La Rosa sul Mare is on the most beautiful hillside of the Plemmirio nature park and sea reserve in Syracuse, with its cliffs of white rock and its flowered terraces gently sloping down to the Ionian sea. This was the most beautiful setting I have ever stayed in. The views of the sea from all rooms is spectacular. We were the only ones there for a couple of days, which was very serene. The pool, gardens, and ocean access was unbelievable for the price. They were very accommodating, to myself and my family. We will definitely be back for another visit. The WiFi was somewhat unreliable, but it did work intermittently. We were attacked by mosquitos, and with no screens, this was somewhat uncomfortable.

The views were simply amazing especially from the pool as it was overlooking the sea. So suitable for very romantic sunsets!. For this reason the location was excellent and because it is not placed in the more hectic centre of town in Siracusa. The equipment in the kitchen (E.G. pans, cutlery) should be newer or at least renovated more frequently.

around the hotel is beautiful. Room has nice furniture, it's comfortable enough the hotel has no internet, no free TV, breakfast is very skimpy and do not worth 10 euros. If you are not completely eaten your breakfast and the next day you give up another, all will be cleaned, even then what you paid. the room rate includes using of kitchen, what at first did not warn. this hotel is not suitable for families with young children. in the room we used fumigators, however the child was bitten all.

Das Hotel ist eigentlich eine Appartmentanlage mit 9 Ferienwohnungen.Es liegt wunderschön am Meer (felsiger Einstieg) und ist ruhig.
