The view from the great room with a balcony was super. The staff was excellent. The poor was a little cool, being on a mt overlooking Sorrento Bay and the cruise and sail boats. Beds and breakfast were good. Parking was excellent. Dinner was very fine. The bar and gelato were great!

You are outside of town, but the hotel van has an excellent schedule to and from.

the room was clean and our balconey view that was suppose to be of the valley turned out with some ocean view. the staff was wondeful. friendly and always ready to help with any request. I would recommend this hotel

Nice and relaxing hotel. Lovely rooms with great facilities. Amazing view. Great breakfast with wide variety.

Swimming pool was empty which wasn't explained prior to visit and messed up our plans. We had shuttle bus issues on arrival as wrong information was given prior to visit. However once this was sorted the shuttle bus was very useful. Wifi should be free for customers to use on their own devices, charging in this day and age is crazy.

The front desk staff were really helpful, giving us maps and sorting out our bus tickets. The room was clean, comfortable and up to date. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. Room had a balcony which overlooked the pool, most seemed to overlook this and there were beautiful views all round.

The breakfast was a little sparse. Most Italian breakfasts aren't great but would have liked to see some natural yoghurt and fruit not from a tin! The man serving in the restaurant was a little on the rude side. The food in the restaurant was of good quality but they were little portions and very overpriced for what they were.

Having a french name in the Italian paradise is somewhat 'chic', though it live up to its name implied. Overlooking the citta di Sorrento and beyond the hill, an enclave seemingly set away from the crowds, and yet a short comfortable ride by the hotel coach hourly is not something that one would complain about. At a slight premium if one is willing to splash out, you should not regret too much. The usually expected standard of clean, and comfortable room, with some pluses - swimming pool, breakfast room with a 'vue', helpful staff and free parking if you do bring one along. Recommended.

The staff were absolutely outstanding!! There was parking available for our rental car and a shuttle bus ran down to town frequently at no charge. The breakfast was very good and was included in the room price. Our room was lovely and had a great view with a big balcony. The best thing about staying there was our interaction with the staff and the other guests staying there. We would definitely stay here if we come back to the Amalfi coast.

The weather, and the hotelhad nothing to do with that!

We enjoyed the peaceful, homely environment with wonderful views and friendly, helpful staff, the convenience of the restaurant and bar facilities if you didn't want to leave the hotel. If you did, the shuttle bus provided the link to the other facilities. After spending 3 weeks in Italy doing all the tourist attractions and being in big crowds this was a perfect way to enjoy the last week in Italy.

The only thing I would recommend to the Hotel would be to supply a kettle for tea and coffee making or maybe a little bar fridge otherwise .

This is a great place to stay with fantastic views and the luxury of a lot of helpful staff. There was always at least a couple of staff around to answer questions, book tours or serve at the bar etc. We loved staying there and particularly enjoyed the spacious and rather luxurious common areas of this hotel, both inside and outside. We found the hotel to be a bit glamorous for 3 stars and the shuttle bus, organised coach tours and the attractive common areas get the guests mixing and chatting. We very much enjoyed the company of other guests, sitting in the comfortable and large lounge area. The restaurant is good too and the buffet breakfast large and generous. The shuttle bus stops running from about midday to about 5pm, but it is easy to pass the time in lovely Sorrento. There is plenty of free parking too.

The cupboard door in our room was sticking at the bottom, which I would not have expected from a 3 star hotel at this price. Our room did not get a lot of sun, but the pool deck, common balcony areas and sundeck do. On the whole, our room was not as luxuriously appointed as the common areas were. But the common areas are on quite a grand scale, as is the view.

What an amazing view and the staff worked to make our stay enjoyable especially the front desk and the staff in resturant. It is such a great place to stay if you are planning on visiting the Amalfi Coast because of the close vicinity. We really appreciated the convienence of the hotels shuttle into town. It was such a short ride and loved the dropping off point close to everything. We had dinner at the hotel and it was well done with a fantastic view. Because you are in the mountains the mornings were so peaceful and you could hear all the birds. This really is the hotel with the most golden view as the name implies.

This is not an up to date, modern hotel, but rather a quaint hotel outside of the city with a fantastic view and great pool and staff.

The hotel staff are very friendly. During our stay it was my girlfriends birthday and they left champagne in our room, it was a pleasant surprise. The shuttle bus service to Sorrento town was extremely convenient and free of charge.

The staff was very helpful. The view and facilities were quite lovely. The location, thoug 15 minutes from town, was worth it due to the availability of the van service to and from town on a regular schedule.

The rooms were basic but clean.

Hotel was comfortable and friendly. Very quiet at night so not recommended for night life people. They supply a bus from the hotel into Sorrento which is good. Staff very friendly and helpful

Great views, nice staff, balcony off our room, pool & sun terrace, bar, decent restaurant, free shuttle bus, free parking. Regular ferry to Capri from Sorrento. We'd go back!

A bit far out from Sorrento, but the views and shuttle bus cancel this out. Also, the internet is in the lobby only, is slow and is chargeable (but only 1 Euro per hour)

Loved the lOcation out of the city! We had been staying in cities and was nice to have quiet resort feel . In the hills overloOking the city, Vesuvius and the bay, we booked a standard room and they upgraded us to a water view with balcony. There were fireworks, a beautiful 30inute dislay over the bsy thst we could watch grom our balcony!We asked to stay a second night, they allowed the upgrade again at the standard rate. It seems that bus tours stay here so there is opportunity to meet and talk with other guests in the large lobby with bar and couches for the evening. Pool area is beautiful views

The shuttle bus runsornings, evenings and even late night, but had a gab of a few hours in the afternoon. However a city bus can deliver

Tinned fruit at breakfast. Really expect fresh fruit as it is plentiful in southern Italy. Room booked was a bit disappointing. Booked superior with sea view but as room was at side of hotel, view was limited and initial room very small although staff were happy to move us to a bigger room. There were clearly much better rooms in the hotel and as I had booked the most superior/expensive room type available, I would have expected to be in one of those.

Fantastic views over the bay of Sorrento to Vesuvius on the other side. The hotel was a perfect spot for relaxation and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive when offering advice on restaurants and excursions. When we return to Sorrento we will definitely stay at this hotel

Fantastic view of the Bay of Naples. Nice, clean rooms. Lobby is wide, airy and friendly.

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, because it was family run and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean and fresh with good facilities throughout. The view from the hotel was stunning and the swimming pool and aircon were very welcome, when the temperatures reached the high 90's.

There wasn't a fridge in the room and it was a distance from any shops (although the courtesy bus was very efficient and always on time).
