Called a hotel, but only served a very modest breakfast which makes it a B&B. Difficult to find. Its up a very narrow 'alleyway' where you cannot take a car. NOT at all a place for anyone with walking problems or a lot of luggage.
Parking is a serious problem (in any town in Sicily) and it was impossible to find a place within reasonable walking distance of the 'hotel'.(E2.40 ticket required for either a morning or afternoon's parking in the street - free on Sundays and between (approx.) 20.00 and 08.00 hours and something like 13.00-16.00).
Very limited mini-bar in the bedroom and the so-called hotel served no drinks which, in view of the pleasant rooftop terrace, was a great pity, as a chilled glass or two of nice white wine would have gone down a treat !!
A lot of money has gone into the construction of this small B&B and it is very attractive inside with each room named after a flower.
Good sized bedroom, comfortable beds (large double - two singles attached ??), plenty of drawers and hanging space. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant rooftop terrace. Quiet location. Central location for restaurants, etc.
