La Pace was excellently situated within walking distance of the station. We used the trains a fair amount to travel to Lucca, Sienna and Florence. The reception staff were very courteous and helpful and changed our room for us without any problems whatsoever. The only reason we changed rooms was because there were four of us (two x twin rooms) but we were on different floors. We felt they should have given us rooms next to each other as we had booked almost six months in advance. There was no quibble over it. The only complaint was the evening meal that was offered. We did not realise they offered evening meals so decided to take advantage of it. Unfortunately there was only one person on duty who appeared to be serving in the bar (where you ate your meal), taking the food orders, preparing the food and serving! The food was, it would appear, all microwaved and we had all chosen something different. Obviously they do not really cater for evening meals. The breakfast, food and service, was excellent if a little slow. |

The staff were really friendly and helpful...especially the lady on reception Regina Kamp..really lovely. We were upgraded to a bigger room with out asking. We would defiantly stay there again. Nothing wrong with the hotel...but beware of the bar on the corner of the street caffe GAMBRINUS...we went for coffee on our first night there, had 2 espressos, 1 brandy and a cake..7 Euros...then the next day after visiting the tower...we decided to have a coffee there before we left...2 Espressos and 2 small cakes 14.40 euros..it didn't register that we had been had until we had left...you have been warned!!! |

The staff were very friendly. The location was handy to the train station and everything in the town. Breakfast was good. The shower was not super clean, and it was difficult to keep a consistent temperature. Warm water turned scalding hot at random intervals.The room also smelt stale. The walls probably needed cleaning to get rid of stale cigarette odour. I also didn't manage to connect to the wifi. |

Very central for rail station. Central for visiting the sites. The shower was far too small and the towels were inadequate - very thin cotton. |

The hotel was very central for airport and train station. A convenient shuttle to airport was available at an additional charge. The room was in desperate need of modernising. The furnishings were old and the lighting was really dingy and dark. It was not very comfortable and the area where the children slept had a door onto a balcony 6 floors up. The bathroom was fairly clean but there was no shower just a bath attachment. We had to leave early before breakfast and were not even offered anything to take with us, not even for the children, even though breakfast was included in the rate. I am very disappointed and feel that this hotel is not a 3 star and definately not value for money! |

Location 2 minutes from the station, 10 minutes from the leaning tower. All the staff from reception to the bar went out of their way to help and advise on best places to eat and drink and generally made our stay an enjoyable one. Lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room |

The hotel is fairly close to the station without being affected by train noise. An attractive feature is the number of paintings and other art works, particularly decorated glass thoughout the hotel. The staff were helpful and there was a good "continental" buffet breakfast. The bed mattresses were quite firm, and might not suit everyone. |

The hotel staff was nice and friendly and helpful. I had a very ugly, totally outdated room. The shower was so small und uncomfortable, that I could hardly use it. For the money it was a rather depressing stay. |

The Hotel was very nice and very good breakfasts,good location near railway and not far from attractions of Pisa. The Hotel is in bit of a rough area near to betting shop,lots of alcholic,s in area around station,also pickpockets tried to get into my wifes handbag and also a German ladies bag,area needs more police to remove these people on,area also untidy rubbish and ciggarette ends all over pavement. |
