Enjoy breakfast in the garden surrounded by orange and lemon trees at Casa Dominova. This delightful B&B is right in the heart of Sorrento.
Score from 66 reviews Very good
In the historic center of Sorrento, Tasso Suites feature air-conditioned rooms and apartments with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Sorrento Train Station is just over a quarter mile from the hotel.

Right across from Sorrento Harbour, the Marina Piccola 73 is just 215 yards from Sorrento’s main square Piazza Tasso. The rooms are elegant and decorated with pastel colors. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Admire the view of the Bay of Naples at Domus San Vincenzo in Sant'Agnello. Dating back to the 16th century, this interesting property is run by a convent.

Location In room coffee service Nicely furnished Cleanliness
Breakfast not early enough to take advantage of it if you have plans for an excursions like we had that began at 8 am.
Carlos was great host. Very friendly and pleasant. He assisted us with the tour and the taxi back to Napoli station. La magnolia is very quiet and private one you get into the compound.
Breakfast could have been better with a bit more choices esp if u are having the same basic menu every day..
Location was fantastic (step outside front gate and your in the main square.) Its also easy walking distance from train station. Quiet, secluded and very clean. Great value for money. Owners leave you a key to come and go as you wish and front desk is unmanned most of the time but you are given a business card with contactable numbers on it for them. Would definately stay again!!!! Loved it.
Would have been handy to have a communal washing room with washer and dryer to wash clothes if required (especially after visiting beach or if travelling for a while and you need access to washing facilities) but there is a laundromat in Sorrento. Apart from that small suggestion it's a perfect place to stay in Sorrento.
Location was outstanding. Superior room was very spacious and well appointed. Air conditioner worked well.
Availability of staff. Quality of Wifi- it's listed but useless for all practical purposes. A little bit of road noise, as the street can get busy at times.
AC not working well, staff rarely present, bed too soft
Superb location. Just 2 minutes walk from main square. Convenient parking close by although expensive. Room clean and comfortable.
We were asked to 'phone ahead to advise arrival time (desk seldom manned). Tried several times but could only get recorded message. Thankfully the owner happened to be there when we arrived. We stayed 3 nights but didn't see him again after that.
Location excellent, clean and liked it that I had a balcony.
Different cost when arrived. Paying on arrival unusual
The location is great. The hotel is in a remote corner of the Sorrento center.
The owner of the hotel who mans the reception as well as the lady who cleans the rooms are very very loud in the mornings. Both mornings, I woke up to the sounds of banging doors or vacuum cleaners at 8:30 -9:00 in the morning.
Position of hotel to centre of town. Carlo was absolutely brilliant. Shopping facilities very handy.
Very close to the main street! Really nice room.
It was perfectly clean. The staff is really helpful and friendly, it worked really well to check-in and check-out, even though there is not proper hotel reception.
On the top floor there are only roof windows and it gets really hot direct under the roof. There is air condition, but it was not powerful enough. Additionally, there is not proper hotel reception, but one only in certain hours.
Ideal for those looking for an affordable stay in a small family-run B&B in beautiful Sorrento. Right in the city center, close to the train station, the harbour and the beach. The owners are not there all the time, so phoning before arrival is a must.
The room itself is nice enough, especially the bathroom. That's it.
I've never had such a terrible experience with staff in a hotel. When we arrived the place was locked up and we had to sit outside and wait for someone to show up and let us in. They didn't have our booking information handy and wanted us to pay right away which we didn't agree too. The next day right as we were going to meet up with friends to catch a train somewhere we were chased down and told we had to pay right away, when we said we couldn't because we were on our way out the man became nasty and asked when we would be back, which we didn't have a set time because, you know, we're on holiday. We said we would pay that night, got back to the "hotel" and again nobody was there. When we got up the third day to pay, nobody was there. Finally when we got back that night the man was actually there and had our booking details so we paid and never saw him again. The hotel itself was nice, few ants here and there, but the staff were just terrible and made the stay unwelcoming and frustrating. Good location though. The end
Location, quiet room on the side lane. Generous size of the double bedroom "Positano" room. Friendly welcome by Carlo the owner. Modern, bright interior which was always cool after returning from a day in the got Sorrento sun. About 5 mins easy walk from the rail station and 10 mins to the Main Marina to catch the ferries or " beaches "
Noise of trickling water from the air conditioner at night, but this was only minor.
I needed to be near the rail station/main square in Sorrento, so the location of La Magnolia was absolutely perfect. Clean room, big bathroom.
While it is reasonable for a B&B to request that you let them know about your time of arrival in order to be prepared to check in, arrival and contact information was sent by email only a couple hours before check-in; the manager also left me a voice message. However, since some travelers are not unable to easily check voice mail and email while traveling internationally, this information should be sent in advance. I shouldn't be blamed (as I felt I was) for not being able to access this information. In any case, I only had to wait 15 minutes to check in after calling the manager upon my arrival in Sorrento, so harm done.
Carlo very informative and location to train station.
We had a room with a terrace which was lovely. We were able to sit in the early evening and at breakfast. Very accessible to the Piazza and we could walk (albeit long) to the harbor. Very pleased with choice.
If a room without a terrace, not sure I would have been quite so pleased.
Fabulous location in Sorrento, easy walk to everything. Comfort rooms are a good size & the bathroom was well equipped. Best to advise your arrival time as there isn't someone at the front desk very often. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to explore the Amalfi coast.
Location. Host - Carlo was very helpful
Very early noisy garbage collection outside room, although not the host's fault. Shower could have been warmer. Internet a bit dodgy.
we stayed 3 nights there, but no hot water at all for the third night. Moreover, Wifi signal is extremely weak in the room. We need to sit by the door and wait for some luck to get connected.
Great location just off main piazza in Sorrento. Host was welcoming and very helpful. Room was very good and had an area to sit outside as we'll if weather OK. Easy walk from train station. Easy train trip to Herculaneum and Pompeii and Sorrento is much nicer than Naples. Easy to get to Capris, Amalfi coast.
convenient location, pretty setting.
Messy check-in, deceiving description of triple room ( single bed was just a fold-out bed),poor breakfast service ( or lack of service ),,, poor lighting, mattresses very uncomfortable, linen not changed at all during 4 night stay, insufficient outdoor seating.
Carlo was very welcoming. Location is excellent for using transport and seeing things, and dining.
Inadequate towel hooks/rails, beds were not really comfortable, and shower leaked water onto bathroom floor. Worst was noise of couple in another room.
-Near train station and City center -I really love room decoration. -Clean and comfortable
Location was perfect. Super clean! I like the small boutique feel.
Just be forewarned that the hotel is small and located behind locked gate. However, upon arrival I rang the bell and Carlos, the owner, was able to open it remotely. We only waited about 5 minutes before he arrived. It would help to let him know when you plan to check in and check out.
