Excellent proximity to the centre of Florence and the train station. All the staff, from front of house through to the bar/restaurant were fantastic, extremely helpful and courteous. Double glazing would be nice.

I thought the staff at the front desk were particularly helpful & friendly. When we arrived at the hotel we were helped with places of interest to see as we only had one day in Florence & we wanted to make the most of our time. We were also given a great recommendation to a restaurant nearby for lunch. Our departure from the hotel became a little confused & frantic as Hurricane Irene made our return to the ne us impossible. Again the staff at the front desk were very accommodating & helpful. So from our first encounter at the hotel to our departure - the service at the front desk was prosessional, helpful & friendly. Thank you! One small comment - we thought the carpet leading from lobby to the guest rooms & elevator looked a little "tired". It was worn in spots. The same for the some of the seats on the tall stools in the bar/restaurant.

Stayed at the Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci for 10 night. I really liked the location (very close to the train station), the quality of the rooms (even my single room was spacey with a balcony and well equipped) and the clean modern look.

Super friendly staff, stylish rooms, great breakfast, close to the train station and pretty much everything else. Good value for the $$. The hotel is on a busy road and if your room faces that road, be prepared for lots of traffic noises -- all night long. Would have been unbearable if we didn't have the airco to buffer the sound. The beds, too, were a little hard for my liking.

The staff was very courteous. The receptionist assisted me in finding addresses I had from over 70 years ago and inquired when she saw me next about my success. Staff also offered to make dinner reservations at various hotels to assure seating when we arrived. A hot item at breakfast would have been nice like scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs. Also a hot meat at breakfast on the weekends. On Sunday night we ate dinner at the hotel and very little on the menu was actually available.

The staff was great, especially Monia and Richard. The restaurant and bar are nice, and opened till 11pm in winter. The beds are hard, and the pillows should be upgraded, overall the room was basic but clean. Its a bit farther than advertised to the city center, in good weather its ok, but not in the cold and rain.

The style of the building and the decor was very nice. I thought that it looked very modern. The staff was very friendly and spoke great english which was important since my Italian is not strong. The walls are extremely, extremely thin. We could hear everything happening in the room next to us to include casual conversation. At one point our neighbors returned very late in the evening and spent a lot of time talking and they were vomitting which we could also hear. The beds are not comfortable. The shower would leak water onto the floor so when we got out of the shower we were standing in a puddle and any clothes on the floor were soaked. The only other thing was that they have a pond with fish that was very murky and needed cleaning. Normally that wouldnt bother me but, it was the roof of the bar and a major part of the design so I would expect it to be cleaner.

Very nice and clean Hotel with friendly English speaking staff. Location was perfect, close to the grand station. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The food at the Hotel was not the best. And with all the other choices of restaurants close by, it did not become an issue.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Having the restuarant was handy and all the staff were very helpful. The area is a little dodgy looking on first glance but is close to station and the Duomo is only 10-12 minutes good walk. Great internet access which is a must these days.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to help us with restaurant suggestions and reservations, and organising our time. Also the breakfast staff were very responsive to requests. On my arrival, my room was upgraded from a single to a double superior room, for the same price, which was most welcome! As they had some guests running the Florence marathon that weekend, breakfast was served from 6.30 onwards on that day--a great help to runners.

Staff was curteous and helpful. Its location was only a short walk to the market and historic areas of Florence, but it was far enough away that it wasn't right in the middle of the crowds and traffic. Quad room had an odd configuration with the shower opening out into the public area instead of the bathroom.

The hotel was very new and modern, rooms and bathroom were clean, good breakfast spread, friendly and helpful staff, free and good wifi reception from the rooms. Overall, exceeded my expectations! Not many shops/restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel was located near to the main road and the soundproofing wasn't very good, traffic sounds were loud from the room. Also, the hotel was located in a rather quiet area, where the shops closed early, so walking back to the hotel was unsettling especially after sunset due to the many shady characters around. If you're a solo traveler, I suggest that you stay in the city center nearer to the tourist attractions as it really isn't safe to walk back alone.

Very close to train station and easy to find. Room was large and very clean. Temperature of room a little hard to regulate (my mother was cold.) We skipped breakfast because we had to leave early however it smelled wonderful. Hotel stored our luggage all day for us while we explored Florence before we left. You could hear the street traffic and occasionally a train, although it did not bother us.

We were close to the heart of Florence without being in the non driving area. It was a 10 minute walk to most of the main attractions of Florence. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were very nice. We had a couple of drinks at the bar downstairs and the barman was great. We were able to get secure car parking for a reasonable price at the hotel. Some of the carpet was quite worn in the public areas and they were in the process of changing the restaurant menu, so lots of items were unavailable.
