Score from 672 reviews Very good
the hotel was comfortable, warm in the winter, with a very good breakfast selection and coped with varied requirements.
bit of a walk to get the bus into Venice We couldn't get transport passes at reception it would be good if you could get a 24 or 48 hour travel pass for the buses and boats in the hotel before setting off to Venice.
breakfast is good and the size of room
you need to charge to the parking (20 earo per day)
Our second stay .
The reception staff are very nice and helpful The breakfast is of good quality and sufficient choice
The worst internet service ever, download and upload speed less than 0.5Mbps all the time, it even takes several seconds to load a simple webpage. If you want better internet, then you have to pay for it! The cleaning policy is so strange, even if you put the do-not-disturb tag or turn on the do-not-disturb light outside the door, the cleaning staff still kept knocking at your door. They speak no English, kept talking Italian to you even if it is obvious that you do not speak their language. The electric kettle cannot be used, every time you try to turn it on, the circuit breaker will be tripped off. The sound insulation is too bad which is so annoying, one can easily hear the voice or "special" activities from the next door.
Excellent breakfast - outstanding! Very interesting and attractive construction with own marina under roof Perfect location to go to Venice (only 10min walking distance to next ACTV bus station, usable with Venice transport ticket) Parking in the hotel at very competitive prices (12EUR/24h) Quiet and very nice and modern rooms. Don't know, what could be improved.....
The staff was adorable and very helpfull..
Smely and extremely dirty. Never again...
Very comfortable, great bed,a short distance to the bus stop, good breakfast
Parking is solved correctly. It is easy to reach Venice by taxi or by bus. The inside port is very attractive.
The staff of the bar was very slow.
Quality of the hotel and its arquitectural design
Far from bus station, facilities shared on two different buildings, air conditioner was not working properly enough as well as the WiFi
location, cleanileness and space of room.
there was no sleepers and carpet in the room. cool ground and tv was 20 years old and not working. from outside hotel looks ultra modern but the room is disappointing except space and bed.
The location was away from the noisy main streets. Quiet and clean. A short walk from the city center and the bus ride into Venice. There are 3 supermarkets on the same street. The hotel architecture was modern and refreshing. The hotel has its own Marina. The staff were helpful and polite. We were offered a room upgrade for a small fee. The wifi was excellent. Breakfast was great and lasted way after 10am the cut off time. The view of the marina from our room was the next best thing to being in Venice.
Not about the hotel however, we had an early flight out the next morning and the taxi ride was normal rate plus a fee for travelling at 'night' as they term any trip made before daylight. That's a 55 euro fare for a 15 minute ride to the airport. Taxis are very pricey in the city. Always go around by bus. The bus ride would have cost 6 euro, however, in order to get the the bus station, the taxi ride would have been about 40 euros for a 5 minute ride.
Great Hotel and good value for money
Just a little far from Venice central but easy to overcome with a bus and ferry pass 20 euro on off all day
Car park, room size, clean modern facilities
Overall customer minded
The misleading annoncement on soundproof. I had to put my earplugs in!
For travelers who want to see Venice it's a very good location, very close to the bus stop and train
For this kind huge hotels the service is almost good, there are a lot of people coming and going everyday but one thing disappointed me very much. When I check out I forget my jacket in the wardrobe, next day I wrote a mail, then made a phone call but nothing. Its not for first time to forget something in the hotel but it was for first time the staff being so uncooperative.
Location: even it is located in Mestre, I would not figure myself carrying my luggage looking for an alley hotel lobby in Venice's labyrinth. Falicilities are modern and luxurious, nice staff and great breakfast. Commute to Venice by bus is easy and cheap.
Walking to Mestre Train Station with luggage could be annoying.
TV set located behind closet. Not possible to control air conditioned inside the room. Hotel has two diferent buildings and no advance information for which one we have the reservation. To swicht off room light we need to go out of bed. Only one kind of pillow available.
I don't think any of the reviews mentioned which type of room they stayed in and perhaps that is the reason why there is such contrasting reviews. I think it's important to mention that I stayed in the executive room. Room was clean and with a decent sized LCD TV. I did have good signal of wifi in my room but not so much at the reception area. Hotel caters to all the basic needs of a traveller who just wants clean bed, clean floor (ours were tiled and not carpeted), clean bathroom and decent breakfast.
Toilet seems to have been built by the descendent who built the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It was leaning to the left. bathroom is a bit worn and needs some refurbishment. But must mention that it is clean and acceptable. a bit of a walk to get to the bus stations (10 minutes or so). Taxi to airport costs EUR35 and to Venice EUR25 Takes 10 minutes drive to Venice and 15 minutes to the airport. Think this is more a three star hotel in its current state than a four star.
in booking they mentioned kitchenette but it is useless, bath facilities not working properly ,every thing is low quality
Comfortable rooms . Very helpful staff . Great food in the restaurant for a reasonable price .
The comfortable and large rooms and the nice staff were making our stay very pleasant. The WIFI was workingvery well. The breakfast was rich and nicely served.
The surrounding in Mestre is only fair, but nut nice at all. It takes about 30 minutes time from the hotel to get to Venice, if you catch the train/bus on time - and even than you are only at the Sta Lucia or thePiazza del popolo, so it takes another 10-20 minutes ( with waiting time to get to the center. in the evening this gets even worse.
Tidiness and Staff politness
Adapter was not available minibar was fixed the next day
the modern style of the hotel
Put back the water taxies please
