Lantana Resort Hotel&Apartments    

Great location, easily within walking distance of beach and town. Room was nice, big balcony and good view of pool/garden. Quiet and peaceful resort.

Hairdryer was bad. Chia beach was quite a long bus drive away (nicest beach in the area). Very few negatives.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our five week motoring tour of Italy. It is conveniently located for easy access to the central piazza in Pula and the wonderful sandy beaches and the ruins of Nora along the coast. Our room was well appointed complete with balcony overlooking the pool. Food Is good quality, well presented and provides a good choice. Meals can be taken in the restaurant overlooking the pool and on a warm sunny day this is delightful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are keen to give advice on where to visit, make a dinner reservation for you in town or even to get your car washed. The owners Mr and Mrs Gallia try to make themselves known to all their guests and take a keen interest in the every day running of the hotel. Their son does a superb job as head of food and beverage and their daughter who was visiting from England whilst we were there was absolutely delightful and interesting to talk to. Cars can be parked out of the sun and the hotel must be complemented for its responsible care for the environment having installed 50kw of solar energy generated electricity!!! Children can play safely in the extensive grounds which are superbly maintained complete with a small putting green. This is a hotel to be proud of. Peter M Richardson

1.5km to beach

This resort was perfect for us. We had a self-catering apartment which overlooked the swimming pool, with our own terrace we could sit out on and eat. The hotel restaurant wasn't open any of the time we were there (other than for breakfast) but as we were self-catering this wasn't a problem. The hotel is just a short distance from the centre of Pula which has some nice restaurants (although for those who want more choice a car would be better to explore other areas). The beach was just a few minutes drive. The only downside was that it was quite early in the season (we went early April) and a lot of things were closed. Also at that time of year the swimming pool was very cold so not for the faint-hearted!! We would definitely like to go back later in the year.

Service, pool, breakfast, cleanliness

All staffs are very kind. We fully enjoyed the pool and garden in the hotel. The shuttle service between hotel and beach is convenient for guests who don't have a car.

The hotel is located bit far from city center of pula. It would be better if there is room cleaning service as well as towel change by hotel staff every day.

The Lantana Resort is a beautiful place! Wonderful garden! Great swimming pool. We had a marvelous view from our terrace. The apartment was well equipped, with a very effective, silent air-conditioning. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was very comfortable and relaxing. I appreciated, for example, aquagym 3 times a week in the evening for all guests. The staff were nice and helpful. The owner is a very kind gentleman. We felt really great! What is more: wifi internet worked perfectly!

There were a lot of little ants in our apartment - not a big deal, but slightly annoying... It is a pity the bar does not serve fresh authentic coffee which in Italy is perfect almost everywhere. I was disappointed to see that they served Nespresso coffee which I have at home - a very good one, but not excellent coffe Italy is famous for. The day before our departure our towels and bed linen were not changed although it was time to do that. When I intervened at the reception and asked for clean towels the request was granted immediately. But still it was some kind of incompehensible neglect or ommission on the part of the hotel staff...

This hotel just gets it Right..Plain and simple. We had a wonderful 4 nights here and would return here without a doubt! We have already recommended this resort to our very very picky friends, too. We visited 3 beaches on foot, rented bikes and scooters...so much fun!

We chose not to eat the 37 euro dinner but instead dined in town. We were not disappointed. Other than the bed being a little too firm, the room was great!

The country itself is beautiful - Perfect size of holiday resort for us - A beautiful garden with grass and palm trees with clear pool - Very, very tasty cuisine - Pula is also a nice town - All beaches from Pula to Chia were stunning, gorgeous white sand and amazingly clear water - Beware of "cheap" car rental at the airport. Low price = too long waiting for clearance :-))

- too far from Bratislava to more frequent visits. At least twice a month :-))

The restaurant was a huge disappointment; pasta from out of the can, cold french fries, raw (grilled) fish, all for a huge price. Generally speaking, the price of the hotel is too high in terms of value for money.

Great location, comfortable rooms, relaxing atmosphere, nice pool, friendly staff.

Water pressure in the shower very low.

A car is really needed. but that is something we knew in advance Please do not forget to bring your ear plugs, walls are paper thin I had 2 very bad sleepless nights due to loud snoring in room next to ours. Also quite a lot of noise coming from the restaurant ( room was above restaurant and kitchen) Prices in the bar : why ask 2 to 3 times the normal going rate for a coffee or a beer in the hotel bar? During our stay we hardly saw anyone ordering something at the bar, so gave rather "dead "impression. Bath room : well cleaned but more 3 standard than 4. Basic shower and very loud ventilator Breakfast good quality ingredients but "zero" variation, apart from different biscuits and pies / but who eats that in the morning anyhow ? Why not serve some freshly squeezed orange juice?

Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Frühstücksangebot ist sehr mager.(fast keine frischen Früchte,kein frischgepresster Orangensaft,Käse mager,Eier zu fest gekocht,zuwenig Fleischangebote,Kaffee nicht aus der Expressomaschine .Das Abendessen ist im Angebot zu teuer und zuwenig Buffetangebote.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die gepflegte Hotelanlage mit schönen Zimmern, wunderbarem Garten und eigenem Parkplatz.

Mückenplage (Insektenschutz mitbringen!), zu kleines Bad in den Zimmern, knappes Frühstücksangebot.

Rien à l'hôtel lui-même. En revanche, énorme point noir à mes yeux avec la commune de Pula : - le premier soir de notre arrivée, nous dînons en bord de mer. Parking mal signalisé, très peu d'éclairages, mon épouse se gare et je la rejoins par la suite à pied. Mon épouse ne lisant pas l'italien, elle ignore qu'elle s'est garé sur une esplanade piétonne non signalisée comme telle. 15 véhicules y étaient aussi garés. À notre retour du restaurant, contravention de 80 EUROS (!!!!) malgré ma plaidoirie auprès du policier de patrouille. - dernier jour, nouvel épisode exaspérant. Averti de cette véritable chasse au PV, je me gare sur la place centrale, à un emplacement autorisé, et je vais aussitôt chercher un ticket de parcmètre. À mon retour, 18 euros d'amende. J'ai fait un scandale (je parle très bien l'italien) pour que l'on m'aide à retrouver le policier à la gâchette trop facile. J'ai dû attendre 15 minutes qu'il repasse, négocier, lui montrer mon ticket, etc. Cette chasse au touriste, surtout quand il ne comprend pas l'italien, est absolument inacceptable. Nous avons dépensé, nos amis et nous, à peu près 13 000 euros en deux semaines pour l'économie locale. Nous ne prévoyons pas d'en dépenser autant l'an prochain, sauf si la commune, auprès de laquelle nous avons protesté par écrit, fait amende (!) honorable. On peut toujours rêver…

A roupa era mudada de 2 em dois dias mas não faziam qualquer tipo de limpeza às casas-de-banho e quartos.

Le cadre de l'hotel, sa situation géographique, le professionnalisme du personnel, la beauté des lieux, le confort. Idéal à la fois pour un séjour en couple ou en famille. Infrastructure pour les enfants (belle piscine, aire de jeux, animation 3X par semaine). Le jardin de l'établissement est magnifique, les bungalows sont très beaux, bien décorés construit dans le style sarde (belles couleurs), système air conditionné très moderne qui fonctionne parfaitement. Le personnel est aux petits soins, souriant, aimable et très professionnel (notamment Paula!). La région autour est sublime, un vrai dépaysement. Le petit village à côté de Pula est très sympa avec des animations tous les jours en été.

le prix de la restauration assez élevé par rapport à la qualité des mets.

L'etablissement est proche de Pula tres animé le soir, pas loin d'une belle plage, l'équipement, la proprete, la piscine, les jardins trés fleuris, l'acceuil du personnel et le calme etc en font un hotel ou tout est fait pour que le client soit le mieux possible, vraiment irréprochable.

Superbes appartements meublés dans le style typique sarde, très propres, spacieux et confortables. Situation géographique idéale entre le centre ville et la mer.Piscine superbe et animations de qualité.Jardin absolument magnifique et bien entretenu. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable.

Les repas à l'hôtel sont chers pour les petits budgets: nous avons préféré manger en ville.

Très bel hôtel avec une très belle et grande piscine et un jardin très bien entretenu avec une belle variété de plantes (palmiers, bananiers etc...) Les chambres/appartements pour 4 sont spacieuses et la cuisine bien équipée. C'est un hôtel calme. Les fenêtres de la chambre sont double vitrage ce qui insonorise du bruit. Bel emplacement pour découvrir la côte sauvage sud ouest de la Sardaigne Voiture nécessaire pour pouvoir se déplacer et découvrir une plage différente chaque jour.
