La Terrazza Di Montepulciano is a comfortable hotel situated along the main street of Montepulciano, very close to the beautiful Piazza Grande, in the heart of the historic center. La Terrazza Di Montepulciano was recently restored with local materials, and is directly managed by the owners. This is a wonderful small hotel, Roberto and his wife are both charming and willing to please. The room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was very generous, and the location is superb being only a few paces away from a variety of excellent restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay. There was a reasonable amount of noise from the street below whilst the restaurants were open, and some traffic noise early in the morning, but only what you would expect staying in a town.

Roberta and Vittoria went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They are helpful with parking, restaurant suggestions, etc. They were also very kind to our dog. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Tuscany area. It was beautiful, convenient, and the staff made it even better.

Our host, Roberto, was wonderful and very enthusiastic. It was a pleasure to arrive and be greeted in such a warm manner. We had a fabulous room off the terrace with a bedroom and sitting room. The room decor was adorable! We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace each evening, drinking wine and talking to other travelers. We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel, but when we called them, they actually drove to where we were and led us to the hotel.

Roberto, the owner is a most pleasant and friendly host. The facility is a bit tired. The water pressure was almot nil and never warm. Would rercommend solely on the graciousness of the owner.

Our family of nine wanted a true Tuscany experience, and the La Terrazza was the perfect place. We felt at home and enjoyed the warm hospitality provided by Vittoria and Roberto. They treated us like family. The beautiful terrace was so inviting we did not even take some of the side trips we had planned. We brought groceries back for picnics some days because the children were content to walk around the always charming Montepulciano. Dinner options are great, and we could easily walk to any ot them. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and decorated in typical Tuscan style. We woulod recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

Dear All, somebody wrote: “La Terrazza is spectacular on many levels, but truly Roberto makes the place really special. The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is homemade by Roberto's wife, and Roberto will do anything to ensure his guests have a great time in the Montepulciano area”. No better words to describe the wonderful atmosphere created by Roberto with his wife and daughter! 100% right! We will always recommend La Terrazza to everybody planning to visit Montepulciano! Don Roberto, thank you very much! Bodyguard & Top Model ;-d

Everything. Vittoria and Roberto were absolutely lovely and they have a wonderful place. They were so helpful and we absolutely plan on staying there again. I would recommend staying there. And you can park in front of the hotel. Do your research if you are driving, as there are many streets you cannot drive thru and the hotel is a little tricky to find. Nothing, it was a wonderful stay.

Good central B&B. Tricky to find but keep following the yellow signs! Character place. Very welcoming! Request parking as the hotel has 4 spaces. Don't miss out Montepulciano - lovely town. No A/C which made it quite unbearable, especially at night. One fan was not enough for 3 people – probably needed one each in August! Needed a bit more variety for breakfast – no cereal, too much cake, only one flavour fruit juice….

We loved our Host and his sense of humor. It was comfortable and personal and the location could not be better for exploring Montepulciano. I read the reviews and that is how I made the decision to book the hotel. We were very happy with the experience.

Very charming motel, right in the heart of the downtown area. The greatest asset is "Roberto", our wonderful host. He is warm, charming, very friendly, outgoing, and makes you feel part of his own family. When we lost our way to the hotel, Roberto dispatched his lovely wife who drove 10 minutes away to find us and bring us in (we had entered the city from the wrong location altogether).

The host, Roberto, was very friendly; his English is adequate, and what he lacks in words, he makes up for in gestures and signs. He is a man with a zest for living, and he likes people. Our room was adequate, no huge pros or cons. There are two different patios to use and both are charming and peaceful. "Honor system" in kitchen for drinks (sodas, bottles of water or wine). Breakfast was extravagant for being continental: juices, yogurt, pastries and coffee cake, cheese and salami and rolls. Roberto serves it up with enthusiasm and cheer; he must be a morning person. He is unique and so is his property. The hotel is extremely hard to find. Roads through this historical site are narrow, steep, and sometimes "one way" only. Roberto could not explain over the phone, so we parked and found it on food. There is parking if you have a rental car (since you are staying at a local hotel). If you get a rental car, buy full insurance on it! We stopped in Sienna for lunch and came out to find someone had bashed in the door in two places--without a note, of course. But no problem when we turned in the car since we had the insurance. The hotel room was spacious enough, but the bathroom and shower were tiny. A large person would have difficulty in there.

Just like everybody said the host was amazingly funny and the rooms where really beautifully Italian. It was a bit hard to find in the car but the locals where great and knew where it was. Also there is free parking which is great. Good value for money I would defiantly recommend this place.

We have never felt more welcme or at home than at La Terrazza: the owners create an atmosphere of friendliness, and happiness and good humour. Montepulciano, is beautiful, old, peaceful in January, great views, food, and wine, friendly people. No vampires.

The owner Roberto was a delight. He made us feel very welcome and treated us as his family. Narrow steep stairs going down to our room. The directions in Montepulciano to the Hotel could be better.

“Palazzo Bellarmino is a beautuful old stone building with an inside courtyard. Our apartment was very large and comfortable with beautiful views of the Tuscany hills from the windows.
