I must say I am most happy with Cosimo Hotel, just 3 minutes walk from the central station so its very convinient for the luggage. Also 5 minutes from the Duomo and the market. All main attractions are within walking distance. Also everything was very clean and the room service changed towels everyday. The staff is very helpfull and polite and breakfast is nice. Nothing fancy but Just great. The value for money is excelent. You get excactly what you pay. So if you wish a five star service maybe this isn't for you. Highly recomended if you want something good and affordable. The only minimal is that the entrance is a little hidden but if you pay attention at the numbers you can't miss it. So its nothing.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant - right across from the train station, but in the heart of the city and a short walk to the major attractions. The bathroom was large and accommodated our young family well. The price was very good and breakfast nice.

The first room that they gave me it was horrible, decrepit, ruined curtains.... The opposite of the photographs. Breakfast very poor and basic. After complaining they gave me another room (illegal for sure) but a little bit better.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. The location was good. The rooms were dark because we were on the backside of the hotel. There was no place to just sit.

We loved the location of this hotel. It is very near the main train station and the area is safe and clean, which I was a little worried about. Almost all of the Florence sites are in easy walking distance (Uffizi, Academia - David, Duomo - Santa Maria del Fiore Basilica, and the Ponte Vecchio just to name some). We also loved the full breakfast served each morning, which included barista made cappucinos or espressos. The front desk was open 24 hours and were always pleasant and very helpful. The free wifi internet was also very nice to have. We would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Florence.

Just ok, reasonably priced Difficult to find, if you come by car even GPS will not help you much. The main problem is heating. It was rather cold and they turn on the central heating only for a few hours in the evening. The a/c remote does not work so you cannot turn the heat on. When I reported the problem they told me that they cannot help me because they do not have split systems in rooms (a/c was blowing hot air at the reception!) and the heating is on from 7pm. It was cold! Room is small and dark, you can hardly turn around inside.

A good hotel. Some minor complains but nothing relevant. New and clean. A satisfatory breakfast. You can trust on it. Although the internet connection was free and by cable it was not stable. The lights of the apartment are too much dim so it´s hard to do some work or writing. They are very concerned about water use and there are a lot of counters at various places on bathroom to count how much water you spend.

Great location close to the station and Piazza Santa Maria Novella and just a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Walked past the entrance a couple of times when we arrived initially. Was expecting it to be on the main road, but its positioned through an archway with only a small sign indicating entrance.

The staff was simply fantastic! The room was nice and clean and a very decent size. The breakfast was the best I've had in the last 4 weeks of travelli in Europe. The staff was very accommodating. They did everything in their power to assist me. Will definitely come back and recommend you to stay there.

Our family rated this hotel 6 out of 10. It was very difficult to find because of the surrounding traffic and street names. The room was small but modern with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was ok but not great. There are plenty of eating places nearby and it is within walking distance to the main rail station. The city centre is at least a 20 minute walk away. This is a very busy part of the city and noisy. The car park was hopelessly inadequate and cost 12 euro a night. It is a little expensive for what you get, but it is Florence.

The family room that was given to us was big and complete with kitchen facilities. There was something unusual about the room. We felt a little creepy, the lighting was not very bright. We seemed to hear unusual noises. I suggest the mannequin in the room in the loft should be removed.

I enjoyed very good staying here. It is closed to the main station, and front of the hotel, there is a supermarket. it was also easy to go sight-seeing.

“The location was great. Walking distance from the train station (be sure to get directions as we walked in the wrong direction) and walking distance to all the main sites. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was small (but you're in a city after all), and it was very clean and modern. When i return to Florence I would definitely stay here again! ” Theresa, East Brunswick |
