breakfast was not enough and no more varieties, Too far from train station (Termini) .. etc
Probably the cosiest hotel in all of Rome - we loved the location - its a short walk to the center and quite close to the Villa Borghese park. A lot of the better restaurants are also located in the area (be sure to try the restaurant "Moonshine") close by. The hotel is a bit hidden, as the entrance is a big wooded door. You just need to look at the door bell for "Lilium Hotel".
Bathroom: old but cleaned Breakfast: average
Stuff: amazing Location: great Bed: single but comfortable Cleaning: great Bright and colorful
Nice little 'boutique-ish' hotel with friendly and conscientious staff. The guy working nights never complained when I rocked up at 4am in the morning after a night out. ;) It's a fair walk into the centre, but you do get to see more of the city and burn some calories.
A bit too far away from metro, but buses stop just minutes away from the hotel and run pretty much to all the places of interests
Atmosphere, range of services, and staff were absolutely amazing
Breakfast closed a bit too early
Great location, friendly and helpful staff
Everything was wonderful
The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and the terrace was lovely. They even provided a bottle of wine at my request when we arrived. The breakfast in the morning was filling and there was a good choice. The cappuccinos were absolutely delicious. The location was really good and it was right near a FANTASTIC gelato place.
Very nice place with very nice staff. What could be better!
amazing design of hotel, romantic room with balcon, friendly and so helpful staff, very good breakfast and coffe and great view from the breakfast room I would like to say Thank the full staff!!
We had a room on the street-side and there was busstop right below our window which made the nights too noisy.
excellent price-quality rate. The stay was lovely.
Walls are very thin and you could hear people next door. Hard to locate. 10 minute walk the nearest metro station. No soap provided. Breakfast very limited. For the price better could be found
helpful friendly staff.very comfortable bed. excellent breakfast lovely location
The staff was very helpful. Room was not to large, but very clean and had a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was quite sufficient and tasty. In the nutshell very good ratio quality-price.
nothing to say
decoration and style sunny and friendly great location cleanliness
Location perfect, staff friendly and efficient, room lovely, breakfast amazing! Will definitely be back.
It was clean, breakfast was great, helpful staff and for an excellent price. I was put off initially by the pictures- I thought it might be a bit garish. Actually it's a lovely place. Glad I booked and went and I would definitely stay again.
Beds were not really comfortable
Location was fine.close to most sights in rome.
We had no idea that guests were not allowed to visit in the room. My husband and I got news upon my arrival that my dad who lives in the USA was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. My sisters who were staying at another hotel in Rome came to our room so we could discuss my dads condition and offer one another support. We were called by a gentleman at the front desk who informed us that we couldn't have guests in the room and if they didn't leave he would call the police. I have never encountered this at any other accomodations in Italy nor at this hotel when we stayed four years ago. We were forced to leave the hotel and jump into a taxi to go to my sisters hotel to visit with each other. Then I had to pay for another taxi ride back to our hotel. Is this some new law or just this hotels policy? We were not planning on sneaking them in our tiny room to sleep with us overnight or anything. Really don't know what the harm would have been to quietly sit on her terrace or in the room. The only noise in the hotel was from the room next to our by guests who started packing and making all kinds of noise the night before because they were checking out at 4:30 am
Beautiful, charming and very friendly and polite staff
The rooms are nicely styled, but for the complete comfort lacks the full-length mirror in the room. The mirror was only in the bathroom over the sink
We liked everything in this hotel: room design, friendly staff, the quality and range of products for breakfast. The location is also very profitable, just 15 minutes by bus to the centre. Thank to the staff for hospitality and kindness!
a bit noisy at night because of the location, but i guess it depends on the season - if you come at winter time, you'll probably sleep with closed windows so it'll be more quiet. also the water in the shower went from hot to cold every few seconds, don't know why...
we had the best time at Lilium Hotel. the service was great, the staff made sure we get everything we asked for, the atmosphere is wonderful and the hotel itself is very nice and pretty.
Good it's worth to live this hotel.
It was little bit noisy. You could hear people steps and the trafic outside.
The room was very clean and the dsign is great. The workers in the hotel were very kind.
That first flight of stairs that you had to climb, with your luggage! My shower which had no light, it was a bit weird showering in the dark.
The food at breakfast. Really delicious. The proximity to Santa Maria della Vittoria and Galleria Borghese. Helpful staff.
The room with 2 people and 2 bags is simply too small (12m.)- even if Rome rooms might be generally small. In terms of the price not worth it, but Rome is expensive for what you get. Although an elevator, still a number of steps to get to it. Pay particular attention to exact location as only a bell downstairs with no other external signage. We asked local re location and we were only 2 doors away!
the public areas of the hotel are lovely - the blue and white painted walls etc out the front. The breakfast was a good choice of quality items including fresh fruit. The prosciutto and cheese (not a usual breakfast choice for us Anglos) were particularly good. The breakfast lady (her day off on Sunday but) was particularly friendly. The location was reasonably close (10min walk) to Termini. Room with small balcony over internal courtyard with shutters quite quiet for Rome.
