Don't be put off by the facade. This hotel has a lovely feel to it, being situated in a great location alongside a canal. The rooms are are clean and comfortable and we strongly recommend rooms with a canal view which apart from providing some entertaining viewing, also gives a fascinating insight into the importance of this mode of transport to the Venetian people. All staff were helpful, with the desk staff,in particular, making guests feel very welcome. We shall definitely return in the future.
Nothing to note.
great location, nice canal view, tasty breakfast, genius loci of this palace
The location was perfect, tucked away down a canal just off of the grand canal, so little noise from the outside of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the courtyard garden was perfect for relaxing in after a long day exploring by foot. Would consider staying here again but wouldn't consider it as a luxury hotel.
The breakfast was just about palatable. There must of been a family in the room above us with young children as we were woken every morning by banging and crashing about from the ceiling above. The suite we were in was adequate, however the bath was small and cracked and the decor was very tired. There was no complimentary water in the room, and considering we booked 'the best suite in the house', it would have been a nice gesture to supply a bottle of bubbly, especially as they knew we were visiting for a special birthday. Also, we could only get one channel on the TV which was in english which was the news played on repeat. We certainly wern't in Venice to stay in the room to watch television, but it would of been nice to have the option of something other than the news. A movie option would have gone down well.
Friendly staff Spacious rooms Furnished fit for a palace. Tranquil location, but only 5 minutes walk fro St Marks square.
The bar opening and closing times is a little limiting.

Nice cozy hotel, very close to tourist attraction places.... Good brack fast.... Over all we would go back again...
The little bar in the room what were in the refrigerator, wasn't free or low in price! We would rather have them first on in the house and pay for second time...
Lovely place, fantastic location. Great breakfast , spotless rooms.
room was small but very clean
staff were a bit snooty and not particularly helpful. we went outside for a drink in the courtyard and waited 15 minutes for service before we left and went somewhere else.
All the conveniences of a luxury hotel. We were given arrival information in advance to make getting to the Liassidi Palace quite simple. Upon our arrival we were met at the private dock and shown to our room. Check in was easy and our bags were brought up promptly. There were 4 of us and we splurged on the 2-room executive suite. It was fabulous with a gret view of the Greci canal. Location was just a few minutes from St. Mark's, shopping and restaurants. The desk staff was extremely helpful with suggestions, directions and making reservations for excursions. Breakfast was also very good.
Everything was perfect!
Bathroom and amenities are fantastic
For this much money there should be a view!
Loved the location, the comfortable bed, the luxurious bathroom and the large variety for breakfast.
Breakfast staff not so friendly.
staff friendly position excellent good breakfast
rather noisy air-conditioning paintwork in rooms needed uplift
1. The position - so close to Piazza San Marco but so far from the crowds of tourists. 2. The lovely room we had, looking out over the Ponte Greci and the Greci Canal. 3. The cool, inviting courtyard - a great place for a drink at the end of the day. 4. The friendly and helpful staff. 5. The IN ROOM TEA AND COFFEE MAKING FACILITY - the first we'd had during our tour in Italy.
We can't think of anything, except the rather hideous and large painting (of Marilyn Monroe!) in our room.
Beautiful hotel with a great staff. Good location on a canal but not grant canal. Adequate breakfast but not stellar. Nice patio. Good air conditioning (it was 95+ degrees every day).
Room was luxurious but only one bath and second bedroom had a wall bed that was marginally comfortable. Very high price for no balcony not on Grand Canal...but would return.
Value for money
wifi poor signal
Great location. They have their own dock/entrance, so a water taxi can take you directly from the airport or train station to their door. Very nice courtyard to sit and have drinks. Very friendly staff.
The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the young man serving us drinks during Aperitif. The hotel was lovely in its grandure; we loved that we were able to walk all over Venice. Wonderful city!
Fairly expensive; the whole city is expensive.
The staff was very helpful. Location was great. Short walk to the canal.
The shower stall was small. Lucky we are a thin couple :). Our room overlooked the downstairs foyer which wasn't ideal but otherwise no complaints.
On our arrival we were greeted by helpful and friendly staff. The room was fantastic very clean and great view of the canal. All the staff were friendly and helped with our Italian!!!
The day of the boat came to pump out! Not a pleasant aroma at breakfast!
superb location - sights in nearby walking distance Free trip to visit Murano Glassfactory Good breakfastbuffet, viority of choices which is untypical for Italy Super friendly front desk staff
instable internet connection. If you can not connect, ask the front desk to reboot WIFI. room too cold at night as aircon steared centrally
The fact we were upgraded to a suite. It was beautiful.
Location, outside bar
Personnel with very poor language skills, room overpriced
Great location, away from the crowds. Nice courtyard bar. Spacious room.
