Lage des Hotels Gute Betreuung an der Rezeption

Zimmer war sehr klein

Die sehr gute , ruhige Lage des Hotels und die nähe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten sind ein Vorteil . Bei Fragen hilft das Personal gerne. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhöhrig und man sollte bei der Buchung schon Zimmer in der obersten Etage wählen. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Super Lage, Freundlichste Mitarbeiter, toller Service

Freundliches und immer ansprechbares Personal - auch die Chefin, ca. 85 Jahre alt - war immer angenehm praesent. Sprachen Italienisch und Englisch Parkplatz im abgeschlossenen Hof - aber wichtig: unbedingt reservieren! Fuer den Kultururlaub eine perfekte Lage - auch wenn man nach Tivoli und andere umliegende Orte fahren will. Es gibt verschiedene Zimmerarten: Groesse, Bad, Balkon, Terrasse. Die einfachste Zimmerart ist klein, max. 13 qm (obwohl 18 qm in der Beschreibung steht) und hat nur ein Minibad vorzuweisen. Grosse Zimmer + Bad etc. sind empfehlenswert.

Im ersten Zimmer im 6. Stock war ein staendiges Droehnen von der Technikanlage (Dach) zu hoeren - nachts ein Problem. In diesem Zimmer war zudem das Bettgestell unakzeptabel verschmutzt. Der Zimmerwechsel funktionierte ohne Probleme und das zweite Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung. Einfachste Zimmerart: Nicht empfehlenswert (S.O.)

Friendly, helpful staff. Charming ambience.

Personalized service tailored to the guest! We needed special accommodations because my husband uses a wheelchair, Ferris the manager/owners son went out of his way taking care of every detail. Including detailed walking tours, with several little surprises along the way. Also a very comfortable spacious handicapped room. The best part was dinner with other guests in the dinning room around big round tables, including wine for a set price.

Bathroom a bit compact but not a problem if you are not very large. Tea/ coffee making facilities in room would have been nice.

The room was spacious and had a nice view. I think they were going to put us in the wrong room as first they showed us a very small double but realised their mistake and moved us into the triple. Great location near the colloseum.

The breakfast was not great. The room was cold and there was no hydronic heating only an airconditioning/heating unit that was noisy.

The location for visiting Rome is perfect. The hotel staff is friendly and available. It seems to be more a guesthouse than a hotel. The breakfast is adequate without being extraordinary. We were at the first floor and got a nice private terrace overlooking the street.

The soundproofing of rooms (at least at the first floor) is bad and we heard all the sounds of the adjacent rooms.

The location was fantastic, not far from the train station and in easy walking distance to multiple sites. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very good standard of comfort, ground floor facilites great for reading newspaper, guidebook etc. The place is well cared for and the staff and general atmosphere are very friendly. We particularly like the option to join a communal table for a modest priced dinner (including the excellent vegetarian alternatives).

Our stay here was very comfortable and relaxing; the staff were very efficient and helpful; the hotel was located in a quiet residential neighbourhood very close to the sites of anicent Rome and close to all the city's transport options. Our room was well-appointed if slightly on the small side but it was quiet which was of paramount importance, especially at night. Breakfast was good and there was the option of an excellent three course home-cooked evening meal each night.

As with every hotel anywhere in the world it is the thoughtfulness and friendliness of your fellow guests that can be very important to your stay, and that is just pot luck. During the working week there were a high proportion of business travellers and some Russians staying here who were incapable of being polite let alone friendly, and some would come back late at night carrying on loud conversations in corridors and stairwells, and slamming doors. Nothing the hotel could do about that really.

Close enough for an easy walk from Colosseo metro station, with my flight bag in tow. Owners and staff were very welcoming, and made every effort to make guests comfortable. For example, I was offered a bottle of water when I arrived. I usually like to go out explore rather than dine at the hotel where I stay, but I'm glad I decided to relax and eat in, after exploring during the day.

Some wear and tear on the bed cover and other parts of the room. But nothiing serious.

Fantastic service by very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent breakfasts. Comfy room in a very secure location, close to the Metro and sights. Had dinner at the hotel - excellent value and great company. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love the feeling of a good family run hotel. Lancelot was everything that I hoped it would be. Perfect location 2 mins from the Colosseo, we could walk to almost everywhere, and we did. Returning at the end of a full day of sightseeing to a warm cosy hotel with a lovely dinner waiting if we wished to book an evening meal. Dinner is made by the proprietor there is no choice and the evening menu is posted on the front desk each morning. Dinner is a communal experience with guests joining each other at the table to chat about their day. There is a warm and friendly bar where you can have a drink/coffee or watch television if you wish. I can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return the next time I am in Rome.

The only criticism I have is the bathroom was very small with only a shower.

I thought the Hotel was very friendly and inviting. The staff was great and so was the room. I also liked to location. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Oh, and a very good breakfast included.
