Very friendly staff, receptionist was very helpful

A bit isolated if visit during off season

good location, good breakfast menu, free wlan (unfortunately not in rooms)

local youth at night directly in front of the hotel including their fireworks, if you come from a country with nice bread, the dry,hard little bread rolls are painful

Bed was uncomfortable - far too hard we both got backache from sleeping in the bed. Tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice.

There was a girl working at the front desk when we checked in on Friday, the 23rd of October who was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I wish I could remember her name but she had dark hair and spoke excellent English. She told me that she had learned it so well by living in California for awhile. Vivenia or something similar ~ she continued to be helpful all weekend. She worked late that Saturday night and really helped us with our train tickets.

With such a nice staff, I hate to say anything negative. But I have to tell you that I did not think the breakfast was good at all. Even the fruit was not acceptable. The apples were old and shriveled. The milk that I tried to put on my cereal was warm. There has to be an easy way to keep it cold. We did not eat dinner there, so maybe that food is better. But, honestly, breakfast was not acceptable.

The location of this hotel was its main selling point, sitting right next to Lake Como. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Location in a small town but close to other towns and good access to the ferries. Dinner was good quality and value with a set price menu offering sufficient choice to suit most guests staying more than one night.Room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was huge.

Jacuzzi bathtub. Breakfast served on terrace overlooking lake.

Friendly obliging staff in a quiet location away from the otherwise very busy roads round lake como. Perfect for relaxing downtime with good transport links on the doorstep if you choose to go exploring.

The excellent location and ambiance. Lovely gardens and breakfast room and deck. The staff were very helpful and gracious.

Did not care for the decor of the bedrooms. Quite plain and cold looking. Also the bed was not comfortable.

No the limited menu criticised by other guests ' comments when booking was not a really fair as two choices for each course was more than adequate - top class chef excellent well cooked food

A quiet location next to the lake. Ferries depart from opposite to various locations. The room was very spacious and very clean.

Restaurant only between 1900 & 2100, but this seems to be the usual in this area. Not easy to find somewhere to eat if you arrive late in the evening.

This hotel is in an excellent lake side position
