The staff was helpful, and all spoke English. The free shuttle was very efficient, and offered numerous trips to and from downtown. Nice dining room, and great views! |

We had the double room with a view of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. The upgrade is well worth the money. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is located well up the side of the mountain, which gives a good view, but basically isolates the traveler from walking around. There is, however, a free shuttle which runs regularly into Sorrento. |

We really enjoyed the wonderful views of Sorrento,it was nice to be close to the city but removed from it at the same time.The excellent shuttle service from the hotel into town took care of the distance |

The room was clean and the lobby very inviting and the people were very friendly. We loved the dog at the front door. the view is wonderful. Being our 38th anniversary we really appreciated the champagne sent to our room. We would stay there again. |

Good friendly service from all hotel staff.Useful mini bus service (free) into the town, always on time. Free car parking facilities. Nice room. |

It was a very friendly hotel. The courtesy bus was excellent.Nino the manager/receptionist was very fluent in English and was certainly the most helpful of all the staff.The breakfast was excellent (except for the lack of a hot choice. The evening meal was expensive and was inflexible insofar that you couldn't substitute a starter instead of a dessert. Apparently most Italians want this combination. The Courtesy bus timetable and route should allow for collection from and delivery to the bus station if desired as strangers to the area do have difficulty. |

i loved the views from the room,the pool ,sun terrace ,the peacefullness of the area the food was very mediocre.having to rely on the shuttle bus or public transport and not being able to walk to the town was fustrating,the long gap between the 12.30 bus and 17.30 bus was a nusiance.the satff were rude on checking out also |

The veiw and rooms were nice. Shuttle into town was very helpful. I did not like that they shut off the air conditioning for this time of year. I found the room to be very warm and stuffy because there wasn't a breeze coming in. |

Excellent service, wonderful views, beautiful hotel and a great pool! It was great to have such a reliable shuttle service and ofcourse the uses were a great asset, too. The waiters at the breakfast and dining room areas are fantastic! The best thing I did was to stay in the superior room with a balcony. Totally worth it! |

clean, tidy, lovely pool but way, way too far from Sorrento,nearly 10 kms!!said on website paid in advance and we had to pay when we arrived. not enough parking spaces, expensive food and horrible coffee, not much choice for breakfast and above all very far not 'just up the hill' as advertised no chance walking to sorrento. not happy spoilt the end of our honemoon didnt expect to pay for it thought we already did as the website said 'advanced purchase' |

The room is very clean and there is a balcony with a excellent ocean view. The hotel is a bit far from the city however they have a shuttle service and free parking that is essential for car trip. The hotel may provide free internet service |

The view from the hill is great. If you have a car and want to go to a different beach on Sorrento peninsula every day (what we did), location is fine. Reception staff was very helpful. Bus service to Sorrento centre very reliable and driver extremely nice person. Surroundings of the hotel are very calm. Great location to be "left alone". Hotel's design is pretty old fashioned, rooms are clean but hard to call them cosy. In the 80s it must have been luxurious for sure. Old TV and strange noise from the electric box. Breakfast is poor, coffee horrible, no coffee making facilities in the room. No shops around the hotel. Last bus from Sorrento is at 11.30pm, your evening is determined by the bus schedule. Must be hard to get to any beach without a car. |

Hotel surpassed its 3 stars. Excellent attention to detail, high standard of styling and fixtures. Well managed by friendly and helpful staff. The shuttle bus was a tremendous bonus and adequately overcame the only potential disadvantage that it was a little way out of town. Worth it though for the excellent views and quiet, pleasant setting. No criticism at all. Tiny scope for improvement if: there was some way of accessing the shuttle bus timetable before we arrived, so we could use it to get there. Also would be handy to have a clearly labelled vegetarian option on the menu at dinner. |

I was very pleased with the hotel - wonderful view, nice swimming pool, comfortable rooms, free shuttle bus to Sorrento, location outside of the hectic traffic of the town, parking - and very kind staff. The restaurant is un-interesting |

Staff extreemly available, friendly, helpful and attentive during our stay. Rooms very clean and beds very comfortable. Bathroom clean and modern. View spectacular from room and most parts of the hotel and courtesy bus very good and useful. Breakfast very good for contenental breakfast, plenty of choice and food available. Rooms a bit small for triple room. Could have been more dining facilities, for example after breakfast which stopped at 10:00 am only snack food was available from 12:00 to 15:00 then nothing available till 19:00, then limited menu available from 19:00 to 21:00. No food available in hotel beyond these time periods which was aquard as town was about 10Km away. |
