The hotel is really nice and in good condition although it looks normal outside. The staffs are friendly and they made me feel really welcome there. The hotel is located near a bus stop and you can take the bus 60 to go to Coloseum and nearby famous places like Trivi fountain, Patheon,...the bus 62 to go to Vatican, these buses just take 10-15 mins to those places. The room is really clean and cozy. Free breakfast and wired internet connection, if you dont bring the internet cable with you, they will give it to you, so no need to worry. They also can keep your lugguages in case your flight or train depart later than 11 am without any charges. Its a bit difficult for those first visit Rome to reach the hotel, because the nearest station is quite far from the hotel, so its better to reach the hotel by taxi, its about 15 euros for each person, its more convinient than taking a train from the airport to Termini station, then take a metro or tram to the hotel which cost the same amount.

A simple, quiet hotel. Rooms are clean tidy and modern. Breakfast was simple but ok. The location (10 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Station (Policlinico). You can take the bus 60 to go to Coloseum and the bus 62 to go to Vatican. One minus was that we booked a triple room and we got a double room with extra bed and we didn’t have space to move in our room. When we complained the guy in the front desk said :That is a triple room in Italy.

Was a total rip off , they charged us €100 for late check out. Which we needed as we had a Baby with us. We checked out @5pm , €30 would have been plenty. Very disappointing .

The hotel was very clean. A pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and lots of it. The dining room felt a bit cramped.

The location was excellent. Lloyd is not direct in the city, but has an easy access to the city centre. You can take a 15 mins walk to Termini or a 5 mins walk to the underground station. Moreover, there is a bus stop nearby. Facilities are good, personnel are friendly. The hotel could provide international breakfast. Breakfast buffet is poor for international customers.

Our room, 502, was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. Wi-Fi was too weak in our room but the receptionist lent us a blue cable which fixed the problem. Otherwise, there is nothing we did not like.

The location was near University, which served my purpose, breakfast was surprisingly very good, from salty to sweet, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice... (Italy is otherwise more into simple coffee + brioche breakfast), free wi-fi in the rooms.Hotel is a 10-15min walk from the Metro (Castro Pretorio), there are many bars and restaurants in the vicinity, and a fruit&vegetables market 50m from the hotel.

It is quite central and in a quiet area with no traffic. A good breakfast with many things to chose from. I ordered a coffee in the bar and got a cold coffee, I asked for some milk and I believe that was cold from the fridge, and in an esspresso it made it cold. They could have offered it instead of making me pay for it.

Most of all we have to admit that Hotel Lloyd was the ideal option for a "value for money hotel". We enjoyed the cleanliness, the tranquility, the kindness of the staff but also the variety of breakfast. To conclude, it is a great place for some to relax and get all the important information about the most important attractions in Rome. The centre of Rome is about 20 minutes away (on foot!) from the hotel, however for those who enjoy walking and exploring the alleys of Rome instead of taking the subway which is quite dirty, the location of the hotel would be much more an advantage for them.

The staff members were welcoming, very helpful, and seemed to genuinely care. They called us a taxi at 1:45a.M., after reassuring us the taxi would come in a couple of minutes - and it did. Will definitely consider staying there again in future visits to Rome. The hotel is in a very nice area where we felt safe to walk at night. Plenty of shops and places to grab a bite to eat.

Hotel Lloyd is extremely clean, the bed is good, the room very quiet yet central, the staff is very helpful and the price, for Rome, is very good; which is more than what you can expect in Rome. No hesitation in rebooking this place in the future. I have a couple of critics: 1) I thought the service and information was very basic: - No hotel booklet in the room telling you how to use the wifi, no price list for the mini bar, etc., no document telling you where and when you can have your breakfast. For any question you'd have to ask the reception when usually in a hotel you'll find all that in a booklet. - Very basic products/services provided in the room. No shower cap or anything of the sort. Soap and that's it. Old TV very limited in international channels. Wifi is only working at the reception, etc... A bit light for a 3 stars hotel. 2) the breakfast room is very small so we had to queue every morning to have our breakfast.

seemed clean Ran out of food in the included breakfast - no bread? - How do you sell the hotel with breakfast included then run out of food? - How do you run out of bread in Italy - Had a feeling it was just laziness of staff - Left a bad taste for what otherwise would have been a decent hotel

Very good connection to the city centre (4 bus stops from Termini, direct buses to Piazza Venezia (Centro Storico) and Coloseum. Room very clean and tidy. Not by the main street so there is no traffic noise. Very noisy air conditoning devices (background noise all the time). Poor service at breakfasts (ham, salami, cheese, juice was often ran out and it took "ages" to get a new delivery, the same story with coffee).
