A recent and meticulous refurbishing of Hotel Leonardo da Vinci has enhanced its character, rendering its atmosphere even more elegant and tasteful. Wide spaces with a minimalist flavour, pared-down furnishing and the simple refinement of subdividing spaces with shapes and colours create a pleasant and contemporary setting.

This inviting ambiance is offered to guests at a strategic location, only 300 metres from the Santa Maria Novella train station, on the borders of the historical centre of Florence. The Exhibition Hall (Fortezza da Basso) and the Congress Centre (Palazzo dei Congressi) are a short 5 minute walk away.

Nice hotel, clean, 15 minutes by walking to touristic centers

Car parking is expensive, you can park your car near the hotel for a few euros

The breakfast was great

The charge of 15 euro for a baby cot was ridiculous and the charge to use their parking was too high! The train station is less than 50 meters away and is very loud!

I liked the look of the rooms and the lobby. Breakfast was good for Italy and was included in the price of the room.

The bathroom had not been cleaned very thoroughly and the hotel is so close to the train station that you can hear the voice making announcement on the platforms and of course the trains. If you don't want to sleep long in the morning it's ok because there are no trains during the night, but after 8am, it's impossible to sleep.

The front office manager and bar / catering manager were particularly good - very impressive customer service, handy locaation to the station and a short walk to town

We actually asked to move rooms after the first night of our stay (as the rear rooms located closer to the railway were noisy despite the hotel claiming they had soundproof rooms). The front office manager was extremely helpful in offering us an alternative room which was much better - great customer service guys!

Staff very helpful in all respects. We had to leave at 5.30am in the morning before the restaurant was open for breakfast, but we were presented with packed breakfasts on leaving.

The parking is safe the breakfast good and it is in the very centre of the city… for an 3* Hotel it is one of the best choices you can make.

The bar in the Hotel has poor service if you go during dinner time, since the barman is also the waiter of the restaurant.
