The location was great, close to vaporetos, Piazza San Marco and Rialto. The view of the Canal from our bedroom window was beautiful. You just wanted to sit and watch the gondolas go by.
Breakfast was a little poor.
The location is wonderful. It's close to the water bus station and st mark square. It's also next to one of the gondola station. Every morning we heard the singing from gondoliers while they are preparing their gondola for the day. The hotel looks old; however, it is very clean. We feel comfortable staying at the hotel.
Nice breakfast cosy room confortable bad
A little hard to find the entry is in passage to the vilonino D'oro hotel
Location close to st marks square Canal view Not too far from water bus Clean spacious bathroom
No lift, but helped with bags. Small room but again normal for venice
The staff was so helpful and the room was very clean.
The bathroom is very small so be advised.
The gondola station was close and you could hear the musicians singing and watch from the window
Quite a lot of stairs to our room
I spent 3 days in Venezia during end of November and decided to book Lisbona Hotel one day before my arrival. I was really glad with my decision because the hotel is very well located, close to San Marco Square and luxury stores in Venezia. I was travelling alone, so booked a small room with double bed. In fact, the room was not that small if compared to any other European hotel. The bed was very comfortable, their staff very polite, breakfast with good variety, bathroom was small but with a very good shower.
I believe the hotel should include free Wi-Fi on their offering rates in order to supply a complete service to the guests. Besides that, since they do not have elevator I do not recommend the hotel for people travelling with big and heavy luggage and with any mobility difficult.
Great location! Very helpful and kind stuff. Relation quality / price just fantastic!
location was outstanding
room was small
This was a great find.. close to the train station, many restaurants.... super staff and a very good breakfast buffet.
Nothing... we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Hourly Cost of wifi Lack of interest from staff Breakfast bread stale and limited choice
Not free wi-fi
The central location and the fact we could get a room with a view of the canal.
The bed wasn't very comfortable.
james the desk clerk [everything he recommended we did/loved] nice breakfast short walk to vaporetto [city boat line]
small room/shower/bath stairs bed could have been more comfortable don't pay extra for the canal view---not worth it... if you've never been to venice before the water taxi is a rip-off!...research vaporetto for easy [inexpensive] transport...
Extremely small room and bathroom. Hit head on sink when sitting on toilet. No room to place suitcases. Very small TV. Hard for two people to walk in room at same time.
Have a nice view over a busy canal. The room is clean and tidy.
No free wifi and the speed is slow. Breakfast no so sumptuous as it is shown in the photo.
Location Price Very nice staff, very helpful
The rooms are small but that is Venice Hotels. Not a big deal
Very clean. Great breakfast.Staff helpful.
The room was approx. 8 ft. x 8 ft.Very very smallLess than 18 inches on all 3 sides of the bed to the walls. A large suitcase would not fit sideways between bed and walls. Had to put them under the bed so you could walk to the bathroom. Then pull them out when you needed something. Also alot of steep steps up to the rooms.
Location was very close to the Opera House, several reasonably priced restaurants were nearby. Breakfast was available early in the morning with a decent choice of food (no hot dishes).
Very steep stairs. Large bed left very little space to walk, or store opened luggage. Internet charge of 3 Euros per hour.
Location is excellent, close to San Marco square and vaporetto station. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Gondollieri under your window. Freshly baked croissants for breakfast.
Poor wifi, expensive, only one device at a time, logging out everytime the ipad went to "sleep" mode. No fruit for breakfast.
Informative and kind staff.
Great locale and owner gave us a great tip for restaurant. Breakfast was delicious with fresh croissants and strong coffee.
Steep stairs, no elevator and room was a little cramped
The view outside the window was fantastic. The Gondolas of Venice right outside your window. Perfect.
To get to the perfect view we did have to climb four flights of stairs with luggage. No elevator at Hotel Lisbona.
I wanted close to cancel and in the action. The gondaliers were right below our window ,you could hear them singing an talking till about 10pm. This could be bad, but we enjoyed it. Very close to San Marco and boats.. The staff tried to help at all times.
The room was so small, could not walk around the edge. Breakfast no fruit and very repetitive. You would not want the weather to be bad, as you would go crazy in the room!
