The hotel is in a building which is not only used as the hotel. The other floors of the building is used by other firms.
The reception is across the hotel which didn't bother us much, but was surprising staying in front of the hotel door, ringing and being picked up by the personell to the reception across the street.
A cafeteria, also across the street, is used as the breakfast room. The breakfast was very poor. Only some croissants, butter, orange juice, coffee, tea, some sweets, bread, one type toast cheese, one type salami. Dishes were not enough and we had sometimes to wait for new ones. The coffee didn't smell like I am used. Maybe it was a special one. :)
If you get the room at the end of the 3rd floor you will probably not have WLAN access. The signal is very poor. Even if I went below the wireless access point I couldn't log me in with the access data given by the reception. I told it to the reception but nothing changed.
One more thing to mention here. After the 2nd day we put our towels to the floor, which in hotel language means 'I need new ones'. At the evening as we came back to our room the same towels (we recognised them from the stain) were gently folded and hung up again. (The next day we got new ones)
We will never stay there again.
The place of the hotel is very good. 3-4 minutes walk to Vatikan City. Nearby are a number of shopping facilities, restaurants, public transportation facilities (metro, bus) etc.
The personell is good and very kind.
