Nice decoration and service.
I almost can't sleep because of a bad bed. The breakfast was so little. Need to phone call at arrival
The decoration is amazing. Great location in the city centre. You can walk everywhere from the hotel.
Luscious, quirky little hideaway an easy walk to everything you need in central Bologna, inside historic apartment building (3rd floor) with street views. It's true there is no lift - but really, if you've looked at the photos and you're a standard hotel kind of person, you already know this is not for you. However, if like us, you want a unique place to stay and talk about afterwards (or some over the top decorating ideas), highly recommended and vastly preferable to other options in this price bracket. Only a few rooms, self serve breakfast with great brioche/panini on enclosed terrace makes it feel like the whole thing is your own private palace.
A little difficult to find the first time, plus a few leaks in the shower, but the ambience and the charming owner more than made up for this.
first, owner did not show up only sent a friend/ guy that did not speak english and took money from us in cash (thankfully i asked for a receipt) second, only few days after we left the owner decided to take money from my husband's credit card...which was double amount of what we already paid in cash on the day of my arrival!!!! how is that possible???? there is no way in contacting her other than via phone (SHE DOES NOT REPLY TO YOUR EMAILS), when she pretends not to speak your language...we already tried before we left, asking about returning the key..she could not understand what we wanted to ask for/ about, finally told us to leave the key in the door...fine! hotel is incredibly loud at night, nobody cares that you want to sleep at 2 am, they just slam the doors and talk and scream and run around...maybe italians are that way, but trust me everybody needs some sleep. We are contacting booking.com to sort this out otherwise we will just inform the proper authorities. taking money from your credit card when you do not know about it is not ok. DO NOT BOOK THAT HOTEL
The B&B is located 1 block from the central train station making a great spot if you want to travel to and from the airport, to Ravenna, Parma etc. It is about a 10 min walk into the historic centre. The décor is a lovely Morrocan chic
The wifi was very slow. There is not always staff around
Big room. Modern bath. Love that we could hang out outside the room at d patio turn breakfast area. Coffee biscuits all day. Very relaxing.
Very cozy room, comfortable bed, a lot of small pretty things, everything very stylish and cute. Very nice location, 5 minutes from shopping galer, 5 minutes from Bologna central and 10 minutes by walk from city center, so you are just in the heart of Bologna. Everything you need to have a rest. We recommend this to everyone.
No window in the room, but air conditioning solve the problem. For the breakfast do not expect a lot, you will have classical coffee and crouisant, cookies, honey, flakes - for us enough, but for the one who used to have eggs or sausages could be a bit too small.
no too far from train station
difficult to locate, property on 2nd floor with no lift, no restaurants nearby, nobody to assist you at the property for any information.
Everything LOOKS good, but details kills you..
Everything GOES wrong: -very poor breakfast -very slow internet -no info about TV channels and bad remotes -the SPA bath tub cannot be used as it has the drain broken and the main shower spills water on the floor -one can bell the ring from the outside door but nobody will answer... I was tempted to ask a refund for all that went wrong.
Colar to the station and to the Piazza de Netuno. Good restaurants nearby. Very close to a beatifull parco.
No elevator. Breakfast poor. The second day there was only onde bread for me and my husband to share.
The room was comfortably decorated.
1. I have several phone calls from hotel to let them know exact arriving time 2. The hotel was difficult to find out 3. The hotel staff could not speak English 4. TV had no signal and didn't work 5. The door of shower could not shut easily 6. There was no one at the check out time and just asked to leave a key on the phone
Owner has excellent taste in decor. Fun and pretty place to stay in this city. Nice snacks offerings in your room
