We loved this place from top to bottom. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was beautiful and relaxing and the surroundings breathtaking! Only wished we had longer to stay. We would not hesitate for an instant if given the opportunity to return. Thank you for making our stay in Cortona so memorable.

Beautifully restored Tuscan farm buildings and very tastefully furnished with lovely people

We stayed there for ine night, and we regret not staying longer. The hospitality and staff was perfect. We arived at 8pm and they were nice enough to wait for us. The restaurant was open that night, we had a hime cooked diner and wine, it was amazing. We had a small issue with our bathroom, so Paulo changed our room. The rooms are super comfy and cozy, and so is the big common area. Waking up there is like no other, surrounded by fields and sun, and breakfast on the terrace, just perfect. This is a very well done family run countryhouse. Definitely going again, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful setting and buildings, ideal as a base to explore the surrounding areas,Cortona,Arezzo,Sansepulcro etc. Very relaxing and good home cooked food (not every night) Very helpful staff and beautiful rustic rooms

Our stay at Le Terre Dei Cavalieri was the highlight of our cross country trip through Italy. Expansive grounds, simple but elegantly decorated rooms and sitting areas, combined with truly hospitable hosts made this a wonderful place to stay. We drove a rental car and from here it was a ten minute drive to Cortona, 60 minutes to Montelcino or Montepulciano, or lass than 90 minutes to Assissi. Best of all, it's located in some of the most scenic areas in Tuscany.

I booked it without really seeing. We loved and enjoyed everything from the moment we arrived until we departed (wish we could have stayed longer). I can only say good things, from the warm greeting, to the beautiful, clean and comfortable room, to the atmosphere, to the lovely breakfast and the relaxing countryside surroundings. Close proximity to the beautiful town of Cortona. We will definitely return and for a much longer stay.

This is a wonderful warm and friendly place to stay, the staff are great, and very knowledgable of the surrounding areas. This was our second stay here and we will come back again next year without fail. The breakfast is inluded in the deal and they also serve lunch and dinner on request. We chose to have the dinner one night which was superb and great value for money, they great selection of wine.

This place is just simply gorgeous. The family have renovated tumble- down farm buildings with absolutely fabulous taste with comfort in mind - it's just lovely! The grounds are great, the pool is refreshing and the surrounds of farmland and grapevines just so relaxing and enchanting, we didn't want to leave. The restaurant serves good meals most days with a fairly limited menu, which is handy if you're tired of driving around Tuscany for a bit. The breakfast buffet is lovely (however it's Italy, so don't expect a fry up whatever you do). The family and staff are really helpful and super-friendly. Voted by some of our group as "Number 1 for B&Bs run by handsome, young Italian men" thanks to Marco. And if you want to book an entire place for a wedding or big stay-over party in Italy, this would be the place. Some buildings even come with a full kitchen you can use. It doesn't get better than this!

Above all, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was perfect and we had an extremely relaxing week, though we could visit the nearby hill towns easily if we wished.

The bikes were not all in working order.

We had a lovely stay at Le Terre Dei Cavalieri, we loved the charm of the guest house and the view / surrounding countryside is really beautiful. Fantastic location very close to Cortona, but peaceful and very comfortable stay. Our room was very traditional, classic Italian and spacious (we had a suite so an extra room with kitchenette). The breakfast was great, swimming pool really relaxing and the staff were very friendly.

Le Terre Dei Cavalieri is our new favorite place to stay in Cortona. The high standards of the facilities and the grounds are only exceeded by the hospitality of the owners and the staff. This was our second vacation in Cortona, but our first stay at the Le Terre Dei Cavlieri. We will return to both Cortona and Le Terre Dei Cavlieri and we have recommended it to family and friends.

Excellent location close to Cortona, large rooms furniture, clean with modern conveniences,friendly and helpful staff, fantastic and reasonably priced food (eat there not in town). Overall, a great experience.

The country setting, quiet and swimming pool. Reasonable price.

Being English speaking guest there was little effort placed on briefing us on the facilities but later learned the primary guest manager, who spoke English was off sick. While it was in Tuscany, distance to Chianti and Montocino wine areas were further than we thought so as a home base, it was not as conveinent as expected. Lastly, the room was infested with cockroaches. It was obvious upon arrivAl as I saw them in the doorways. I mentioned this to staff and received a "sorry about that" we will see what we can do. I noted many were dead the next day. Quite frankly, I guess I was expecting more than just that since it was obvious upon arrival it was a issue in the entrance way. I think there are better options out there.

After the hustle and bustle of Rome this was a welcome retreat in the country. Not hard to find thanks to good directions. The word charming does not begin to describe this place. It is so much more. Marco was a delightful host as was his father. His mother prepared a lovely dinner our first night. Breakfast in the dining room was wonderful with ample choices. I would love to stay here for a month and just sit by the pool and read and take an occasional side trip into Cortona.

What's not to like? This place has place haas captured the market on peace and quiet. You just sit by and watch the grapes grow.

Everything. It was a wonderful vacation which we enjoyed quite a lot. Dinner every second evening was delicious!

Everything was fantastic. This is a place to truly relax. The sites nearby are beautiful and then to come back to a quiet environment with a nice pool and beautiful food and wine.

The staff of Le Terres dei Cavalieri were very gracious and warm and that made our stay more comfortable and memorable on top of their excellent rooms and facilities. We stayed July 12 to 17 and at that time the sunflowers were at its peak and we enjoyed biking around the flowers. I surprised my friend for his 50th bday by having dinner and the staff esp Eugenia made the party so beautiful with home cooked meals so appetizing and flavorful, the location although not in the center of Cortona, was not a problem to us, we rented a car ( a must i guess) and enjoyed driving around the hilly towns of Tuscany.

Fatastic service, great house, staff being very private but avaliable at any time. One really nice experience, and I really hope to be back. At the moment of checking out and paying our bill I had some problems with my credit cards, but on the end the owner was verry understanding and everything was settled great. the owner do not speak english, but with hus kind and nice manners everything went great. Keep the good work ...

I was a bit dissapioned with bicycles, which was included in the offer, but notihing to stop me planning on visiting property again, with my bicycle :)

My husband and I loved La Terre Dei Cavalieri! This is exactly what you picture when you think of staying in a Tuscan farmhouse. You feel right at home and can easily relax while surrounded by sunflower and wheat fields. The owner, Palo, and his family cooks dinner most nights and it was delicious! We usually ventured off for wine tasting or exploring hill towns during the morning/afternoon and then would return to relax by the pool before dinner. The room at this hotel was our favorite on our two week trip. Serena was also very helpful with her recommendations for things to do in the area.
