This place is a gem. A quiet country retreat outside of Firenza with great amenities. We were looking for place to unwind after a whirlwind 3 weeks traveling Italy and this was perfect. Close enough to visit Florence but set in the quiet countryside with classic Tuscan views. Peaceful and beautiful setting made relaxing easy. Liked having our own small kitchen and the available larger kitchen for cooking bigger meals. (and espresso machine!) Instead, we ended up grilling dinner in the awesome pavilion. In fact, I think we ate all our meals outdoors in various settings. Marco, the wonderful proprietor, pointed us to fabulous restaurants we never would have found on our own. When we arrived in the early evening after a long day's sweaty travel with a 13 yr old we explained we'd like to go get some dinner -- would it be possible to take a late night swim. Marco responded -- "late night swim's are encouraged." We knew we'd found our spot. (Pool is awesome by the way!) This place is everything it looks to be. Highly recommend and hope we get to return soon!
