Location Staff very find Room furniture excellent Breakfast very good
Only breakfast is served not lunch nor dinner service but there are good restaurant neirby
We booked through the Booking at the price of 170 euros for two nights, after we arrived, the stuff man show us half-basement room with a very unpleasant smell of damp and mold and dirty carpets After we said that it was explained to us by a man from reception that we ordered room economy class and there is no other room. I said "I`m ready to add money to switch a room so as not to ruin the vacation" what s surprise ?! He found spare room with an extra 20 euros for night, we paid 210 euros total for two nights, there are much better places at this price (in addition we have added 10 euro for parking per day so it in sum 230 euro)
In a forest. Quiet place. Beautiful little building with Italian style decoration. Wifi is fast. Friendly staff which give you a map with suggestion of restaurants. We tried 2 restaurants and liked both! We forgot our bag in the hotel after checked out and only realised after 2 hours. We called the hotel and they found it for us. Really appreciated!
Bit walking distance from the center or bus station.
We checked in here as a group of 4 families with young teenagers and we're pleasantly surprised that ambiance were beyond our expectations. Though you would find it a bit compact when you get to the reception area, spotlessly clean rooms with high ceiling will greet you when you get in to the rooms. Well appointed beds are comfortably clean. Good sized toilet and bath with clean towels is another plus. Internet connection is excellent however not much power points in the room. But this wasn't a problem for us as we always bring extension cord with multiple sockets. Breakfast is served in the garden with garden gazebos. Breakfast is served from 7:30 and there are plenty of selections to choose from. Make sure to reserve your car parking when making a booking as there's only limited spaces in the premises, although there's a public car parking opposite the hotel which I personally don't think is safe. Staff is accommodating and special mention to the night shift staff (Dorian if we remember it right) who patiently answered all our queries. Over all this hotel is good value for money and highly recommended for having it as a base for touring Florence and surrounding places
There's limited number of tables in the breakfast area in the garden. If all the guests come down to have breakfast at the same time, others would end up waiting. No restaurant in the hotel, they only serve breakfast, they don't serve dinner. Parking space is very tight, not easy to manoeuvre. Continous traffic outside the hotel, not easy to join the road by car especially when turning left.
The location is good for the town, our motorcycles were safe in the courtyard and it was cheap.
The young owners do their best to make everyone feel at home. A great source of information for everything from local home-cooked food to the best ice cream in town. The equity base is a bit dated, at least our mattress was and made it difficult for us to get together :) as there was a "peak" in the middle of it and you would kind of roll down back to your side of the bed (happens when you turn used-up mattresses over). There is a lovely little garden behind the hotel where they serve breakfast. Breakfast has two highlights: they bake croissants and pains de chocolate in the morning (not from scratch, of course) and you can order a "real"coffee from the machine. The rest of the breakfast is as sad as in many Italian hotels of this category.
Our room a little "loggia" with two plastic chairs and an ash tray (no view). The loggia had not been cleaned in a long time. As I need a lot of fresh air I had to leave the door and shutter to it open and had to "suffer" that uncomfortable sight. The cleaner seemed to believe that this part was outside her duties during the three nights we spent there...
Pleasenty surprised. It was a good hotel to rest your head, after a long day of walking through Florence city centre.
Space of the room Location
Great location with a lovely walk into Florence. Very friendly staff and lovely Italian decor.
Lovely old house on tree-lined street of 19th century houses. Beautiful high-ceilinged room with decorated ceiling. Excellent breakfast.
No airconditioning, opened window and mosquito came in.
Green and quiet neighbourhood, perfect for relaxing walks. Nice and helpfull staff. Bar & garden: open 24h. 30 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio. Parking options: inside 10 eur/day or free parking just across the street.
Great place to stay. Walkable to centre of Florence, along river. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The staff is helpful and the location is great.
We arrived at 5.00pm for check in and only the single room was available. The double room was still not cleaned and we had to wait!
nice quiet place in the green side of florence. just 20 minutes walk to historic city center. 3 minutes to bus station.
A nice hotel in a green area of Firenze, which offers value for money, an excellent location at walking distance from the center and easy access to e.g. Sienna by car, a parking, a good breakfast and a friendly reception. Will return again!
There was nothing I could complain about.
Hotel is really a villa with really high ceilings in the rooms which are furnished with wooden furniture rather than usual particle board furniture. It is a very good place to stay for one who travels on a car but do not want to use the car in Florence – the hotel is almost at the boundary of free parking/nonparking areas of Florence and all central Florence is in a pedestrian access. A good walk can be started immediately from the hotel.
Heavy traffic on Viale Michelangiolo in front of the hotel. The traffic does not disturb in the hotel, but it almost impossible to turn left from the hotel by car. I would advise to press the button on a pedestrian light near the hotel to switch on the red light for the traffic to turn left safely.
Staff was very helpfull.
Rooms in front suffer from noise from the nearby busy street.
