last day even though we'd paid for it. Wifi only available in small public area on second floor, and was expensive. Most places we stayed it was free and available in the rooms so we found this inconvenient. Even though the location was great, it just wasn't value for money. Given that there were so many other hotels in the same location that we saw when out and about walking around... so next time we would definitely choose a different hotel.
Location was perfect, very close to train station.
* Breakfast were quite poor: always the same sweet food, no fruits or vegetables. * Wi-fi costs 5 euros per hour * No elevator * No hair dryer in a room
