Beautiful location in vineyard and the surrounding forest. Nice garden to sit at in the evening or morning. You eat in a cute converted barn for breakfast. Breakfast had both sweet and savory options. Host was very accommodating and nice. The room was spotless and was beautiful inside. Would highly recommend!

Ancient but recently renovated villa in classical Tuscan countryside. Great views. A generous breakfast (good coffee!) catering to a wide range of tastes shared with other guests in a homely kitchen environment. Fresh produce (figs/wine etc) from the estate was a bonus.Above all it was the generosity of the hosts and their obvious pride in their villa and willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible that shone trough.

What an amazing place. Just incredible. Ancient building with so much history & charm. Fantastic views and gardens.
A restaurant with food so good I asked to meet chef and shake his hand and say thank you.
Fantastic evening ended with drinks in the bar and a game of billiards.
Brilliant hotel and will return to Italy just to stay here again

Vagliagli is centrally located but really in the middle of...
Vagliagli is centrally located but really in the middle of nowhere! If you like flat, dusty gravel roads and have a 4x4 it is no problem but most of the access roads to nearby villages are not the most comfortable to tour around by car. To get to anywhere from Vagliagli you need to rejoin the motorway (south to Sienna and north to Firenze) - as we found out from the lady at the tourist office in Radda! The village is not geared up for tourists and is mainly residential with no facilities to speak of other than a couple of remote restaurants and a village convenience store with a limited stock. L'Osteria Cacio e Pepe was our best find for dinner on our last evening but again it is in the middle of nowhere. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to visit Vagliagli again. Staying closer to Sienna or Firenze - and in an apartment rather than an agriturismo - would be my choice for future visits. Great for a day of local wine and olive oil tasting at the many agriturismo places.

First of all, it is the winery, so we had a lovely view from our terrace and we were able to relax with the glass of wine made by our host. Sandro, the host, was very helpful and he has organized a wine testing session for us for free. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, we had refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee, tea and bottled water at our disposal. Every morning we had very tasty italian breakfast made of local products and delicious cappuccino.

The pool is just there, incredible so you can admire the landscape from the water. The apartment #1 has a wonderful view and a common terrace to have meals. Owners are lovely, honest and doing their best for you. We’ll come back!
