Hotel was clean and comfortable in a good location.
Meals were nice but service was very very slow in restaurant.
A kettle in the room but NO coffee!
The hotel was clean and the room a good size and well furnished. The bath was modern and well appointed.
The hotel has a number of ramps and steps throughout which make it difficult\to get luggage (even carry-ons) to and from the room.
Nice driver for the airport shuttle Nice pool Ok hotel, if you dont count the resturant
The quality of the food and the staff was maybe the worst i`ve ever seen. People waiting for food for hours, no communicating from the staff. If there is someone new or something wrong that night, give the visitors infomation. The pizza I had for lunch in the bar, after been eating lovely italian pizza for 2 weeks, they should be fired for making that pizza. Terrible.
This place is very handy if you need to catch a plane early in the morning, since it provides a shuttle bus to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room clean and quiet.
Great location for FCO Very nice staff Comfortable, quiet room
Room needed maintenance; light bulb out, mildew in bathroom, bathroom door loose, etc. All small stuff but needs to be done.
The amenities were good if the pool would have been open that would have been much better. Food was good bar was great the service was good. The beds were great and pillows .
The air conditioner was out and very uncomfortable to sleep which that is why we were there did not like paying for to and from airport service.
Relaxed surroundings and location to the airport.Reception office staff helpful.
Had to wait a long time for our evening meal, and did not receive our dessert, still waiting!! The steps when stepping out of lift into downstairs lobby are dangerous in particular for senior citizens when carrying luggage.
Just like being in USA.
Airport shuttle expensive. Breakfast way over priced. Felt like they were taking advantage of their guests. Find a better value for your money.
One call to reception resulted in visit from maintenance man within 15 mins. Problem fixed immediately. This was 21:00hrs!
Management in restaurant could have been better. Some diners were witnessed waiting too long for attention and delivery of food.
The room itself was nice. Free wi-fi. Restaurant and bar area were nice and comfortable for a person traveling alone. Shuttle service to airport was good and only cost 7 euros. (Free would have been better for such a short distance!)
* Attaining shuttle service to the hotel was difficult. No response from hotel to my e-mail the day before. No response to my phone calls. Cost me 25E by taxi to travel 3km. * Check in clerk repeated me and giggled every time I responded "Si" or "Grazie." (I had been in Italy for 1 month and speak some Italian). She acted as though she was mocking me. * Hair all over the bathroom floor of my room and an open half-full bottle of ginger ale on the dresser. * No place to get exchange bills for change in the hotel. Therefore, there was no tip left for housekeeping, shuttle driver, or breakfast attendant.
Expensive to get to hotel Carpet needed cleaning in room Needs repairs and maintenance
Nothing much to like except that the concierge was helpful in organising a taxi during busy morning.
Hotel smells like a hospital. Found hair in the bathtub. Aircon despite bringing it down to a low temperature did not work (yes it was switched on). Breakfast - you eat it because you need to!
Location for our purpose which was "in transit to Malta"
The air conditioning situation
Not much in the area. Ate at the hotel bar. Pizza crust was hard-tack; frozen?
Very insensitive employees -- after we inquired about a wonderful Asian Buffet (( in a room off the dining room with no "Private" signs we were told that was ONLY for the Airline Staff. That's fine but after they were all gone they would not serve us. No " private" or any other signs displayed --- the bar and Dining room food was overpriced and stale and tasteless! After we sent it back and asked for a Manager, no apology or even any attempt to make us happy. They have very much a "we are the Airport Hotel so we really don't care"
dining and staff service
The service in the restaurant and bar was very poor: slow, servers who didn't seem to know what to do or how to do it, they needed many reminders. The quality of the food is mediocre and the price does not reflect the quality they claim. There is no indication where to find the shuttle bus at the airport nor do the airport workers seem to know where to find the shuttle bus. It was a very long wait at the airport for the shuttle bus.
Convenience to airport
when we booked this hotel, it was a Courtyard by Marriott. Now it has changed hands. The shuttle service was not available in the early morning when we needed to get to the airport. WiFi didn't work in our room, towels and linens were virtually worn out, beds were very bad. Only thing good about this facility is closeness to airport but a taxi to the airport (about 2 miles away) cost 25 euros!
It was O.K. for an over night.
Didn't care for the restaurant or the food. It looked more like a caferteria. Service was extremely slow.
The 10e happy hour was good
Had trouble getting there from the Rome train and had to take 25e taxi from the airport terminal.
The location is great and even though it is in Fiumincino, there are some good restaurants around. The pool and fitness center are excellent. The staff appears to be friendly and willing, but is mainly comprised of trainees. Good wifi and TV coverage. The facility, previously managed by Courtyard Marriott, obviously needs some investment in maintenance and upkeep.
The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, but was somewhat shopworn. The bath tub featured large areas of mold and mildew, which some bleach would definitely take care of. The shower curtain was badly frayed and stained. The food selection was good, but also tired in its presentation and taste. Did not like being charged 8 Euro's for a well brand scotch.
This hotel was close to airport, had a good bedroom and as we arrived around 3pm could have a swim in the pool and relax in the garden
convenience shuttle to airport in am
rip off taxi from the airport-put me in a foul mood-other wise nothing
