Overlooking one of Milan's most characteristic squares, Piazza Duca d'Aosta, the hotel is well known for its vibrant cultural surroundings, only a short drive from the cultural and financial hub.

Opened in 1932, Le Méridien Gallia features a dominant and memorable Art Nouveau façade, within easy access of Milan’s main attractions, including the designer shopping streets of Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. You can also visit the Pinacoteca di Brera, founded by Napoleon, which displays stunning Venetian and Lombard masterpieces and the works of Rubens and Rembrandt.

The hotel benefits from excellent transport links and can be found close to the central railway station (Stazione Centrale) and the airport terminal, making it an ideal destination for both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel boasts 10 multi-functional modular conference and meeting rooms for up to 600 people, as well as a business centre, making this an ideal place for group incentives or private parties. The Gallia has introduced a real-time service in co-operation with a global financial company, offering information regarding market trends, stock market updates, exchange rates, deposits, securities etc, which can be accessed through the television.

Flip charts, AV Equipment, internet and video conferencing facilities are available on request.

HSIA internet is available in all rooms and public areas. Wi-Fi is also available in public areas of the hotel. (HSIA is charged at EUR 23 per day, Wi-Fi is EUR 7 per hour).

The fitness centre is open 24 hours a day, free of charge.

The beauty centre is open from 10:00 - 20:00 Monday to Saturday, it is closed on Sundays.

Small pets are accepted, with prior notice, free of charge.

Food & beverage

Baboon Bar is open from 09:00 to 01:00.

Ristorante Gallia is open for Breakfast from 07:00 - 10:30, Lunch from 12:30 - 14:30 and Dinner from 19:30 - 22:30.

Friendly staff, good location, nice size room

No mention was made that there is extreme noise from the tram. The cost for internet useage and bottled water was ridiculous and the most annoyingly memorable thing from the entire stay....just stupid. Minor repairs would have made the room look cleaner and better maintained.

staff communication poor, hotel was half empty- got a room to the fire escape-no windows! prices tragic- room service food was terrible! shame on meridien to keep such a hotel! the worst experience ever!!!! will never return!!!! they r just playing on the meridien name to attract customers!! staff- terrible!

This hotel might have been a 5 star hotel 20 years ago but now it is not. The furniture is old and broken, the hotel is noisy (Trams around the clock) and entrance door was rotating the standards doors were closed.

the bed is very comfortable and the hotel builday is very grand

the location near the train station where you can find a lot of pick pockets, the room has no view and the lighting in the room is poor, bathroom factcility is out dated, service at reception was bad

price of breakfast (35 euros) & extra (8 euros a mineral water from mini bar), welcome desk , breakfast very disappointing
