La Torre Residence Florence Aparthotel

We werden bij aankomst omgeboekt naar een andere residentie onder de noemer van een upgrade.

Het lawaai was oorverdovend. Midden van de nacht begonnen ze met citernewagens vanalles leeg te pompen, fuivende mensen in Grand Hotel, feestje op het 5de en tenslotte vanaf 6h luidende klokken. Geen oog dichtgedaan.

It's a beautiful aparthotel in the center of Florence near all the places of interest. Quiet and very friendly staff.

everything's perfect

Spacious and clean.

Windows open to a very narrow alley (2 meters wide), so the view is not good but at the same time there is no traffic noise to disturb sleep. One night an adjoining apartment/hotel room was occupied with young people who partied very loudly and were banging furniture in the hallway until 1:30 in the morning.

Central location. We could walk to all the sites. Apartment was large and well equipped. It was a relatively easy walk from the station with luggage. Office for check-in was between station and apartment so easy to access.

Office was a real estate office with a different name but it was at the address indicated. Perhaps better sign posting necessary.

Apartment was clean, perfectly located near to the Ponte Vecchio, beautiful views over the Florentine rooftops, everything provided, very good value, light and airy.

Some noise from the street traders wheeling their carts to market every morning from 5am but double glazing did shut most of it out. My mother is in her 70's and the 82 steps to reach our apartment every day were a bit of a problem. But the views were worth it.

The apartment was very well equipped and nicely decorated and also very well located close to down town.

It had too many stairs to the second floor hence it is not appropiate for staying with children.

Excellen.t location,clean and big appartment

good location

the check-in was remote from the apartment, and it was closed, even though the email said it would be open. I spent several frantic hours trying to figure out how to get in. Though there was a phone # for the office person, the number was not always answered, and I had to stop someone on the street to use their Italian cell phone.

Close to the heart of old Florence

A bit of a challenge to locate it. More an issue with street numbering and lack of signage

The apartment was great in a fantastic location. It was great for all the family.

The washer was broken

We liked the old apartment and also liked the way they give names of the apartments - not numbers but names. E.g. we lived in Santo Spirito apartment, the neibour ones were Santo Croce etc.

There's no any sound isolation at all. You can hear every noise on the street below.
