Location, cleanliness, welcome drink on roof terrace, staff.

We did not pay for the breakfast but went to have a look on our first morning, it did not look particularly extensive so we ate out for less money each morning. However the terrace is lovely!

The general feel of the room. The location and the fact that we had all that we required. The quality of the hotel. Also the lovely roof terrace

We thought the staff were rather unfriendly and not very welcoming. The breakfast was not of the standard and variety expected of a 4 star hotel. Eg. the toasting bread was dreadful. The upper staircase was inferior.

Easy to find and excellent location for the historic sights and shopping.

General comfort in rooms needed to be improved.

The room was excellent. Service very helpful. Porterage. Perfect position in centre , 100 metres from Santa Maria de Fiore.

Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Machine for coffee , not much in way of hot food.. Adequate I suppose.

Toilet was dirty. Breakfast was poor. Room "with a view" (additional payment) was with a view on a street not the cathedral. Air conditioning did not work properly that's why it was very hot during the night. Because of the noise from the street, you could not open the window. Poor value for money.

The location was great - between Duomo and Santa Maria Novella train station, a few steps from both of them. The service was good, the rooms clean and spacious, the staff helpful. Great base to explore Florence and Tuscany.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was amazing, walking distance to all the major sights and train station. Very comfy bed. Free wifi. Nice roof terrace with a free welcome drink and nice cafe in reception.

Very hot rooms and air con confusing.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Our room 511 was large and had a full 5 pc bathroom. It was very clean and it was wonderful to soak in a hot bath after walking all day. It was located about 30 secs walking distance from the duomo. The train station is also very close and was easy to walk to with our luggage. The free Internet was a bonus and the included breakfast was great.

Pretty much everything including the small but very well run 6th floor restaurant which served an excellent breakfast and supper.

Noise from traffic, our room was at the front of the hotel so we had a view of the city. As with lots of hotels it was much too hot inside.

Almost everything was perfect.

I can only say that pillows are a bit thin so it was not that comfortable for me.

The location was superb, near the Duomo, train and bus stations, shopping centre, Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. We found some very good reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Although the room looked out onto the main street it was quiet as well as clean and comfortable. We slept well - the beds were firm and the room was soundproofed, so we could not hear any neighbours. We particularly appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room (you have to ask at Reception) which is unusual in Italy. The staff were polite and helpful.

The breakfasts were good, considering one often has only a continental breakfast in Italy, but some fresh fruit salad would have been nice. I can't think of anything else.

Excellent location close to train station and centrally located to shopping, museums and places of interest. Wifi in room with good sigal and the cafe next door serves 1.20€ cuppucino and they are good too!

This hotel was so conveniently located, just a stone's throw from the central train station. Right in the heart of the city and yet, very close to the main tourist attractions in Florence, such as the Duomo and the Uffizi gallery. And the staff were friendly and gave good recommendations for places to eat in the city. The rooms were nothing to shout about but everything was very clean and well-maintained.

Location is very good; just a short walk the Duomo, and a partial view of it from the terrace. Friendly staff (everyone was friendly and helpful). Clean room with very modern bathroom. Great comfort.

Very slow internet connection. Reliable, but slow.

Fantastic location, close to train & Duomo. We had 2 rooms, one for us and one for our adult children. A great bar/ breakfast room with views of Duomo.

Our room was too hot and the staffs only advice was to open the window!

Locatio is superb. The reception staff is gerar. We needed a Medical assustáveis and the recepcionist Roberto was very efficient and kind.

The location is ideal for visiting the entire city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast staff were not at the same standard as the other hotel staff. On a busy morning and 1 hour prior to the end of the breakfast period they started packing up. They then demanded that guests share tables with strangers. This is not acceptable when there was still plenty of spare but unlaid tables.
