The hotel was in a perfect location! We could walk everywhere and it was only a few minutes from the metro stop. Pino, the owner was great! The room was adorable, clean and had lots of space. We would stay here next time we are in Rome!!!
It was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was actually a pretty good size. Very close to the Vatican. Excellent location to restaurants, metro, and Vatican City.
I little hard to find the place.
Cleaning, Position, Kind staff , Good price
Bed a little old, breakfast not so plenty
Apart from a nice and clean apartment at a great location, the landlord, Pino, was really helpful and ready to provide assistance with transfers at reasonable charges. After our stay at Le Rupole, we went to Amalfi coast for a week and returned to Rome for a few more days. This time, we stayed at another of his apartment. He was kind to pick us up from the Termini station and sent us to this new apartment at no charge.
The best place in Rome, the location is perfect and the staff is very polite! If i go to Rome again I will use Le Cupole for sure..
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (we were in the one with the roses) was nice, big and clean. The ac helped during the warm nights. The beds are a bit short, but that's quite common in Italy. The breakfast was authentic: coffe and some home made cake. The location is right at the Vatican walls and therefore not that close to the city centre.
Everything was better than we expected. The location of B & B at 5 min. away from entrance at Vatican Museums, at 3 minutes away from the best gelateria in Rome (in Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie) and 5 minutes from the entrance at subway. The Room and the bath were spacious and clean, wi-fi was good. The cake and espresso was a charming start for a day. Mr. Pino was very friendly (as well as all the people I've met here), he agreed to make for us check-in late. I liked everything.
Proprietor is great. Very friendly, very helpful guy. Location close to Vatican is good, but a hike from the main part of Rome. Bed was comfortable. Good wifi.
Below average breakfast. Hotel is located in an office and apartment complex and hard to find. Shower basin did not drain well and filled up quickly, making for a very short shower.
Pino is very nice. Room was spacious, clean and has a balcony.
Nothing really. The location is near Vatican, not very close to city center, but it's not a problem to us.
Nice, clean b&b at a good location.. What else do you wish?
The taxi-transfer back to the airport was quite stressfull
Location is perfect just 200 meters' away from the entrance to the Vatican Museum .
breakfast could be more plenty
Super location (near Vatican, 100 m to Metro station), great host Pino, nice rooms, very friendly atmosphere
I liked everything. The rooms were fantastic. The location is great. I highly recommend it.
location is great, it is at right out of the vatican border wall, which means you can walk to the vatican museum in 2 mins. Also you can find some convenient shops and restaurant nearby.
bit difficult to locate, as there is no big sign on the street side. it is actually a flat in the building 84, so you will need to buzz the room in front of the building door and wait somebody to answer the door, thats why you do need to mention to staff the time you will arrive approximately.
The room was spacious and cutely decorated. The bathroom was very nice as well. The cake and cappuccino was a lovely start to the day.
It is a nice location if you are planning on only going to the Vatican. It is at least an 1 hour walk to the Colosseum.
The location of this place was perfect. Within walking distance of Vatican City and the metro. If you're up for walking, you can walk to the Colosseum and Trevi fountain from here also. The place was impeccably clean, and the service great. Mr Pino offered to pick us up at the airport for less than the cost of a taxi. I would definitely recommend you do this as the place would have been hard to find otherwise. The room is a great size, we had 4 pieces of luggage and had plenty of room for all of it. Breakfast was small, pastries and coffee. I wouldn't expect a large "American" breakfast here or anywhere else in italy. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a great location with great accommodations!
The shower was small, but after being to a few cities in Europe on this trip, that seems to be a common theme.
A small room in a Rome apartment building, perfectly suitable for a night or two. The bathroom was clean, the room tidy. The location was great, right on the Vatican walls, with excellent shopping right in the neighborhood.
The breakfast was simple, but sufficient. We got lucky with a parking spot on the street, but it probably could have been an issue.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Located in a quiet area very near the Vatican, so an excellent location if intending to visit the latter. Also not far from the Metro so one can easily visit the main tourist areas downtown.
Pino was excellent host loved the location the rooms and the restaurant that was suggested to us would definitely stay again
Pino is an absolute gem. He always has time to answer your questions, give advice and makes the best cappuccino in Rome.
The breakfast included could have had more variety such as toast and cereals.
It was very clean.
The breakfast place was too small. No more than two people could be in that small room. For the money of the room breakfast could be better, just a pice of panettone and a coffee. Too expensive just for sleeping becuase during the day we were visiting the places.
The place looks like new, nice and clean. Big bathroom with a shower cabin. The location is great: metro across the street, walking distance to Vatican and city, restaurants around. Free coffee and soft drinks and WiFi are a nice touch. Price depends on the season but is very competitive. We just wanted a well located B&B and Le Cupole exceeded our expectations. Will book it again next time.
Breakfast could be richer (yoghurt, a slice of salami and cheese perhaps). The sweet bread and nutella was good though.
Pino was very friendly and the facilities were really very smart for a B and B. Great location for Vatican museum and metro.
Breakfast was quite limited but only a minor point.
It's well located; Pino, the owner, is friendly, open and helpful. Everything is clean and looks good. The owner and staff care about everyone, and it feels great.
It was really cold, even having windows closed, heating on and air-conditioning on in heating mode I still couldn't sleep because of the temperature in there. There're no signs or banners on the place, had to call the owner for meeting me. Breakfast is too light.
Price, Mr. Pino, clean, Quality...
