1. This property is a few steps from the main square of Perugia thus extremely well located for exploring the town. 2. The apartment is a decent size and well furnished. 3. The owner, Signora Carla was extremely charming and helpful. It felt like staying with a friend.
1. Traffic noise very early in the morning from the street below. The windows should be double glazed. 2. The toilet is so close to the shower stall that it is almost difficult to use. 3. Car access and parking are almost impossible - but that is the case everywhere in Perugia.
Location was perfect, just below the Piazza Italia in the heart of the old city. The room was very nice, very clean in a charming old building.
One room further down the hall and the view would have been better
Good price value proposition, conveniently located close to Piazza Italia (end point for bus), very friendly service
Kitchen and utensile too limited for cooking.
The location, grandeur and spaciousness of the building and apartments, friendly welcome.
Our room was lovely, full of light and had a view, but it faced directly on to the road and bus noise from 5.30am could be an issue for the light sleeper. Other rooms are not on the road so should be quieter.
Location, cleanliness of bathroom, Carla's friendliness and prompt attention to a minor problem.
More street/traffic noise than expected.
Location was good. Apartments are located in traffic restricted area. Owner suggested we catch escalators up to plaza however escalotors are not working and in any case do not go all the way to plaza. If you are elderly that means you have to carry bags up many steps - not good. Apartments are located in good location but outside of the building is very offputting. Requested non smoking but that doesn't exist in these apartments and they reek of cigarette smoke. One apartment has mezzanine area for sleeping so be aware.
Poor access with bags, cigarette smell, haphazard approach to assistance by manager/owner, shower so tiny if you drop the soap forget it.
Lovely room with warm and helpful staff. Beautiful furnishings. Close to everything...make sure you check out the nearby gourmet beer shop. Access to a washing machine would be even better.
Parking in "old" Perugia is very difficult - we parked in the car park behind the train station for 17 euro per night
I liked the small kitchen, closeness to main street and bus terminal.
The single bed had sheets, and only a cotton bedspread and one blanket.I needed to have the heaters on at night. I was a bit concerned that if anything happened - fire or emergency that I needed an Italian mobile phone to ask for help.
The apartment is safe, central and well maintained. We were greeted by the very happy and friendly owner who made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with everything.
hard to locate
very good location in historical center of the city. I recommand to everybody coming to Perugia by car to take a private parking in the garrage. That's really comfortable
Very secure, very quiet, clean apartment with character. Lovely, modern bathroom fixtures.
No comfortable chair to watch TV or read.
Wonderful location in the historic centre - close to everything bus stop, bus station, restaurants and sights and even a little shop making their own pasta. Carla was very sweet - waited when our train was two hours late. The aprtment was in a very old interesting building but we felt very safe there and on the streets.
We found the bed hard and uncomfortable.
what you can see from booking pictures do not match with the reality. location difficult to reach, personnel kind, but room given different from the booked one and was told that we should have read carefully the details in the description. the room was small, not so clean, and the only good point was the location in the centre, but value for money do not match. the room in the night was quite noisy, on the road, furniture very old (not antiques...), just old and not comfortable. i have slept in a sofa, not in a bed, as the double bed was not given (it was the opened sofa....).
Very secure, quiet, comfortable, owner very helpful and friendly. Great wine bar on the corner- 'Bonazzi' great for breakfast, lunch and apertivo.
Excellent location in a splendid palazzio
Little bit noisy, stringent cancellation policy
We got a suite because we asked separated beds
The bathroom small and a litle oldfashioned. Nice pool but not very clean obvious hardly used
A warm welcome from Carla - centrally located - very comfortable and quiet. The apartment was well equipped and the furnishing were of a very high quality. Thank you to Carla for the hearty farewell and for her warmth and generosity.
Location. Loft bedroom with very comfortable bed and lovely touches throughout. Problem with TV was fixed immediately.
No lounge in our apartment, just 2 quite uncomfortable chairs
The snacks left for breakfast
IMPOSSIBLE to find.. No number & NO sign. Off the street, 2 entrances which was confusing as we phoned 3 times before it was discovered we were at the wrong entrance!!! A/C was new but dodgy. very noisy as our room Was the nearest to a busy road.
Beautiful old townhouse, spacious, well equipped room. Friendly and helpfull staff.
We had a room on the street side, a bit noisy if you want sleep with open windows.
The location was fabulous right in the old town. The apartment was on the ground floor at the entrance. The bedroom was a generous size. There was a welcome basket of assorted biscuits, teas, jams, etc. The owner was welcoming and helpful.
The kitchen was minimal, cooking wasn't encouraged. The electric kettle barely reached the power point, the 2 hot plates were old and inefficient, no extractor, minimal pots ,pans, crockery etc. , and cleaning products. The bathroom was modern and well supplied, but the shower was quite small .
It is a quirkie hotel but once you adapt to that its very comfortable and a great location. Its nice to have some cooking facilities and ingredients for a light breakfast had been generously provided.
It is difficult to find as the sign is about the size of an envelope. Being alone the entrance was also a bit "spooky". But once installed I felt safe and it was very quiet.
Carla our host was excellent. It was a home away from home.
No dislikes at all.
Carla was lovely. Our room had very pleasant views. The apartment was charmingly decorated in a tasteful, non-fussy way. V close to all we wanted.
Maybe fresh towels would have been good. Our stay was 3 nights/4 days so I can understand that was maybe on the edge of necessary replacement but when you are travelling fresh is appreciated. I think it would also have been good if maybe at least on each 2nd day someone swept and removed garbage.
