Offering an outdoor pool and panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno, Hotel Voce del Mare features air-conditioned rooms and a furnished sun terrace.
Score from 330 reviews Very good
Set on the cliffs of Vietri sul Mare, La Lucertola offers modern rooms with balconies overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. Completely renovated, it features a private beach with bar.
Score from 246 reviews Good
On the Amalfi Coast, the 4-star Hotel Panorama has a swimming pool on its terrace which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Its private beach is just across the street, 65 ft away.
Score from 386 reviews Very good
Hotel Raito is on a hilltop with views of Salerno Bay and the Amalfi Coast. Near highway A3, it offers free parking and a free shuttle to Vietri and the beach.
Score from 148 reviews Very good
Location is good, very near the autostrade A3. Parking is available onsite and the hotel is a walking distance to the town. Breakfast has good variety
Floor is tiles and gets quite dirty. in the air condition you can only control the flow not the temperature.
Only the location of hotel is excellent
It is very bad quality of beads and not comfort to sleep at all
Good views over the harbour and Salerno, good price, wifi and parking for car.
Difficult to get into town, rooms need refurbishing,
Wonderful hotel in a wonderful place - the view over Salermo is unforgettable. Very good quisine and service.
Very sufficiently located, built, and serviced Hotel. Pleasent and helpful staff, sensibly priced.
Staff pretty friendly. Beach nice but too bad they have to charge guests to sit on it. Location good for doing some things on your own if you have a car.
Tour coordinator didn't seem to anxious to get us on a boat tour of Amalfi coast. When we were there the dining room was booked with a wedding - eating dinner where they serve breakfast was too bright!
The nice beach is at the hotel and costs only 5 euro for an adult.
I liked the location and old charm feel. I'm sure it was a great hotel thirty years ago.
The space was extremely dirty. I thought I was being bitten by bed bugs. The location is a 15$ cab ride from the nearest port - not too far or expensive but a hassle if you want to Vetri. Vetri isn't a nice city, I suggest leaving everyday for day trips to Positano and Amalfi. The staff was not helpful and often provided the wrong information. Overall not the best experience.
The location was great. The Amalfi coast is beautiful.
Bed uncomfortable, room very noisy, Wi Fi non existent. Staff unhelpful. We won't stay again.
Late night noise ear plugs should be provided
Unique hotel positioned on a cliff with its own beach. Great view of the sea from our bedroom.
Not so modern. Confusing to find you way around the hotel with a labyrinth of elevators. Bathroom was very small. Internet didn't work but I was told that this was a temporary issue. Very overpriced. Not very friendly staff, we actually saw one of them get into a fight with a guy from the public beach beside us, not very professional.
Location on Amalfi cost
Cargo - docks against the Hotel - dog'chance for sleep with open balkony - door ,very very noisy location in the nigh , no attractive look-see by the day
Charge for the hotel beach (5 Euros per persons), even it was mentioned at reception that it is free of charge.
Location, perfect view, private beach, services, closeness of Vietri and Salerno with good restaurants. Front desk staff is very helpful. All in all, best choice in the region - good value for money.
Breakfast was rather boring, the staff was not very nice. Booking for services is difficult, guest relations not really effective (they forgot to answer to most of our questions)
Close to Vietri and Other travel options
Very bad room cleaning, no attention to detail, actual coffee tea cups not replaced etc
The location was amazing, only stayed one night so didn't get to take advantage of all the hotel has to offer. Would stay there again
Liked the food/staff/aircon/wifi (but had to get a techie guy to get it working)/location/beach.
Having to pay to use the hotel's own beach! The lack of pool (though obviously was aware of that before arriving). Confusing layout. Lack of information (eg. changing location of dining room with no explanation or signage). Noise from shipyard, worse noise from beach bar music.
Nice place, private beach, wonderful sight. Upper level food and services.
Some hidden costs not clearly specified when reserving (e.g. beach). Wi-Fi was not available in our room all the time.
location, beach with chairs
Clean, friendly knowledgeable staff Great breakfast included!
Double the cost to access beach on last day!
The location is wonderful - a short taxi ride from the Salerno train station, the hotel is perched on a cliff overlooking the bay of Salerno and is a short walk to the small town of Vietri. It has a wonderful terrace that is perfect for a relaxing drink while gazing at the sea. A very pretty hotel, decorated with plenty of Vietri ceramic tiles.
The Wi-Fi signal is extremely weak and intermittent, so it's almost useless. There are disco parties near the beach (on Saturdays, at least) which go on till 4 am - extremely annoying if you're trying to sleep.
On arrival we were shown to out room which smelled very strongly of smoke. We went back to reception to request a room change which was done promptly and without any problems.
The 'sea' view was a view of Salerno docks which was not what we were expecting from a hotel on the Amalfi Coast. The docks was noisy and made sitting on the balcony not very appealing. The hotel has its own private beach but charges its own guests to use it! Overall the hotel is not bad but not good value for money. There are certainly places to stay in vietri which are better value for money with much better views.
The hotel itself was nice throughout corridors Breakfast good and catered for gluten free Meal for dinner in restaurant very nice and reasonable priced
Asked for sea view got it but mainly got port view which was terrible Wifi did not work most of the time Bed really hard Had to pay 5 euro to use the elevator to beach Room not very nice Had parking but attendant made us park in small space and had four wheel drive could not get out of space when we left
Location. Once you're off the train at Salerno, you don't want to travel much further, which is why the Lloyd's is in a naturally strategic position at Vietri. Its basically the first hotel you come to...There are 2 bus stops outside. Make sure you buy the local bus tickets (just 2 euros 30 to Amalfi, and not the all day tickets at 16 euros each.) Staff was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast buffet was nothing if not sumptuous..
There was a disco going on down on the ground floor outside; well. It was Saturday night, I suppose. Getting the geography of the huge hotel is challenging..you have to remember it's built onto a cliff, so reception is ground floor, and the rest is down. Our wifi didnt seem to work. However, by the time you've dragged yourself back from Positano, sunburned and tipsy, it probably won't matter..
